    My Opinions on Now 41
Best Track - "Perfect 10" - Beautiful South
Most Iconic Track - "Music Sounds Better With You" - Stardust
Hidden Gem - "Dreams" - The Corrs
Guilty Pleasure - "Tell Me Ma" - Sham Rock
Notes - This is a much better album than Now 40. The First Disc is dominated by acts from the 80's (Such as Culture Club, U2, and Janet Jackson) .

    CD 1:
As I’m not from the 1990s, I have to say that there is little to no variety in pop whatsoever, meaning I can’t grasp that much good out of it. Nonetheless, here is the highlights
    - No Matter What
    - *Millennium*
    - Someone Loves You Honey
    - (Missy Elliot’s only appearance)
    Now onto CD 2:
There is definetely more variety overall. There is only really one con with this and it’s “Would You…?” Here are the highlights.
    - Girlfriend
    - Sex On The Beach
    - *Music Sounds Better With You*
    - Sit Down ‘98
    - Gangster Trippin’
    - No Regrets
    - We Gotta Get Outta This Place
    - My Weakness Is None Of Your Business
Not the best album overall but it certainly beats the spring 1998 album NOW 39

I'm starting to really like this album if not on par and slightly weaker than 40 and the same applies to 45 in comparison to 46 😀

Yeah this one isn't bad at all in my opinion, I take it you much prefer this over the next one NOW 42 and would you say it's better than 39 as well? 1998 is one of those years where I find it really difficult to order the NOWS as I find 39, 40 and 41 all pretty much on par, and although none are outstanding, none of them are poor either.

@@robertatkinson1347 yes I prefer this one over 42 by a lot though I would probably say 39 is still my favorite 1998 Now as it really is awesome if not on par with 36 👌

@sddk2k8thenowthatswhatical66 ah so you must really like NOW 39 then as you always referred to it as being average before with 40 your favourite of this year. I totally agree with it being about on par with NOW 36 as well all be it slightly stronger maybe. 36 is still good though and it just sums up how good the 30s NOWS are, here's my rankings :-
      😍 Awesome: 34, 30
      😁 Great: 31, 35
      😊 Really Good: 33, 37, 38
      🙂 Good: 32, 39, 36
I think I prefer 33 slightly more over 32 though it's pretty close between those two I must say, and there isn't much between 32, 33, 37 and 38 at all I must say. 36 is the weakest but still good of course, the 30s NOWS overall really are excellent it has to be said 👌

@sddk2k8thenowthatswhatical66 yeah 33 rocks and I don't find it that much behind 35 either that's how good 1996 is musically as a year, we both of course agree that 34 is the best NOW of the 30s and its also the age I'll be turning in a few days time too 😊

It makes me sad knowing that Ace Of Base had to re-record "Life Is A Flower" with new lyrics because the American record company thought that the original was too weak and "hippy" for the far more manly American market.

Another great tracklist vid, Rob! Lots of good tracks here too, I'm not sure I can pick a favorite. I particularly like Jennifer Paige's "Crush" though. I'm also pretty partial to Phil Collins' "True Colors" too. I love the Artists Against cover of "True Colors." Have you heard the Artists Against version, Rob? No, you probably haven't, but a ton of Canadian artists like Fefe Dobson, Simple Plan, Alyssa Reid, Hedley, Walk Off the Earth, Lights and Kardinal Offishallmore did a cover of "True Colors" as an anti-bullying theme in 2012. It's a really great cover, I think it's even better than the original Phil Collins version! Go give it a listen, Rob! Just look it up on CZcams or Spotify!
    Anyway, awesome vid!

+P0CK3TB00K Cheers P0CK3TB00K but it was actually Cyndi Lauper that did the original version of 'True Colours' which was released in 1986, and Phil Collins covered it. It is a good cover mind and I will take what you said into thought and listen to this third version of the song either on CZcams or Spotify :)
Jennifer Paige's 'Crush' is a decent song but I also like 'The Sweetest Thing' by U2, 'If You Buy This Record Your Life Will be Better' by The Tamperer featuring Maya, 'Music Sounds Better with You' by Stardust, 'My Favourite Game' by The Cardigans, and 'Tell Me Ma' by Sham Rock (A great track to finish the album off with) but my favourite probably has to be 'Sex on the Beach' by T-Spoon as it's very catchy and brings back memories from my Childhood :)
      Thanks once again P0CK3TB00K :)

Robert Atkinson So, Rob, have you heard the Artists Against version of "True Colors" yet? If so, what did you think of it? I think it's even better than Phil Collins' version. Once again, a ton of Canadian artists like Fefe Dobson, Simple Plan (their song "Summer Paradise" was on Now! 83), Alyssa Reid (her song "Alone Again" was on Now! 81), Kardinal Offishall (he was featured on Akon's "Beautiful" on Now! 73), etc. sang that cover in 2012 as an anti-bullying theme. I think the song's words fit so well with the theme of anti-bullying. It really was a good song to pick and I love their version! Have you heard the Artists Against version now, Rob? And if you did, what did you think of it?
