Hi everyone!
For this video, I am creating this modern retro/chic grungy look! (let me know which description is best suiting!) lol
I am playing for the first time with the Pat McGrath Labs Mothership III Subversive palette and doing live swatches for you!
Also, while I was doing my makeup, my Lisa Eldridge order arrived! So I couldn't resist, I tried on the Velvet Decade lipstick!

This eye shadow pallete is breathtaking. This is my favourite mothership pallete by far I'm on my sec pallete since the first launch and I always get complemented when I wear it ❤❤

I love mixing foundations too. It’s usually BC I need adjusting color or texture for my skin. 🤷🏼♀️

I got the divine rose 🌹 palette from Pat McGrath. I hate to admit it but I don’t love it. (I love midnight sun so much better!). I thought I was going to love the colors but I find them boring and kind of same-y, and the repeat of 3 colors is annoying because I’ve already got them. 😞
Maybe when you do a few looks with them I’ll learn how to use and enjoy them. I’m counting on you Johanna! 😊 They’re just not exciting to me.

I’m wondering how you’re finding the new makeup brushes, especially the Sonia G brushes? In my experience, using high quality brushes had made my application much better. One last thing 😊, I appreciate how you film your videos- lingering over the swatches, being thoughtful and taking your time. I love your style ❤️❤️. Tomorrow I will try the Pat McGrath look you did here, I’m going out to the pictures with my father - to a fancy theater! Love the purple on you, with the glow!

I really like the Sonia G brushes, there are still some I haven't played with yet... but so far, very good quality!

I have yet to see it! I am pretty much done with Sephora because of it. There rewards are so difficult to get that they may as well not have it.

Julienne Hajdu Camel I shop at Nordstrom and get the Nordy rewards. For the brands that aren’t sold there. I can just go to their websites. I also use Beautylish - they send nice size samples that don’t cost 100 points. I still have Rouge at Sephora so I may pick up some things when they have their sales.

@@JohannaGMakeup good idea! Oh btw I don't know if you saw that Barneys has 10% off of everything including beauty! I got a few surratt eyeshadows. I'm pretty sure they're going out of business so I imagine within the next few weeks everything else will be even more reduced.

Hi Johanna-I also tried redeeming my 2500 points for the $100 reward, but kept missing it even though I was logged in early. What you must do is call Sephora customer service about 10 min before 9 and they will help you add it to your cart so that you can redeem it. I believe it comes available Tues & Thurs.

It's hard, especially because I need to play more with my newest additions! Maybe get the Iconic Illumination quad or Ritualistic rose... and for a big one I think I would start with Mothership V... or the M. I ,if you like cool tones... The Mothership III is gorgeous too but maybe harder to come up with looks...? It's a tough one! But I would take advantage of her Black Friday sales!
