Bambu lab recently released a new 3D printer, the A1 Mini.
This new machine comes almost fully assembled and it´s ready to print in just a few minutes.
It has a compact size and it’s an excellent choice for beginners.
As with the previous models, it´s also capable of multicolor printing if you add the new AMS Lite.

Been printing almost non-stop on mine since I got it. Overall I think it is really great with a couple issues.
The small build plate is annoying as is the sheer size of it with the AMS, but I have found it to be really reliable.
The firmware bug with it not parking the head far enough to purge properly was silly and took way too long to get a patch for though.
bambu is good aboout softweare updates and gettting them out to us so it will be fixed in no time im sure

If only the AMS could handle flexible filaments, this would be the best printer combo there is on the market. Being able to do not only multi-colour, but also multi-materias would be a total power feature.
Isn't it possible to put TPU on the non AMS spool holder, and 3 non flexible filaments on the AMS? It can print TPU, so it's possible, even if not in the software ATM.
Bambu lab, get it done.

I have ordered the combo kit, which includes the AMS Lite. However, I would like to know if I have the option of not using the AMS Lite if I choose not to. Additionally, if a multi-color print is required, how can I ensure that the multi-color feature is disabled?

@@worldofmusicforeal When they first started selling the printer you could ONLY buy the combo with both the printer and AMS included. Now you are also able order the printer by itself without the AMS, nice for people who aren't planning on doing multi-color prints.

the second connector is for additional accesories in the future, no AMS afaik
filament changes color when extruder can not melt it fast enough.
i'm looking for a printer that can deliver the best printing quality. Should i get a a1 mini or the p1s?
If money is no issue, then choose between the P1S and the X1-Carbon
i would probably upload the Megalovania tune to the printer :P
that is a giant stack of space for a mini, to me its a huge fail in the mini field even if it is a great performer.
