hello again everyone, i hope you've all been well! happy april and easter for those of you who celebrate 😊 i had a rather recharging long weekend filled with lots of family and church activities! march was a very busy month for me so it was lovely to unwind with the people i love 🤎
in this video, i did (by my standards) a bunch of reading and annotating! ✏️ i also finally updated my reading journal, which was long overdue. the weather is getting colder here in perth so it was so very cozy to be on my desk while sipping on my cup of tea ☁️🍵 i hope you all enjoyed the video, and i will see you in the next one!

OMG girlllll I literally just finished Emily's Encyclopedia of Faeries and I don't think I have ever cherished a book so much! I also had so so much fun annotating it while I read and funny enough we had marked many of the same sections, hehe. Wendell and Em are just too cute ahhhh they make my heart melt
just love to hear that another human loves this book as much as I did :) and that we had a similar experience while following Emily and Bambleby's adventures through Ljosland. I want to visit!! and meet Aud and try Poe's amazing bread!!

I didn't know people did this with just... general books.... I really like the muted highlighters, i just learned pastel and soft highlighters existed. I really wish I had some when I was in school because I was never able to take proper notes with the super bright ones. they hurt my eyes too much.

I just read I Hope this doesn’t find you and it’s amazing! It’s such a wholesome book and I think if you’re an academic you’ll definitely relate with the characters on some level.
The romance was also such a nice change of pace and reminded me a lot of Lara Jean and Peter from To All the boys I’ve Loved before.

i’m making a whole video on it soon!! 🥰 but in summary, annotate anything that catches your eye! and don’t be too bugged down on labels - use whatever you have on hand, whether it’s book tabs, post-it notes, etc! :)
