Really like the coal cracker belt bag,as well as your antique knife Jake. Great review Jake. I also carry Vaseline soaked cotton balls sealed in a straw to keep it dry.🍀👍😎

I see the belt pouch as supplementary to the gear on your person. I carry a belt knife, pocket knife, and a lighter on my person (in addition to other non outdoor edc stuff) so my belt pouch holds my ferro rod, small hank of cordage, bandana, sharpening stone and small strop, fresnel lens, and a small tin with fat wood. Redundancies and more traditional tools are kept in my pack.

I smoke cigarettes so a new Bic is always on me. Along with the one I'm currently using. I do carry a ferro rod when I'm going camping. I'm not sure why one would carry so many ways to make fire with them as an EDC if you do carry a Bic lighter. Essentially you could argue that the lighter got wet. Or it's below 31 degrees. But if you only have a Bic, you're pretty much firekitted out. At least for the EDC.

I definitely agree. I carry a lot of the fire stuff just because it gives me a few different options. Whether I’m shooting a video or teaching I’ve got the means to do multiple different demos.
