Hey you need another collaboration with Townsend's!
I don’t want to watch anyone on any channel that doesn’t carry flint and steel.
Very nice pouch you made. I carry a couple that I made over ten years ago that I keep on my belt when I’m in the field.
It’s always nice to see others’ pouches and kits.
👍🏻👍🏻
Hand-made items such as this are truly HEALTHY consumerism! Good job!
Hey Coalcracker
Watched yer 5 bushcraft item video & learnd to make fire with a piece of an old file & a chunck of quartz from my drive way, u were right it is fun. Now l have a new party trick, when we get to party again.
Cheers
The pouch is pure coolness mixed with 100% functional!! The contents are always the essentials. The pocket knife.....well I will just say that the functionality of it is prime and the sentimental value (and moral) is off the charts!!!! (One for Corporals Corner - Outstanding AF!!!!!)
I carry a emergency foil blanket because in a real emergency, for example it starts raining even in spring and you got caught out and are starting to show signs that your body is cooling down too fast, you're really not going to want to mess around trying to make a shelter. You can just tie the blanket like a lean to and be out of the rain.
Glad I'm not the only one who keeps the blanket pin with my belt kit. Very cool Dan
Awesome video! Congratulations on that well crafted belt pouch!
Love belt pouches! That's a really nice one.
Wow - you're right, really turned out great! The supple look of the leather is really nice. Nice carry "stuff" as well.
thank you for sharing, CoalCracker Bushcraft 🌲🦅🌲
Very well used and loved kit there. Nice!
Good job on pouch. Useful kit. Nice.
so beautiful. great work! always wanted to make one myself.
Nice...love the pouch.
Nice little kit! I keep a belt kit aswell and enjoy doing my own leatherwork myself. Much live friend✌❤😃
that mini knife is a very cool piece, the whole kit is nice
Nice pouch
I need to get a flint and steel kit. It’s one thing I haven’t tried yet. Thanks again for your time making vids for us.
I like your pouch.
Good stuff, Maynard.
Nice useful kit
Love it!
GOOD GEAR SIR!...SAFE JOURNEYS TO YOU
Thanks.
Very cool pocket knife. I have one from each of my grandfather. They will be passed down to my kids some day.
Giving my Dads to my Son.
Every bit of that is very cool!! I want it all!! I have a knife that my Mom gave me that was my Dads.
This is amazing. Have been watching your stuff for ages. Five weeks ago I saw a copper tin exactly the same for sale in Australia $75. It contained a flint and steel kit, from (the Museum of the fur trade) with the steel, some flint rocks, char cloth and jute. Unfortunately (as I found out ) it had came from a deceased estate. Just had to buy it, as we don't really have that stuff over here. Keep up the good work. Thanks.......Damon from Australia
Looks like a great kit you bought
Nice 😊❤
Cool channel!
The brass tin is a 1790s style tobacco tin
Cool. How about a blooper reel video? I think we'd all enjoy that!
I feel like knight rider now cause all us bushcrafters are always talking bout kit.! 😂 this was a good one like the bag pouch !
Lol,good old days
I really love that leather pouch im gonna make one myself. Im currently making a wool Anorak. I have the back and chest pieces and sleeves sewn together. Im still trying to figure out a hood for it.
Great !
Stylish leather pouch ...
I have one of your belt pouches it one of my favorite pieces of gear. I keep close to the same items in mine also except the blanket pin. Hey found some your older long hunter type videos. Do you still practice any of that era?
Good video. I’ve been thinking about trying to weave a belt pouch out of paracord actually. Also, I know you probably don’t want to put him in front of a camera too much but I’m looking forward to the next little dude stuff upload.
Great video I am a 1770’s reenact-or I also carry a belt kit close to yours. I saw you in a James Townsons video and loved it. I would love to know what you wear and what you carryon a 18th century woods walk and what type of long gun you use. Take care and thank you very much.
Kind regards.
Hey gotta question for ya. The hubby wants to get me something for mother's day. I totally suck and couldn't think of anything until Ding!!! I remembered your video on the coffee press. Don't have one of those and when your out the woods you need a good cup of coffee in the morning. Went back found that video and got the brand you have. But I also remembered that company you have send a different kind every month after filling out a card. I can't find that video. Maybe after a few more drinks I will either find it or end up with a hang over tomorrow. So if you could spare me the hang over and let me know that would be great. Altho there is no online schooling tomorrow so I can sleep in haha. You are great man. We love watching ya!! Much love from Michigan
Great video as always,I was wanting to know what kind of canteen set you have in your haversak,it's looks like a black bottle? Thanks
interaction. support.
+like for grand-pa knife. I have a Marlin Spike Knife like the one my grandfather carried in WWII. there is a bit of debate among my family if it's THE knife he carried, or just one of a dozen Marlin Spike Knives that were in his estate when he passed in 1987
Maybe a personal question,do you know where your grandfather fought ?
I'm a bushcrafter from Belgium, much respect for your grandfather.

Steve
Also know as a small "possibles" pouch!
How do you keep the pin from the blanket pin from poking through the leather?
What's the weight of the leather for belt pouch thanks
hay man were you in Grant?? there is a guy that looks just like you in the first episode... J
Would you sharing where you get your leather material? I’m having trouble finding some, thanks in advance.
You can thrift old leather seats/couches for thin leather, it’s probably faux leather tho
You can also order online from Tandy Leather
? Question what is a blanket pin and what does it do/ why do you need one?
It’s how you secure your wool blanket around you cloak style.
Where do you store all the manliness? That belt pouch is way too small for that much manliness. Happy Trails.
130,00 Big ones for a pouch?
Fanny pack
Im dissapointed to find out you dont actually dress like in the townsends videos!
