Plus I’m kinda biased I love those bright colors so I tried to make some have more darker brown/orange tones but I hear you tho. Actual constructive criticism: A good shiny dosnt have to be crazy colouring, some shinys are good even if they don’t change much like articuno, your shinys are mostly good however the saturation does not need to be that high. Impressed you did all 151 tho good job 👏

I think the thing that's nice about shinies is not that they have to be crazy colors, but the end up looking only a lil more unique in most cases - some not - which is fine because it feels natural. These are meant to be animals, shinies being slight variations in color within reason. Complete tonal shifts and unnatural colors are just is not hitting the mark. I appreciate the effort put into this as it seems to be quite a feat to go through and do this.
I 100% respect your viewpoint and I completely get where you’re coming from! My only thing is how rare a shiny pokemon actually is you might only run into like one naturally in your life if you’re lucky. And if the one I run into is just like a darker pikachu when there are really cool ones like staryu out there I’d be sad to get something that looks similar to the original. I think I’d just pokemon to be more consistent and at least try with all of them cause they are capable of making some amazing shinies!

Shinies don't need to be these crazy and vibrant colors. Some of the best are only minor changes. Dial back the brightness of these and you might have something here. And maybe chill with the blues, and add some cohesion between the evolutions. Shiny Poliwhirl looks fantastic in red but Poliwrath looks completely different.

I say you should just use the art instead of the actual pokemon models like you did in the thumbnail. I think it would add alot more options of color schemes instead of just color contrasting. Also you dont have to color the whole body different, Sandshrew only changes the scale colors and not its face or belly. Just a suggestion though.

I went in GIMP the app. Put the models in went to the color tab and selected hue saturation and then played around with the little bar you can slide to change the colors. So I didn’t just click “invert” it actually took a while for each one. Even if you don’t like them I didn’t just invert each one and call it a day

I’ve played Pokémon go on inverted colours… some of these is just that and it’s too big a difference. Not all the colours should be changed
