I've got this one a few months back and experimented alot with it and found that if you put the depth and rate at zero and put the feedback on like 25% to 50%. And the manual at around 50% as well. Pair that setting after a distprtion pedal and you get that 80s metallic tin can sound! It sounds so awesome riffing with it. And if you lower or increase the manual settings there you will get very different tones of it, for me around between 40 and 50% sounded best. It was honsestly not a use I could ever imagine I'd have for a flanger pedal when I got it but now I'm glad I did find it!
Hello, TC, could you tell me how the Thunderstorm compares to the Vortex? Is the price difference really worth it or is it an apples to oranges kind of thing? Can't wait to hear from you so make it snappy! :)
Quick question: I can’t find one to demonstrate anywhere near me, would this work well when doubled with a chorus pedal to create a liquid-y soundscape? Thank you!
That's the same way I would use a flanger, to pair it with a chorus and create some xompex/weird textures Ala Cocteau Twins...no one seems to experiment like this sadly.

I have this pedal. A bit on the big side, but great sound, solid build, and I love the top-mount jacks.
This was so excellent!!! I really loved your playing!!!
Great demo!
Just ordered mine. :)
I'm loving the job designation "Knob Fondler". I kind of want that on my CV.
I know, right?! Has an almost Deadpool tongue-in-cheek feel to it :)
Excellent demo, just bought one...
I love this pedal!
Nice tune.
0:46 Tool moment....

lol getting crazy tones 1:58 HAHAHA
I'm thinking of getting an ibanez airplane flanger but I don't want to be attacked by flanger snobs
Finnan Cahill if it sounds good to you, that’s all that’s important.
Tab?
Not sure why he's on a beach.
Because Aarhus has alot of beautiful coastlines ;)
better back ground than some boring studio. also fits the mood.
because of the watery sound ?????
He's trying to create a tsunami.
Cause it's pretty.
what was in the signal chain?
Hah! Guitar, Thunderstorm, recording device :-)
TC Electronic that's why there are 4 tc pedals in my board... and counting, with me thinking about getting this flanger to work with a fuzz.
It's gunna sound huge with a fuzz!
What is the différence between this one and vortex??
