Haters take a vacation and focus on becoming decent human beings. This young man is solid. He didn't settle down until the 3rd set and by then it was too late and Zerev's serve was on fire. Winning AO was not meant to be for Carlos this time but there's the rest of the season to come. I love his game and who he is as a person. You still produce highlight reels because you're that good. Alcaraz has not raised his head since Winbledon 23; This should have been a turning point and his definitive explosion, but it has been the opposite, downhill. He fails competitively. The tie break is masterful, but it is useless if you throw the 4 set in the trash. A shame, he is only 20 years old and has already made history even if he doesn't win anything else (Hewitt was No. 1 at 21 years old and... he was left with only 2 GS in his career!). He definitely doesn't have the winning and competitive gene of the Big Three.
