Because it's an industry-level software, almost every editor uses Premiere Pro. If a client wants changes and needs to hand over the project to other editors, it's easy to share the project file. I hope you understand
I would say not mandatory but it is needed as the 'industry' demands this software, but the art of editing does never depends on the software, it depends on the seeker who wants to learn editing.

i am also video editor in vashi, my office is just 30 min away from my home this is my first video editing job everyday i work on my editing skills but ye to pata hai ki video editing job me itni salary nahi hai but i learn a lot from this job agar iss field me paisa kamana hai to skills sikhni padegi lekin vo skills sahi jagha pe use bhi karna aana chahiye nahi to zindagi bhar 20 - 30 hazaar par reh jayenge aur apko Niraj 2 year iss company me complete hue hai uske liye badhai aapko🎉 lekin bhai sorry aap kuch sikh nahi rahe ho bas job me apna time laga rahe ho jaisa maine bola main bhi job karta hu lekin main ghar aane ke baad excercise karta hu uske baad after effects, photoshop, Blender jaise softwares bhi sikhta hu aapki skills ka fayda uthao brother paise kamao me khud ek accha reel editor hu lekin mujhe reel dekhne ka time nahi milta 😂
bhai tumlog apna yt ya insta page banake khud ka content kyu nhi banate ho. apna jo bhi editing skill hai wo tu sikh te hi rho sath hi side main apna khud ka content bhi banalo kyuki tumlog ko to acche se pata hai kab konsa video viral karna hai. because aise bhaut se youtubers hai lower middle class se upper middle class bange hai tu tum kyu nhi ! & i hope tum bhi ek din bhaut bade editor + youtuber/Influencer bano all the best 👍🏼

@@Sanjeevani1111_kookoo_vani meri bhi family wale bhai mujhe tana marte the main pehle 12 hazaar ki job ki 8 mahine job ki saving karke ek 62 hazaar ka gaming laptop liya ek saal break leke editing sikhi uske baad mujhe iss saal march me 18k ki job lagi after 3 months meri salary abhi 21k hai.
abhi me bohat sari chize sikh raha hu jaise ki after effects, da vinci resolve, blender etc . aur 2 - 3 month me me mera 70k ka camera bhi lunga mere kuch plans hai aage bhi aur abhi meri age 24 hai me ek suggestion deta hu bhai aapko kisi bhi kaam me successful banna hai to usme indepth knowledge lene ki koshish karo ki success jhak marke aapke piche aayegi
