I was in Marietta, Ohio in 2016. I picked up a load of aluminum like your load that you picked up in Kentucky. The load was in a dry van trailer and not strapped down. My driver manager told me that was the way it's hauled. I noticed that that was no movement of the load during the trip. Safe travels.

I tell you this... I started driving in 1987. I learn how to drive two sticks then up to 18 double over. I have been in lots of different trucks my favorite one was the one I learned in and it was a GMC General with spring suspension. I quit driving when I got hurt in 2010 so 2.3 million miles. So I have wear and tear on my body. I love watching you do things I only pulled skateboard for 1 year and loved it the part I hated was the tarping a load that did not need it. Always thought that should pay at least $100 per hour. I had serval chances to own my own truck never could see why. But by watching you I realized that I should have done it. But pulling either oversized or a drop deck. So you keep up the good work.

I had helical piers installed in my home, then injected with foam to correct my foundation problems. I'd do piers and no foam B4 I did foam and no piers.

We had a side walk straightened out five years back via mud jacking. Its all moved again. They did warn us it’s a temporary fix. I would replace the slab if you can afford to do so.
If the crack in the floor was caused by the storm damage your insurance should cover it.
I just had 6 12x20 slabs in my shop leveled with foam. I does not just go against the concert it also fills any voids in the soil. Must be a good process guys I used gave a lifetime warranty against resettling. Mine was 4.5K but this was in Idaho

I feel like mud jacking is a temporary fix that you'll still have problems with down the road because its the base under the concrete that needs fixed. If it's sinking I would think it will continue to sink after they fix it.
96 inch wide flatbed are good for roof shingles like GAF, I made good money in the past running that 48 x96/ We tried to buy a used 53x102 flatbed trailer used for plywood and lumber, good luck with that. A brand new alluminum spread axle flat bed $69,800.

I run 48’ flatbed. A lot of coil places won’t load step deck. Most coils load with overhead Crain. I don’t run a 53’ due to restrictions in a lot of states. Leased on to CRST and love being leased on to them. They pretty much leave me alone to do my thing

It is all about the insurance, it almost seems like you have to have them sign a waiver to inform them. That if you move from their facility, they are still responsible for the load.

How much is a concrete floor, if you and your son’s cut/remove the old floor and the concrete company preps and pours a new floor? You have to stop the water penetration on your existing floor. You must have a drainage issue.
Concrete prices go up when residential real estate is going up and goes down in price when the residential real estate market tanks or struggles. You can just watch annual residential starts and monitor days on the market, in your local market.

My shop floor is cracked. I'm considering the idea of digging under it and using bottle jacks to lift it and fill the hole with cement and leave the jack too.
I thought about that. But all that weight on that small point of the jack will probably make things worse. You could do a metal plate of some kind maybe. But how big. It could make things so much worse
Check out Axle Surgeon if you're still having trailer axle problems. They can weld a new spindles onto the axle instead of replacing everything.
