Alan Rickman had one of the most unique and iconic voices I can think of and a phenomenal actor. RIP. He is dearly missed.
Seeing him in Harry Potter movies and then seeing him in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street. I saw with those 2 movies hiw much I loved Alan Rickman in pretty much anything he did in general. I could see being intimidated by him completely. But, he was also it sounds like from Daniel's point of view a tremendous mentorer and human being. Also, he sounded like he helped and encouraged Daniel very much. It's always nice when people help others to be better at their craft. It shows tremendous respect and caring to do things like that. Showing up at all Daniel's productions before he passed and also informing him on things that would greatly impact him and enrich his life and job skills is a great way to be taught and remembered for. I'm glad to have seen these clips. Ty

I wasn’t expecting to tear up by the end of this little video, but Dan talking about how Alan Rickman would go to all his shows and gave him so many tips and tricks, that’s really sweet, it’s nice hearing how close they were.
He did that with his Galaxy Quest actors, too. Even the actor who played Quellek and gave the most emotional line in the film to.
I became teary-eyed when I heard Daniel recounted about Alan, who's so caring and supportive of his fellow actors and actresses.
Alan Rickman represented what is Royal,regal,talented and extraordinary about British acting.No over the counter fast food acting....just pure and unadulterated story telling...❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

A reaction heard from actors arround the globe. What a wonderfull person Rickman must have been. Beside the scaryness, which he did not do much with. But perhaps that was, I don't now why, a good thing. At least for him.
Daniel has somehow maintained an amazing "believe it or not, it's just me" vibe despite being catapulted at the spotlight and his well-documented struggles. He seems like such a balanced person for having been so long on a terrifying tilt-a-whirl.

Money and fame are funny, like you rarely if ever would hear just someone else's co-worker or boss talk like this or do things like this but once you have a certain level of money for a job and everyone is happy, you get more of this.
Most people, try asking co-workers to come to something they are doing outside of work, 99% will say how they are busy, don't have time. The one that does go probably never talks about it to anyone.

What would you have done though? Once JK said what she said the young kids in Harry Potter were faced with an impossible choice. If they say nothing people would say they agreed with her, if they put out a statement deploring what she said people would think they had betrayed her.
Look at how certain people celebrated Robbie Coltrane's death because he supported her.
I truly believe that JK Rowling should simply have kept quiet and not said anything, because it forced all these young actors into a situation not of their making where they had to decide between two wrong choices
They only said their opinion and they have the right to do that, they are not being rude towards JKR.
She on the other hand has been supporting people who have been disgusting towards trans people and she herself also shows no respect for trans people in the way she talks about them.
