Lyrics:
[Chorus]
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
[Verse 1]
When the night falls down
I wait for you and you come around
And the world's alive
With the sound of kids on the street outside
[Pre-Chorus 1]
When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
And we're spinning with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love
[Chorus]
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
[Verse 2]
When I feel alone
I reach for you and you bring me home
When I'm lost at sea
I hear your voice and it carries me
[Pre-Chorus 2]
In this world we're just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby, I was afraid before
But I'm not afraid anymore
[Chorus]
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
(Heaven)
(Heaven)
(Heaven)
[Pre-Chorus 2]
In this world we're just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
Baby, I was afraid before
But I'm not afraid anymore
(Heaven)
[Chorus]
Ooh, baby, do you know what that's worth?
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We'll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth
Ooh, heaven is a place on earth

How is the video quality so good for 1987?
You are very beautiful 😊
@@uknowmyname007 That's easy to answer. High budget movies were shot on expensive film of great quality but the TVs we watched them on (and VHS playback for example) had its limitations. As tech advanced they could release the actual quality of the source material in HD and higher - same goes for certain high budget music videos too, like this one. Not to mention the giant leap in video restoration these days.

I'm a metalhead but my mate loves this song, gonna forward it to him
Was one my mom's favourite songs. I played it at her funeral and the San Junipero episode of black mirror just resonated with me. This song reduces me to tears every time
God bless! My late mom also had a fav song. She died a bit over 3 years ago and when i listen to it now i smile and think of her fondly. Time does heal.
Honestly my greatest fear on Earth is losing my mother , she’s what makes Heaven On Earth , her & a very very select few . The Loss will be the only 1 to ever break me , i’d wish that i go before her , but when i think of what that would do to her , i realize that there are no happy endings… Just Endings , i hope Life Consoles you . And i just pray my Mother & Father Live Happily For a Long , Long Time
Me the song reminds me of the black mirror San Junipero episode

80's music makes me happy.
I didn't exist yet when this song was released, but I genuinely believe that music is a reflection of its time and era. Today's music clearly shows we're unhappy, hopeless, and constantly looking back on the past, trying to relieve it with remixes of old songs.
And the 80s look completely different from the 20s - vibrant, hopeful, carefree, and innovative. Who wouldn't want to live in that kind of world?
Knowing everything I know now, I'd happily give up on advanced technology and social media, travel back to the 80s, and stay there forever.
Yeah I agree 100%! I grew up in the 80’s and it was fantastic!
deffo! simpler is better
I lived through the 80's. And while it was a good time, it wasn't perfect. Hindsight tends to be a bit rose tinted. That being said, i'd go back in heartbeat. The whole concept of social media has made people miserable. I'd much rather go back to a time when social meant actually being around people in a physical sense. So much better.
I,m a late 60,s, 70,s and 80,s guy! In 1976 I turned 20. I lived in a much better world! I got the best out of all. Then came Metallica, OH YA!! Jeff D.
Amazing that you can have perspective about 80`s though not exsist then.

I wait for you, and you come around
And the world’s alive
With the sound of kids on the street outside
When you walk into the room
You pull me close and we start to move
We’re spinning with the stars above
And you lift me up in a wave of love
Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We’ll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
When I feel alone
I reach for you, and you bring me home
When I’m lost at sea
I hear your voice, and it carries me
In this world we’re just beginning
To understand the miracle of living
I was afraid before
But I’m not afraid anymore
Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We’ll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ah-ah-ah-ah heaven
Ah-ah-ah-ah heaven
In this world we’re just beginning
To understand the miracle of living (miracle of living)
I was afraid before
But I’m not afraid anymore
Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth?
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
They say in heaven love comes first
We’ll make heaven a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth
Ooh heaven is a place on earth

In April 2023 , this song is still truly iconic ! The 80s will forever be the best decade of music!
In all things, the 80s of the 20th century were the summit of historical evolution and improvement of mankind history, the best years ...
32 years since I first saw this video, I still remember how Belinda just swept the world with this monster hit and hearing this over the radio for over a year is just something. It became an iconic song of the 80s and now Belinda is a legend. And 32 years later, I still have a crush on her.

Yes, Indian music too.
That’s what everyone says about their formative decade.
@@kelman727 im from 98 I not lived in that time, And I know it was an amazing time, there was too much economic growth and a lot of creative production therefore.
Belinda's songs where so positive, and full of hope....

yes and 80s were great at all
Miguel ascencio belinda era una stupenda cantante
The 1980'ies were also political chaos, air raid sirens every wednesday at high noon, constant fighter jet flyovers, massive NATO millitary excercises every year, and of course THE BOMB. Never forget that freedom is not for free, and it must be protected with brute force.
1980s was lit af there was blow everywhere and pre emissions cameros for everyone.
2024 - this song still awesome!
I remember roller skating to this song when I was 13 I am still skating at 45 😊
