David should have never died
@@tonyleidyiii1652I believe they knew about Bruce's illness before hand
I still can't fucking believe M. Night killed David Dunn like that. What a dishonorable and cruel death.
The beast should have drowned him instead
He was humble and stoic the whole time, he was the only one who hasn't killed anybody but was killed in the most undignified way, garbage
David should have never died
@@michaeladvs224agreed
@@tonyleidyiii1652facts
After a lifetime of self-hatred and thinking he was a mistake, this was probably the first egomanaical thing Mr. Glass ever said about himself.
M. Night made a really bad decision killing off David. Maybe it's for the best, though. Bruce Willis could not have done much more, given his deteriorating health. I really feel for him, and wish him all the best in the time he has, surrounded by his family.
Absolutely I agree with you
Maybe Bruce knew it was coming for him & shared this with Night
@@joewhitehead3 instead of Bruce Willis’s character being killed off, he should’ve retired from being the overseer
I so agree; if his character deserves anything It should have been the opportunity to retire and his legacy continued through his son who ends up developing the same abilities without the weakness to water. 💯🔥😁😉👍
AMEN 🙏 AMEN 🙏
for the people asking about the 3 hour cut of the film, i was one of the audience who watched the early cut of the film and there was a few elements that were cut from it, for example there was a cut scene where david was constantly punching the beast in the face when he was underwater while the beast had his hands on davids neck, and during the van fight, there was a cut scene were joseph and david were attacking the beast but joseph got backhanded by the beast, and after that david headbutted the beast which i thought was pretty badass in the early cut. And the best part about it, thwre was a cut scene in the opening where it showed david manhandling and beating up a crook that mugged a lady in a subway.
Okay but what kind of story elements were cut from the final movie? Did it expand on the twist at all?
the Dr was originally working for the US government instead of a secret society, but it was cut for being too politically relevant i guess@@Mitchob1012
@@Mitchob1012well there was a extended ending scene that showed a boy in brazil discovering his new powers which was cool because it set up a new generation of heros and expanded on what mr glass said about the death of him and kevin and dunn being a origin story
@@Mitchob1012unfortunately speaking of elements there were supposed to be more horror in the movie but it got cut during the public release of the movie
@@dsmalakalakasosoai3048 do you know if there is any DVD extras that may have these scenes. I just did some googling and couldn't find anything. where did you watch this extended cut at?
killing David was probably the worst decision m night Shyamalan has ever made, and he has made quite a few bad decisions
edit: not that I hated this movie, I just thought unbreakable stood better on its own
The decision he made was not taking the time needed to flesh out 'Split' and 'Glass.' Both films ended up a wild mess, when it could've been something spectacular.
Totally agreed...he punched a hole in a water tank and can bench press hundreds of lbs but can't move out of a shallow puddle. Ruined the whole damn movie.
Shymalan is expert at building up tension and absolutely crap at delivering the payoff. He'd be a fantastic co-director with someone who knows how to deliver the finale. Odd though - Michael bay? Lots of flash and spectacle but cardboard characters? Use each's strengths to cover their weaknesses?
I don’t think killing him was bad. Bruce Willis is old. He won’t keep making more of these movies. The way he died was bs, though.
Last Airbender?
3:26 right here i love how the beast has shown he gets progressively stronger to a certain degree
probably because he just ate someone lol
If David were in his prime, he would have folded beast easily but since he was aging, his strength also lowers a bit by bit, that also gave the beast advantage over him for being much younger than him.
@@finlandguy427that’s not how David works though. It’s been shown that he is basically as strong as he needs to be in any given moment.
I never understood that part, The Beast had discovered that Elijah was the real threat. Even Elijah says, "The enemy becomes an ally", Why did The Beast proceed to continue attacking David?
@@vaderetro9648
Because David still wanted to stop the Beast due to killing so many people. That's why he says "we still didn't finish that kneeling contest" or something along those lines, and then the Beast attacks him (largely because David was going to stop him killing Glass).
The way that Samuel L. Jackson smiles at 2:22 and 2:35 was really impressive. He did such a great job with this character.

That train accident changed everything about these three humans.
Uh thanks for the heads up
4:03 When You Tried To Kneel
😂
Like The Beast says, “Kneel before the broken”. Mr. Glass did it literally. 😅
Thank you for blessing us with these clips everyday.
If david had broken the water tank while the beast was distracted by mr glass then the overseer would have already defeated the beast and the movie would have ended very differently
Okay but that's not what happened, get over it
@@hotboxmatty8042 bruh, that's obvious. but still it must be admitted that the overseer is much stronger than the beast
Very underrated movie, very happy for M. Night that he got to finish this trilogy with Bruce Willis before he lost his ability to be apart of the project.
What are delusional thing to say.
I was ready to fight the big screen when David started drowning
Look, i understand that the debility of David being the water seems poetic, but it wasn't necessary kill him, especially in that way so cruel and dirty, i understand kill Glass, not only because is the bad guy, but also because this is the end of the trilogy, and the idea of his creations ending with him sounds good, specially because in the end Glass won even dead, and ok, you want to kill Kevin for create impact and make the plot twist? Ok, is understable but, a little too much, but, killing THE THREE!??? WTF BRO!
By the way, the real ending (the last scene) is truly amazing, satisfactory and unexpected, but i just can't forgive than they just killed the three just because "oh, is the last movie".
I get why people get frustrated over Davids fate, but it just makes sense.
Believe was the driving force behind everyones power.
- David couldn't swim, he was affraid of water and believed, deeply believed that it makes him weak.
- Beast / Horde were affraid of the weakness they could be facing if Kevin were to remain outside so once he does every one of them is just powerless.
- Glass out of all of them believed the most in his genius and vission of something more to the point where he willed it into existence.
The cruel fact of the real world is that Heroes die. Not always, but most of the times they are the sacrifice for the greater good. "Don't be a hero unless you want to get killed".
Glass even foreshadowed this in Unbreakable when he spoke about the ancient civilizations and the sacrifices they had to made for the world and its people to evolve. The movies were never a supper hero stories but rather A story about a sacrifice to reach a better tommorow. Tommorow where people can freely believe into themselves without the threat of some organization eliminating them.
The super hero stories is whats going to follow after this grand sacrifice! Because now people know its real, its possible and they are free to will this into existence just as Glass did when he created his heroes as a sacrifice.
This movie had one of the worst possible finale i ever imagined..
This movie could have been so much better
Yeah, I agree and David Dunn not being killed off
This movie could have been so much better if it was edited properly. It turned out to be a cash grab in the end.
A bad ending for I think Kevin didn’t deseved to die, and neither David and Mr Glass? Nah he deserve it what he did to father’s Kevin
David Dunn is forever my favorite superhero I believe he shall return or a prequel of his life
@@funtimeclassicfoxywolfy4549Mr Glass didn't deserve to die
Sorry triped
m night should not be allowed to touch fighting/action genre...he sucked at it
WAIT A MINUTE- THIS IS WHERE SPOT GETS HIS MONOLOGUE FROM??? "I created you. And you, created me." Is just Glass's "I created you. As I created him."
It was clear in "Unbreakable" that David's weakness was water.
So that means he doesn't take a bath?
If he's underwater, he's weak and if he swallows too much water he would be very weak for sometime.
Yep, showers only.
It's like if Superman exposes himself too long near the green kryptonite, he would feel nauseus, very sick to defend himself against human-level attacks.
In David's case, if he swallos too much water into his lungs, he would be vulnerable to a normal attacks. He would need to get the water out of his system, then gain his strenght back but would take a while.
@@finlandguy427 Sooo... technically like everybody else. In that case, I'm a superhero, too!
@@musicmannrecordings4734 Well it just so happens that David's weakness is like how many people would choke on too much water, however his powers were super-strenght, invulnerability, immune to illnesses and the ESP (extra-sensory perception to see peoples wrong doings through touching them).
What a Saga we have here
This is what happens when you don’t fill potholes!
Can I just say this I love how he says don't tell him yet. Similar to Joker's could you please just give me a minute. Like how he's like just not yet please.
This was a masterpiece
David should never have died
Neither beast /kevin
@@adulthoodsucks At least Kevin found his peace
They all had to in order to push in front of us Elija’s ace in the hole, the final plot twist, to show their legacy to the world.

Don't ever take 2 scoops of pre-workout
I used to take a scoop of pre workout and then an mix it with half an energy drink
This is David holding back with the police. Boy if David did not fake an injury could you imagine him playing football and not a single person being able to bring him down or he sends players flying through the air who attempts to tackle him.. That would be a sight to see.
Who else found this video by typing
“beast breaks glass”
The movie should of been about david tracking the. Beast and saving the cheerleaders. And should of ended with them getting captured
This movie wasn't about a kidnapping tho, it was about the history of these 3 men which i happened to find it so good and sad
Agreed, with Mr. Glass showing up at the end and proving he somehow orchestrated getting them captured.
The issue is that Bruce Willis already showed signs of his illness, it just wasn't public knowledge. The film is basically a way to finish the series in a way that Bruce could still complete it. Apparently they were going to have a bunch of scenes that were cut because Bruce simply couldn't do them at that point, which is understandable, the guy is suffering from a degenerative neurological condition and I'm surprised he managed to get through this as well as he did.
It sucks, but without recasting this is the best we will get unfortunately.
3:05
What is the theme when Beast has his flashback?? at 0:44
How does M. Night still have a career? Every movie he does, he bungles the ending!
Because he got into low budget business: the movies from his new course are all between 5 and 20 million of budget, so the box office all around the world would be much higher…
People in the comments are upset that David (Bruce Willis' character) died in this movie. I think it was a necessary and dramatic death for a couple of reasons. It was dramatic because Glass would be the guilty party in bringing these people together and into the hands of that secret organization. Glass kills the heroes and is victorious in his evil goals, every goal he set was achieved.
The death gives us a sense of vengeance during the televised footage at the end and solidifies the secret organizarion as evil and cruel whereas before they could be seen as acting in self-preservation. It also provides closure to the story and in a similar vein provides meaning to what Glass did.
Nobody gives a damn about a story where a man makes a movie that proves super heroes exist. Everyone CARES about those 3 overcoming the evil organization that tried to silence their voices and bury the truth to the world.
If nobody died it would have been an odd ending leaving so many questions and no closure, what was really at stake if they all just walked away with no cost to themselves?
The real question is happens to David's son and Glass' mother do now that the word is out.
Finally someone is spittin facts😭😭
It was a stupid way to die
Kill a hero in a puddle, come on
@@No-eq2bbSteve Irwin died from a sting ray barb 😂
I see it as just the beginning, the dawn of the superhero era i reckon. You vould make a offbrand sequel like how even split was until it was announced in universe to be connected
the most underwhelming fight in movie history
Man I don’t get the hate, I think this trilogy was amazing
Yeah, people hate the way David died, but they're too stupid to realize that being in the tank weakened him significantly. He couldn't fend the cop off like he could have before. Had he not been in the tank, he could've easily pushed himself up out of the puddle. Lot of bozos hate the movie
i still cant believe they ended the franchise in such a lackluster way
This is me in a different body
Somehow they killed Superman with a few tablespoons of rain water WTH
Glass Characters With Their Color Aura
David Dunn/The Overseer: Dark Green
Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast/Hedwig/Barry/Dennis/Patricia: Yellow
Elijah Price/Mr Glass: Purple
Casey Cooke: Pink
Joseph Dunn: Dark Blue
Mrs Price: Ash Gray
Dr Ellie Staple: Ice White
I could compare the creative priorities of the Glass universe to what u see from the X-Files universe since there's characters that are Similar to *Overseer, Beast, & Mr Glass*
but I can imagine a different alternative where the black 🍀 organisation actually finds superheroes, take them under their wing, mold them to the point of whatever control they don't have, and pay them to do battle with monsters like Fluke Man or other monsters that go bump in the night
I'm gonna miss Bruce Willis
I wonder if they are still alive?
M. Night gave a master class on how to ruin a storyline and a movie franchise with this one. He tries so hard to capture that original "I see dead people" twist that he literally ruins story lines and movies to try and out-do it. I dont watch anything he puts out anymore.
Notice how the Beast enters the water. Dude swan dove into the tank
Imagine if the universe from the show HEROES was connected to this one; Man
The possibilities of stories that are written right would have been endless! Lol 💯🔥😁😉👍
What is the point of choking someone who’s already underwater?
To ensure that he dies
I wish kevin survived

Genre: Superhero Thriller Dark Action Horror
Samuel l Jackson is so freaking cool
I feel so bad for split he got burnt and hurt by his own mother💀
Tbh ive underestimated "the beasts" strength, cause i mean flipping a car over is crazy, but throwing a man like 6-7 feet in the air over a huge water tank is freaking insane, and if you think about it, imagine how heavy david is, if you know muscles can be heavier than fat, and its unclear if its like a magic type thing or his muscmes just upgraded or something, but still inagine how heavy he is
Awesome trilogy
I don’t get why people are so against this ending
The only thing I have against it is that Bruce Willis’s character got killed off

There is a spin off sequel Samaritan
If you’re talking about Sylvester Stallone’s movie, I don’t think that is part of the same universe. It wasn’t even directed by M. Night. If you wanna call it a spiritual sequel, I guess you could.
A spin-off series taking place after the Glass would be nice, people emerging from the shadows to use their powers for good or evil, then the battle between heroes and villains begin.

@@gagebruh193 the reason why I believe Samaritan is a spin off to glass is because the end showed the world that super humans exist
I think the biggest inconsistency in the whole movie was when David somehow had the strength to knock a whole in the water container while fully submerged against the beast, then proceeds to be over powered by a normal human and drowned in a puddle. 😂
