I only saw this like maybe ONCE one late night on "ABC Rocks". It stuck in my head, lodged permanently. Was great to see it again on youtube about 35 years later.
That character is like a punk version of Ed Grimley. The only memory I have of this REO Speedwagon music video is the protagonist goes to hell.

Should've been a top ten hit since REOs rockers were ace. One more recent REO tune that fits this bill is Smilin' in the End.
Smilin in the End is a great song. They play it at the end of every concert as the band is leaving the stage.
@@whalers59 Cool. Sadly, songs like that are overlooked since every station plays "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "Keep on Lovin You" acting as if REO has not made any songs since then.
