I'm glad to hear about the music. On the AT I felt like I overdid it based on the comments so I tried to backed off on the PCT videos and only use it to convey moods when necessary.

Welcome TO OREGON , it has its own uniqueness . Hard to find another with such deviristy, keep in mind we have 300 miles of open beaches also. 🎉

I am so saddened to see so many miles of burnt forest, some from decades ago and so me we recently. I'm a Cali resident and I wish national forest, stage forest, local... would put more money into putting the fires out when they're small. My homeowners insurance has tripled in the last 10 years and I live in a neighborhood that's a mile from 2 fire stations!

That growl scared me. Mountain lions usually don’t even let you know they’re around at all unless there were cubs or something, which is scary. Prob the only predator on the pct that I am leery of other than bees. I’m allergic.

We haven't found many that replace trekking pole tips and for you for shoes. Most are just retailers.
