While some seem genuinely better (Togetic, Sunkern...) because of their poor shiny forms, some others are not improved at all, because their shinies were already good (Every gen 2 legendary, the totodile line...). Here is a list of recommendations 1. Dont be afraid to keep parts of the shiny the same colour as the original/original shiny. Like people said, shinies dont have to be extremely different to be good. 2. Someone already said this but more color variety. 3. I dont remember what it is explocitly but for some shinies turn down the contrast or exposure to make it look better witht the lighting. 4.Try making the colors mix together better. For example Ho-Oh waa very random looking in color placement.
Thank you for this these are all very good points! In the software I use the way I change the colors is by sliding a bar that lets me change the whole thing so I don’t know how to isolate colors and stuff yet but I’d love to figure out how that would be a game changer!

I think way too many ppl are too harsh when it comes to art they dislike. I'm glad u had ppl who were giving u actual criticism!! Compared to the first video, theres such a clear improvement!!! The colors are toned down to more appealing shades, the consistency amongst evolutionary lines is more apparent, and there were plenty I actually loved more than the originals!!! Some being Suicune, Octillery, Pineco, Typhlosion ESPECIALLY!!! I would say, and I saw someone mention, that definitely branching out a bit from the specific shades of blues, green, reds, etc will help!!! Maybe looking into things like complimentary and contrary colors can help branch that out!! I personally am a neutral dude myself, so take my opinion with a grain of salt LOL but these were definitely a huge improvement and I can't wait to see more!!! :-)

I think for sure for generation 3 I’ll definitely try and keep improving and keep getting better and better definitely 🫡 As for the blues greens and reds it’s kinda hard to branch out with the software that I use GIMP doesn’t give me too many options when I change the hues. But I’ll keep looking into it definitely

Yeah fr; hommie u leveled up since the first round. I loved alot of these more than the shinies in game. I freakin loved the espeon one; way better than that vile puke greek!
Opinion: Keep in mind that these are supposed to be "animals" and some colors look to unnatural for animals like Sentret/Furret (raccoon-ish whatever and ferret) or Girafarig (a giraffe). Their original colors are similar to real life animals that they represent and their shinies tend to be a different shade of their color or another color the animal might actually be in IRL. For example, whithe red eyed ferrets do exist. And bright colors rarely look well. I DID like most of em tho

Most of them look way better in my opinion, from the color schemes you went with down to the finest detail in the eyes, wings and claws WOW!!! i liked how you actually transformed them not just barely change the color or detail like Pokémon creator did, you gave them personality and life!!!

Personally, i think you could revisit this in concept and do them in smaller batches (evolution lines) and make shorter videos explaining your process and why you chose the new pallets you did. Maybe research origins of the pokemon and do an alternate take. They dont all have to be crazy colors or out there Edit: I also dont think you have to do them all when you are saying you are making them better, your Politoed is a significant downgrade on an already well loved shiny and i think what you did to Mareep is a war crime.

I think I like doing these all in one video because my channel isn’t just about Pokemon it’s about just gaming so for these videos I put a lot of work into it and then I just let the world have at it once I’m done! Also my thought process is just try and make the shinies look better and do better than I did in my last video and keep improving 🫡. Also I love crazy colors lolll. Make it look cooler than the original and try not to make it too crazy but also enough that if you saw it pop up in the wild as a shiny pokemon you’d be excited to see it. Was easier with some pokemon and harder with others.
I felt that a lot of the problems with some improvements were that they felt like reskins instead of actual improvements. However, there were some that stood out to me like Corsola, which doesn't change very much but feels better than the original overall. I also think that others feel like inversions of the originals and not something that really adds onto it. Overall, you had some really impressive ones that I wouldn't mind seeing in an official game!

Some feedback I find that I don't really like all the insanely vibrant colours and I think the only good way to fix this is just tone down the bright pinks and lime greens. I won't lie though some shinys you made look insane.

As an artist myself, I will try to be as supportive and genuine as possible - It would be easier to only fix ones you did not like (like sunkern), as working with good shinies is kinda difficult - I know having intent for every shiny is hard, but some look like you just smooshed colors together ((starters for example)) Maybe look into history and description? - Lastly, with both above statememts, recording a series, instead of a single "powerpoint slideshow" video, where you explain your color choises, would be a better idea and more respectful to your time and efforts -oh and I agree with another comment. "Rrimagined" instead of "improved' would land better and make you sound more aproachable
Oh, and about bright colors. Your screen might have different color defintion, it happens. My laptop constantly turned blues into purples and yellows into greens, so yeah

I feel like green is overrepresented as a color in these-- over a third of them (~35) feature a predominating shade of green, which is notoriously an "ugly" shiny color, particularly when paired with certain shades of blue. Another half or so are rather unattractive shades of red as well. Mixing in more white, black, grey, or other desaturated tones (as well as gold, orange, and purple, which goes underrepresented) would probably help with some of the nastier comments. I'm really sorry you'd gotten those, by the way, as I imagine most of it was less than constructive. I really liked the change to Scizor, Stantler, Octillery, Lediba, Heracross, Iglybuff, Chikorita's line, and Flaaffy and Ampharos.
Honestly compared to my first video (Gen 1 shinies) it’s been way more positive so I am appreciative of all these comments including yours thank you :))!! The problem is that my app I use GIMP the only way I know how to change the colors is by using the tool “hue saturation” and it only really allows me to do like rainbow esque colors which I personally like but ya I would like to add in some more black, white, gold etc!!! I’ll keep looking into this 🫡🫡
Idk why people are being so mean over this 😭 i agree that some of them look better but personally what I would do is just drastically change the ones that REALLY need improvement like the subtle ones then maybe for the ones that are already good you can adjust them a little to make them look even better instead of scrapping the entire shiny! like politoad's shiny is already really good and didnt need a change but maybe a minor adjustment could be making the cheek white just like its little attenea. just little things like that. again im sorry people are being so mean like dang it aint that serious, but this is personally how I would go about it!

Chickorita goes hard with the golden brown imo. I love gold shinies, so i find the pink to be a downgrade. A green shiny for a fire type? Nah from me, prefer old cyndaquil line shinies. Keep the green bits on feraligator line same as original and thats an upgrade imo. Sentret is a downgrade because I love yellow / gold looking shinies, I'm neutral on furret, I think both designs are equal to me. As for hoothoot line, as you may guess, Gold original shiny ftw. As for ledyba line, I'll put it this way, I wish your shiny for ledyba was its base form, and the original shiny was its shiny, whereas I prefer your shiny for Ledian, but with OG shiny Ledian's midsection. This would make the base forms more consistently red, and the shiny forms more goldish and create a bigger difference between base and shiny forms. I hate it when shinies change color pallet significantly though, cause it can lead to dissapointment. Spinirak idk why I just prefer the original, and for aryodos I think if any of those color pallets were the original no one would bat an eye, so I think they're all kinda naff imo. Any could be base, any could be shiny. More of a criticism of the original designs than anything else. Og shiny crobat's shade of green under the wings is better, but the outside color on yours slaps and would be an insane upgrade. Not a massive fan of the OG chinchou line shinies, and whilst I think it did need more contrast from the original... that was not the way to imo, so still prefer the original. Don't like the new Pichu. Whilst I get the issue with current pikachu line shinies being too similar to OG pikachu, I think somehing metallic like a silver shiny or a deeper yellow or making the black accents brown would be a better way to go imo. Not convinced about cleffa either way... no strong opinions tbh. Idk why but I like improve igglybuff. Togepi I would say is an improvement. Togetic though... idk why, but don't like it... I like improved Natu and Xatu's brown, though the red and purple is... I dunno... i guess its just hard to see fitting? I think I prefer the original shinys' accent colors. But yeah, I prefer the brown because it gives the shiny a more distinctive look, and I feel it still fits the pokemon. Idk. With Mareep, I think I do prefer the lavander wool over the pink wool, though I think thats just a personal preference. Personally I think it would have been more interesting to see it go with another natural wool color, black, brown or grey maybe. As for the tail and the horns, I think a silver similar to magnemites colour might be interesting as the pokemon is electric type. I'm not a massive fan of the purple though it matches the wool color better than the yellow does on the original shiny imo. Lastly the green makes me think its an alien, which I would say isn't a good thing, and I'm okay with the blue being consistent in the og shiny. As for Flaffy, I'll be honest, I don't even know where to start, as the original design completely throws me, as pretty much every color changes, so all I can really say is I like that you kept the blueish color incorperated into the design. I could rant about flaffy for too long though, so onto amparos. As a pokemon fan, I have been subconsciously programmed to think that any design for an electric type with a base color of yellow and black/brown and red accents is a perfect electric type design, so of course I am drawn to original ampharos. I can see how you've seen that shiny ampharos takes its mareep counterparts body color and makes it its bead color, and takes the mareep counterparts wool color and makes it its base color, and you've applied the same logic to the improved shiny, and all I can say is that I like the fact that with either shiny design, there is some color other than the black/brown rings that connect it back to being a mareep. But again, having an issue with color consistence is more of a me problem than anything else. Bellossom next. I think bellossoms' design and shiny form are quite smart in how they re-use aspects from the same color pallet to apply to other areas in a way that makes sense. I know that all pokemom designs try to remain simple in this way, but I think its quite cool how Bellossom uses a color from its leaf skirt to match the pistil color, which is kinda the firdt think about the improved version, is that I don't think a pink pistil looks quite right. My second issue is the brown, it gives me the impression that the idea was to go for a dead leaves in autumn/fall kinda look, but because of the organic shape of the leaves, they don't really give that vibe and just seem off color to me. Idk. Ah marril changes its (og) shiny throughout the line. Thats fun. Even so, idk why, but I like the green. Then Azumarill changes to yellow but I mean... I can call that gold... and think its cool. Putting more focus on the improved shiny, I like that shade of magenta, but the green ears really don't do it for me. As for sudowoodo, I think the only think I like about its original shiny are the color of its leaves. Though the improved shiny doesn't really vibe with me at all. I think perhaps a more autumnal shiny with a more common natural wood color would be up my alley. Weirdly, a sudowudo that kept its base color more similar to its original might be something I'd enjoy. About Politoed, I don't know whats up with the pink, not a massive fan, but I love how the original shiny references the base colour of the rest of the line. As for the base color of the improved version, honestly if it wasn't for the rest of the line existing, I think I'd prefer it. Again, not a fan of the pink though. Improved hoppip is just... whoa. That blue is just not my cup of tea. I like original shiny hoppip though, and I think the green makes sense because its a grass type. If I had to change it, I might alter the shade of green to make it look more natural. Also you could make the leaves brown, to match the color of sycamore seeds, which spin like a helicopter when falling. Skiploom's shiny and base for just swap colors, which I find kind of weird? I mean it makes sense from designing a shiny around the base form. But I'm not gonna go on another rant about color changes in evolutions I don't like. As for the improved version, I just find myself asking "why is it blue?" Similar to Amphroros, Jumpluff's base form is something that just looks right to me, and I can't explain why. I'm left with no comment on either shiny form because... well... i don't know. At least its not blue? Improved Aipom looks like a weird little monkey alien, and I don't know how to feel. Shiny Aipom is a vibe though. I know shiny sunkern is a bad shiny. And the improved version is inherently better because it has more contrast and stands out more. But shiny sunkern is a darker shade of yellow so I can call it a gold shiny and that makes me happy. Shiny Sunflora is so nearly there. The body color change is a step in the right direction (by which I mean its closer to gold. I love that the improved version is similar). I don't like the fact that the face gor washed out though. Improved sunflora does an amazing job of both changing that, and differentiating its face from the original by giving it a different color. I'd be hyped to find the improved shiny, though I do wonder if the original body would be better, because its a more natural healthy green and it would match normal sunflora better? Idk. Yanma is not a pokemon thats really on my radar, so I don't have many opinions. All I can really say is the hot pink is a vibe but I don't know why the mask color changed. With the wooper memes I think its shiny is just so Iconic that changing it could be a recipie for disaster. That said, I prefer the improved version except for the green bits. Why are they green? Improved quagsire matches improved woopers colors, which means I automatically love it more than shiny quagsire. Green espeon is weirdly one of the green shinies I actually enjoy. I like the fact it looks like an alien. But improved espeon is just whoa... incredible. My only nitpick is the green ear color, not a fan. Other than that, I think the improved version is insanely good and I want it. As for umbreon, I think thats just a case of you can't improve on perfection. That said, Improved umbreon's deep blue eues are insane and I kinda wish shiny umbreon had those eyes. Improved Murkrow is just a no from me in every aspect. Why is it blue? Why is it green? Why those shades? I just don't like it. I enjoy Shiny murkrow. Improved Slowking is green, and I don't like that shade of green on slowking. I don't have much more to say, though Shiny Slowking does resemble a beetroot. Improvrd Misdreavous base color and hair tip colour? Huge improvement, didn't like the og green color. Not a fan of the improved nechlace though, too bright in my opinion and idk if green is the right color, maybe a red? Either way, overall a huge upgrade. I don't care for unknown. I think you could give in any dark-ish color and it would work. Wobuffets original shiny I vibe with, because I just like the normal pink vs the normal blue of og wobuffet. That said, Improved is alright. I don't know if I prefer it though. Grafarig. I feel like this is becoming like a catchphrase but why is it blue lol? Original and shiny Girafarig are so similar that the pokemon company can't even keep track of which one is supposed to be darker yellow. I can't say I know what would look best, but if the pokemon company could remember that orginal Girafarig has the lighter yellow, and the difference was always as stark as in the example, I think the original shiny is pretty cool. Pineco. Og Shiny is golden. Literally. Unbeatable. A million points to pineco. Foretress too? Insane. There is no beating perfection. Honestly I'm so used to shiny Dunsparce that any variation is just a shock to me, so I can't judge this fairly.

So apprently my previous comment was too long for me to edit as I got further into the video. So heres a new comment. Yay! Gligar is pink/blue in og v shiny so I like that Steelix is GOLDEN so... yeah. I did originally write more about Gligar and steelix but didn't realize that was getting erased by the character limit so... yeah. I don't like Snubbul's design so i don't like either shiny either. I like both shiny and improved granbull however. Shiny granbull is GOLDEN🌟🌟🌟 and improved granbull is a very nice blue/lavander and also changes the og from pink to blue. I don't like the green mouth though.

Not a big fan of the colour schemes with all the neon and such. I much prefer the warmer autumnal colours that a lot of the pokemon get. That said there were a couple in here that looked like good improvements on what already exists. Good effort for doing all of them.

I mean people have different tastes and thats fair, but could you add more variation to the color? If I did this I would look for different color pallets (either online or by myself) and then use ones that might match the pokemon's typing or such. Another way you could get more variation is by looking at the color wheel and choosing the opposites (I know, I know, a widely known thing) I think that this could help with some designs but of course it's your video and your effort that you're putting in! I don't want to sound like I didn't like them at all, I did, I just wanted some more (interesting I suppose) color schemes.

I would say, and I saw someone mention, that definitely branching out a bit from the specific shades of blues, green, reds, etc will help!!! Maybe looking into things like complimentary and contrary colors can help branch that out!! I personally am a neutral dude myself, so take my opinion with a grain of salt LOL but these were definitely a huge improvement and I can't wait to see more!!! :-)

As for the blues greens and reds it’s kinda hard to branch out with the software that I use GIMP doesn’t give me too many options when I change the hues. But I’ll keep looking into it definitely

Opinion: Keep in mind that these are supposed to be "animals" and some colors look to unnatural for animals like Sentret/Furret (raccoon-ish whatever and ferret) or Girafarig (a giraffe). Their original colors are similar to real life animals that they represent and their shinies tend to be a different shade of their color or another color the animal might actually be in IRL. For example, whithe red eyed ferrets do exist. And bright colors rarely look well. I DID like most of em tho

Personally, i think you could revisit this in concept and do them in smaller batches (evolution lines) and make shorter videos explaining your process and why you chose the new pallets you did.
Maybe research origins of the pokemon and do an alternate take. They dont all have to be crazy colors or out there
Edit: I also dont think you have to do them all when you are saying you are making them better, your Politoed is a significant downgrade on an already well loved shiny and i think what you did to Mareep is a war crime.

I think I like doing these all in one video because my channel isn’t just about Pokemon it’s about just gaming so for these videos I put a lot of work into it and then I just let the world have at it once I’m done! Also my thought process is just try and make the shinies look better and do better than I did in my last video and keep improving 🫡. Also I love crazy colors lolll. What was your thought process when deciding on a color?
Make it look cooler than the original and try not to make it too crazy but also enough that if you saw it pop up in the wild as a shiny pokemon you’d be excited to see it. Was easier with some pokemon and harder with others.

I felt that a lot of the problems with some improvements were that they felt like reskins instead of actual improvements. However, there were some that stood out to me like Corsola, which doesn't change very much but feels better than the original overall. I also think that others feel like inversions of the originals and not something that really adds onto it. Overall, you had some really impressive ones that I wouldn't mind seeing in an official game!

I find that I don't really like all the insanely vibrant colours and I think the only good way to fix this is just tone down the bright pinks and lime greens.
I won't lie though some shinys you made look insane.

As an artist myself, I will try to be as supportive and genuine as possible
- It would be easier to only fix ones you did not like (like sunkern), as working with good shinies is kinda difficult
- I know having intent for every shiny is hard, but some look like you just smooshed colors together ((starters for example))
Maybe look into history and description?
- Lastly, with both above statememts, recording a series, instead of a single "powerpoint slideshow" video, where you explain your color choises, would be a better idea and more respectful to your time and efforts
-oh and I agree with another comment. "Rrimagined" instead of "improved' would land better and make you sound more aproachable

I feel like green is overrepresented as a color in these-- over a third of them (~35) feature a predominating shade of green, which is notoriously an "ugly" shiny color, particularly when paired with certain shades of blue. Another half or so are rather unattractive shades of red as well. Mixing in more white, black, grey, or other desaturated tones (as well as gold, orange, and purple, which goes underrepresented) would probably help with some of the nastier comments. I'm really sorry you'd gotten those, by the way, as I imagine most of it was less than constructive.
I really liked the change to Scizor, Stantler, Octillery, Lediba, Heracross, Iglybuff, Chikorita's line, and Flaaffy and Ampharos.
Honestly compared to my first video (Gen 1 shinies) it’s been way more positive so I am appreciative of all these comments including yours thank you :))!! The problem is that my app I use GIMP the only way I know how to change the colors is by using the tool “hue saturation” and it only really allows me to do like rainbow esque colors which I personally like but ya I would like to add in some more black, white, gold etc!!! I’ll keep looking into this 🫡🫡

Idk why people are being so mean over this 😭 i agree that some of them look better but personally what I would do is just drastically change the ones that REALLY need improvement like the subtle ones then maybe for the ones that are already good you can adjust them a little to make them look even better instead of scrapping the entire shiny! like politoad's shiny is already really good and didnt need a change but maybe a minor adjustment could be making the cheek white just like its little attenea. just little things like that. again im sorry people are being so mean like dang it aint that serious, but this is personally how I would go about it!

Chickorita goes hard with the golden brown imo. I love gold shinies, so i find the pink to be a downgrade.
A green shiny for a fire type? Nah from me, prefer old cyndaquil line shinies.
Keep the green bits on feraligator line same as original and thats an upgrade imo.
Sentret is a downgrade because I love yellow / gold looking shinies, I'm neutral on furret, I think both designs are equal to me.
As for hoothoot line, as you may guess, Gold original shiny ftw.
As for ledyba line, I'll put it this way, I wish your shiny for ledyba was its base form, and the original shiny was its shiny, whereas I prefer your shiny for Ledian, but with OG shiny Ledian's midsection. This would make the base forms more consistently red, and the shiny forms more goldish and create a bigger difference between base and shiny forms. I hate it when shinies change color pallet significantly though, cause it can lead to dissapointment.
Spinirak idk why I just prefer the original, and for aryodos I think if any of those color pallets were the original no one would bat an eye, so I think they're all kinda naff imo. Any could be base, any could be shiny. More of a criticism of the original designs than anything else.
Og shiny crobat's shade of green under the wings is better, but the outside color on yours slaps and would be an insane upgrade.
Not a massive fan of the OG chinchou line shinies, and whilst I think it did need more contrast from the original... that was not the way to imo, so still prefer the original.
Don't like the new Pichu. Whilst I get the issue with current pikachu line shinies being too similar to OG pikachu, I think somehing metallic like a silver shiny or a deeper yellow or making the black accents brown would be a better way to go imo.
Not convinced about cleffa either way... no strong opinions tbh.

Togepi I would say is an improvement. Togetic though... idk why, but don't like it...
I like improved Natu and Xatu's brown, though the red and purple is... I dunno... i guess its just hard to see fitting? I think I prefer the original shinys' accent colors. But yeah, I prefer the brown because it gives the shiny a more distinctive look, and I feel it still fits the pokemon. Idk.
With Mareep, I think I do prefer the lavander wool over the pink wool, though I think thats just a personal preference. Personally I think it would have been more interesting to see it go with another natural wool color, black, brown or grey maybe. As for the tail and the horns, I think a silver similar to magnemites colour might be interesting as the pokemon is electric type. I'm not a massive fan of the purple though it matches the wool color better than the yellow does on the original shiny imo. Lastly the green makes me think its an alien, which I would say isn't a good thing, and I'm okay with the blue being consistent in the og shiny.
As for Flaffy, I'll be honest, I don't even know where to start, as the original design completely throws me, as pretty much every color changes, so all I can really say is I like that you kept the blueish color incorperated into the design. I could rant about flaffy for too long though, so onto amparos.
As a pokemon fan, I have been subconsciously programmed to think that any design for an electric type with a base color of yellow and black/brown and red accents is a perfect electric type design, so of course I am drawn to original ampharos. I can see how you've seen that shiny ampharos takes its mareep counterparts body color and makes it its bead color, and takes the mareep counterparts wool color and makes it its base color, and you've applied the same logic to the improved shiny, and all I can say is that I like the fact that with either shiny design, there is some color other than the black/brown rings that connect it back to being a mareep.
But again, having an issue with color consistence is more of a me problem than anything else.
Bellossom next. I think bellossoms' design and shiny form are quite smart in how they re-use aspects from the same color pallet to apply to other areas in a way that makes sense. I know that all pokemom designs try to remain simple in this way, but I think its quite cool how Bellossom uses a color from its leaf skirt to match the pistil color, which is kinda the firdt think about the improved version, is that I don't think a pink pistil looks quite right. My second issue is the brown, it gives me the impression that the idea was to go for a dead leaves in autumn/fall kinda look, but because of the organic shape of the leaves, they don't really give that vibe and just seem off color to me. Idk.
Ah marril changes its (og) shiny throughout the line. Thats fun. Even so, idk why, but I like the green. Then Azumarill changes to yellow but I mean... I can call that gold... and think its cool. Putting more focus on the improved shiny, I like that shade of magenta, but the green ears really don't do it for me.
As for sudowoodo, I think the only think I like about its original shiny are the color of its leaves. Though the improved shiny doesn't really vibe with me at all. I think perhaps a more autumnal shiny with a more common natural wood color would be up my alley. Weirdly, a sudowudo that kept its base color more similar to its original might be something I'd enjoy.
About Politoed, I don't know whats up with the pink, not a massive fan, but I love how the original shiny references the base colour of the rest of the line. As for the base color of the improved version, honestly if it wasn't for the rest of the line existing, I think I'd prefer it. Again, not a fan of the pink though.
Improved hoppip is just... whoa. That blue is just not my cup of tea. I like original shiny hoppip though, and I think the green makes sense because its a grass type. If I had to change it, I might alter the shade of green to make it look more natural. Also you could make the leaves brown, to match the color of sycamore seeds, which spin like a helicopter when falling.
Skiploom's shiny and base for just swap colors, which I find kind of weird? I mean it makes sense from designing a shiny around the base form. But I'm not gonna go on another rant about color changes in evolutions I don't like. As for the improved version, I just find myself asking "why is it blue?"
Similar to Amphroros, Jumpluff's base form is something that just looks right to me, and I can't explain why. I'm left with no comment on either shiny form because... well... i don't know. At least its not blue?
Improved Aipom looks like a weird little monkey alien, and I don't know how to feel. Shiny Aipom is a vibe though.
I know shiny sunkern is a bad shiny. And the improved version is inherently better because it has more contrast and stands out more. But shiny sunkern is a darker shade of yellow so I can call it a gold shiny and that makes me happy.
Shiny Sunflora is so nearly there. The body color change is a step in the right direction (by which I mean its closer to gold. I love that the improved version is similar). I don't like the fact that the face gor washed out though. Improved sunflora does an amazing job of both changing that, and differentiating its face from the original by giving it a different color. I'd be hyped to find the improved shiny, though I do wonder if the original body would be better, because its a more natural healthy green and it would match normal sunflora better? Idk.
Yanma is not a pokemon thats really on my radar, so I don't have many opinions. All I can really say is the hot pink is a vibe but I don't know why the mask color changed.
With the wooper memes I think its shiny is just so Iconic that changing it could be a recipie for disaster. That said, I prefer the improved version except for the green bits. Why are they green?
Improved quagsire matches improved woopers colors, which means I automatically love it more than shiny quagsire.
Green espeon is weirdly one of the green shinies I actually enjoy. I like the fact it looks like an alien. But improved espeon is just whoa... incredible. My only nitpick is the green ear color, not a fan. Other than that, I think the improved version is insanely good and I want it.
As for umbreon, I think thats just a case of you can't improve on perfection. That said, Improved umbreon's deep blue eues are insane and I kinda wish shiny umbreon had those eyes.
Improved Murkrow is just a no from me in every aspect. Why is it blue? Why is it green? Why those shades? I just don't like it. I enjoy Shiny murkrow.
Improved Slowking is green, and I don't like that shade of green on slowking. I don't have much more to say, though Shiny Slowking does resemble a beetroot.
Improvrd Misdreavous base color and hair tip colour? Huge improvement, didn't like the og green color. Not a fan of the improved nechlace though, too bright in my opinion and idk if green is the right color, maybe a red? Either way, overall a huge upgrade.
I don't care for unknown. I think you could give in any dark-ish color and it would work.
Wobuffets original shiny I vibe with, because I just like the normal pink vs the normal blue of og wobuffet. That said, Improved is alright. I don't know if I prefer it though.
Grafarig. I feel like this is becoming like a catchphrase but why is it blue lol? Original and shiny Girafarig are so similar that the pokemon company can't even keep track of which one is supposed to be darker yellow. I can't say I know what would look best, but if the pokemon company could remember that orginal Girafarig has the lighter yellow, and the difference was always as stark as in the example, I think the original shiny is pretty cool.
Pineco. Og Shiny is golden. Literally. Unbeatable. A million points to pineco. Foretress too? Insane. There is no beating perfection.
Honestly I'm so used to shiny Dunsparce that any variation is just a shock to me, so I can't judge this fairly.

Steelix is GOLDEN so... yeah. I did originally write more about Gligar and steelix but didn't realize that was getting erased by the character limit so... yeah.
I don't like Snubbul's design so i don't like either shiny either. I like both shiny and improved granbull however. Shiny granbull is GOLDEN🌟🌟🌟 and improved granbull is a very nice blue/lavander and also changes the og from pink to blue. I don't like the green mouth though.

Not a big fan of the colour schemes with all the neon and such. I much prefer the warmer autumnal colours that a lot of the pokemon get. That said there were a couple in here that looked like good improvements on what already exists. Good effort for doing all of them.

I mean people have different tastes and thats fair, but could you add more variation to the color? If I did this I would look for different color pallets (either online or by myself) and then use ones that might match the pokemon's typing or such. Another way you could get more variation is by looking at the color wheel and choosing the opposites (I know, I know, a widely known thing) I think that this could help with some designs but of course it's your video and your effort that you're putting in! I don't want to sound like I didn't like them at all, I did, I just wanted some more (interesting I suppose) color schemes.
