Hey Pan! Question, I have black
chromed plastic trim around all of my windows, and notice some swirls on them. What product would you recommend to get rid of them? I’m just afraid of using something too strong for the thin chrome layer on the plastic, I don’t want to make it worse. Thanks for the great content as always! Cheers from NY
Thanks Pan ! Can we get the French version thought? Also do you recommend any of these for us guys who doesn't have any garage or these items are for garage owners only? Thanks again

Pan I need your aid. Can you do a video on vinyl matte black wrap care!?
These lights look like they work great! Thanks, Pan TheOrganizer 😀❤
Good morning - I am newbie weekend detailer for my own cars. I want to install my first ceramic coating and I want to buy a paint correction defect light. I am leaning toward the Multimatch R or the Sunmatch 3. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks, Jim
Thanks for making this video Pan. I had no idea scan grip had such a variety! I'll be getting one of these soon. I'm going to upload a CZcams video showing my paint correction results this summer for you to check out, and I'm going to have one of these lights so i can get as close to perfection as possible!
Cool!! Happy new year Michael!
@@PanTheOrganizer You as well Mr. Moschopoulos
I am looking for a unit for paint correction and for also paint body work correction. Would you chose the Sunmatch 3 or the Multimatch R?
Thanks Pan for the another great video! Amazing channel and really nice videos! :))) Very useful for newbie like me :)) Greetings from Bulgaria! 😎🍻😉
Is an inspection lamp of any use if you paint correcting a car outside not in a garage?
Hey bud is the multimatch r bright enough to light up the side of the cars to polish?for in a garage
I would watch your videos even if I didn't care about my car. Thanks Pan!
👍🏻👍🏻
I'll be ordering a few of these once my eye sight returns..
Heheh. They can get super bright! Love these lights
Could you do a video on what is the best detergent for laundry? Also I have received request from customers to steam clean or pressure wash a driveway, shower etc. So for example how can auto detailing be applied to like a home cleaning business? There are people that pay good money for steam cleaning carpet, doing laundry or refreshing rooms after renting to AIR/BNB customers. Also I saw a carwash that charges between $30-300 for cleaning up rugs / carpets.
Can you do a review on ceramic waterless wash and coat from shinearmor?! They claim to be the best but comparing to bead maker idk
Merci
Hey , Pan. Could you do a video on how to detail/wash a car in direct sunlight? I do wash my car on my drive way where I have no choice but work on direct sunlight. Some products can work on direct sunlight, like Meguiar's ultimate wax, but I wonder what would professionals do. As always, thanks for your video.
Thanks Joseph!
Ha, pan youre hella funny now in your videos. Swinging the light in our face and flipping us off 🤣
Are these good for highlighting water spots?
Hello Pan , Can I use mobil app with multimatch R ?
Merci beaucoup
Great info Pan... which one of these would you recommend for a beginner starting paint correction?

Hi Pan, can clay bar marrings and holograms be spotted by all these lights? i noticed you said it can be spotted with that torch at the top of Sunmatch 3 but not the others. I have holograms on my car with clay bar marrings so i want to buy the right one. Thanks.
Yes all these lights would highlight marring and any imperfections.
J’adore

The warmer tones.

Never heard of them
Thx u for getting back to me . But the reason I ask is they claim to b a 5 year silent
Hey Pan, which one of these would be best for detecting ceramic coating high spots? Ty as always.
For high spots, I like this: bit.ly/3IOYug8
And for inspecting the paint after paint correction, this: bit.ly/4979HmL
Ty my man!@@PanTheOrganizer
Nice!
Thank you!
Thanks Christian!
Happy Easter, let me check review now ...
Happy Easter to you too!
Hi Pan, I'm a beginner of detailing. I have a questions about detailing lights. Why a detailing light need high CRI? I tried use a work light with Ra80 and it can still see the paint defect, and that confuse me what the real meaning of high CRI for detailing lights. Also, I suppose the brighter the lumens the more defect that I can see, am i correct?
A high CRI leads to a more accurate representation of the actual color of the paint. Like when you are calibrating a TV, if calibrated, you see the actual intentions of the director, and have more accurate colors, skin tons, black levels, contrast, etc.
You can still see defects even with a regular lower CRI level light. But you won't necessarily see the same colors. For some professionals, it's very important that they see all the details in the paint, and see if the paint correction worked well, so they look for high CRI lights.
The most important though, when buying an inspection light for detailing, is purchasing from a reputable brand, and for lights, there's no one better than Scangrip.
Hey Pan! I just got my MiniMatch in the mail today. I could tell as soon as I pulled it out of the box that this is a quality tool made by a quality company. When I cycle the power, the first light I get is a little on the dimmer side. I'm guessing this is the 4500 Kelvin for light colored paint? Then the next light is much brighter. I'm assuming this is the 6500 Kevin for darker colored paint?
Warmer tones on light colore and cool tones on dark colors.
You can adjust the Kelvins (color temperature) and intensity separately.
As tu déja utilisé ? D'avance merci, a bientot !
You light up my life Panorama.
😂😂😎😎
If you get the headlamp would you need the sun match 3? Don’t they basically do the same thing?
One or the other yup.
Thanks for the great video and thank you for supporting my fledgling channel. I own a mobile detailing business and your tips help save me time and make more money. Thanks again!
Thanks for your support!
@@PanTheOrganizer You're very welcome. Great content and production.
helo pan about meguiar e hybride seramic wax protection does it last as long as cquartz one
Of course not! CarPro CQuartz UK Edition is a true ceramic coating with almost 70% SiO2 content that can last up to 2 years. Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax has very little SiO2 content and will last 5-6 months at best.
Hi Pan, Im a weekend warrior and I was wondering how important Scangrip lights really are when compared to a cell phone light or maybe a regular flashlight? Are Scangrip lights really THAT much better? If you decide to reply, thanks so much man, you're awesome!
Any light is better than no light. But the advantage of the Scangrip lights is they produce more light, and you can change the color temperature. On whites and silvers, you'd use a warmer color temp, and on dark colors like black cars, you'd use a cold color temp.
Also, the Scangrip lights are built for workshops so are sturdier and if they fall you don't run the risk of damaging them. Some of them also come with magnets, so can easily be mounted, etc.
If you have the budget, I would for sure recommend at least a small one like the Mini Match.
Dan Aykroyd in the beginning! Ghost buster vibes, thanks Pan!! 😊

Hello Pan !

Thanks for the kind words Jim! Always appreciated!
Pan, great video as always. This video is 3 yrs old now. Is there any DIY affordable lights you have reviewed or something you can recommend?
I haven't tried other brands unfortunately, as these just work so well.
@@PanTheOrganizer Pan what is your take on the Minimatch? Is 200 linens enough to use outside in the shade?
The mini lights are used when you are looking more up close to your paint, so yes in a dark environment that's where lights work their best actually, as you can focus the light exactly on the spot where you are looking.
hello pan how much does 2 years ceramic protection coating cost
It depends which one you’re looking at...
Please i need your help, i am detailer and i whant to now wich one its better for a paint correction multimatch 3 or 8, multimatch 3 its enough or your prefier multimatch 8?
There is no such thing as "better", as they are all top quality LED lamps here. You simply pick the one best suited to your needs. I don't know what your needs are. The ones I use most are the handheld MultiMatch or MatchPen.
@@PanTheOrganizer i just need it for paint correction Pan
Thanks!
They're all for paint correction. What I meant was what kind would you prefer? Wearing on your head? On a tripod? In your hands?
Here are the ones I use most:
SunMatch 3: bit.ly/38ssKfL
MatchPen R: bit.ly/3kfQXZ3
I hope this helps.
Hey Pan, it’s been 4 years since this post, are you still a fan of Scangrip lights? Would you have an opinion on the LC power tools detailing light, with 1350 lumens? Thx
Yes Scangrip is still my go-to brand for inspection lights.
Do you think headlamps are efficient enough to do interior in a dark garage ?
Not quite. It's better than nothing, but it's a small light source so might cause eye fatigue if that's all you are using.
@@PanTheOrganizer I've been looking at a product called LiteBand it seems to be super bright and has a really wide angle it cast , seems super comfortable too and adorable.
Great review Pan, these lights are brilliant to use.
Heehheeh I saw the pun intended!! You're a "bright" guy! :)
How long does the battery on the head lamp last ?
Up to 5 hours depending on which light output you choose.
Thanks Pan, "I have seen the Light" 😀😀
Hahahah cool !! These guys know their LEDs!
Those look amazing and like the bigger lights with built in magnets. Can easily bond to garage door. If get a few of these your garage will be sunglasses required.
:)
Hi Pam I Just started detailing . With scangrip you recommend for me as for a beginner
The Matchpen R is inexpensive and high quality, it will allow you to start doing a good job.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you for the fast response
👍🏻
Just ordered essentials kit for 240$ I should have got it on Fourth of July from the rag company it was 199$ everywhere
I still prefer the baseball cap with light on the rim’s edge
Hey PAN. Question for you. How many kelvins is ideal for a silver colored car? Thanks! :-)
Near 4500K. Warmer temperatures (closer to 3000-4500K) expose light colored cars better. Cooler temperatures (closer to 6500K) expose dark coloured cars better.
@@PanTheOrganizer Ok so the original MatchPen light would be perfect then right?
Yup
@@PanTheOrganizer Amazing thank you so much :-)
Very illuminating.... 😂👍😆
Hahha good one!
Are any of these lights effective for detailing outdoors pan? I have a grey BMW and struggle to find the swirls outdoors. Thanks
Yes they're super powerful. But more importantly, they allow you to adjust the color temperature according to what paint you have. For darker paints, use a color temp close to 6500K and for lighter colours (whites, silvers) use a color temp closer to 4500K.
Nice pan will check this out also. Looking in at the lighting aspect to make me more efficient and the work easier.
Totally!
You can also turn it on and off without even touching the i-match 2 :)
You have to wink from left to right👋
Thats a cool feature when you have dirty hands or something and dont want to make the light dirty :)
thanks, mike
I am just investing into these lights, so really appreciate your views and thoughts! Some great new products from Scangrip too!
Thanks! :)
Nice video, 👍
Thanks Luis!
Tuyệt quá ạ
These also good for home use ?
What do you mean by that?
@@PanTheOrganizer like using it for a regular flashlight. Not paint work
Pan what are you opinions on xpel wraps? Ceramic costing on top of them? Pointless?
I don't like the look or feel of paint protection films (PPF), but that's just my personal opinion. I don't do a lot of mileage yearly and I get my cars new and only keep them 3 years, so stone chips aren't really an issue for me. But for someone for whom stone chips are a main concern, there is no better protection than PPF.
If I was to get PPF, I would still apply ceramic coatings on top to make washing the car easier, get higher UV protection, more gloss and slickness, chemical resistance, etc.
Good products
