    Always remember the Ten Commandments of New Construction!
    1. Know exactly where you stand when it comes to representation. Think of a builder like a car salesman - they are not after your best interests. They are after the sale.
    2. Use a Realtor. Without a Realtor, no one is there to fight for your best interests.
    3. Never walk into a builder’s office without your Realtor present. Many builders will not let you use a Realtor once you have walked into their office.
    4. Always have an inspection done.
    5. Remember the three R’s: reviews, ratings and references. The smaller the builder, the more diligent you must be.
    6. Read the fine print, always.
    7. Shop lenders. The builder’s lender is after the builder’s best interests, not yours.
    8. Never let money change hands without a written agreement.
    9. Be knowledgeable and prepared if the price of your home can increase.
    10. Never consider a verbal agreement to be binding. Always get it in writing.

    I got a chance to walk in that home, and speak with the agent in the home, it was great to see, he stated it could go up to 300 SFT and its on a 100 ft lot.

    I’ve been looking into Mansfield because someone told me they had a great school district. I thought south of DFW was mostly a farm/ranch area. Is there a lot to do in Mansfield?

    This home is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a little more than we need though. Do Highland Homes have any smaller, more affordable homes in M3 Ranch?

      Perry is usually on the high end of the price spectrum, John houston and American legends got some lower prices
