  • OAA ia an innovative system that stands for "One action acceleration system - OAA".
The OAA allows to simultaneously operate both the speed system and the trimmer for optimized angle of attack at any given speed. With OAA, when using the speed system, the trimmers are released gradually according to the position of the speed bar. This allows for a larger speed range that can be fully used in one swift action of the speed bar.
The "OAA" riser system runs on low friction Air Xtreme ball bearing pulleys for effortlessly progressive operation.
The pilot can choose if to activate the system or not with a simple "On/Off" setting operated with one Brummel hook connection.
By combining the design of "OAA" with our "SRS" (floating riser system) - we also achieved a riser that is clean and simple to operate.

I unpacked the new Thrust V this weekend to kite it at the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival next to the Washington Monument on the Mall in Washington, DC.
The THRUST wing kept overshooting on reverse launch and collapsing. I’m not expecting this unstable behavior. Are there setup tips for this THRUST wing to minimize this behavior?
I tried with trimmers IN as shipped and trimmers OUT, but it did not seem to make a difference.
Can you please put me in touch with someone who might advise me on this wing's setup and handling?

Can I have the OAA engaged and still use the trimmers as normal without the need for speed bar?

No, to do that you have to buy a Dudek wing with the PA system
