I'm happy with my 2nd hands H502S! I had to replace the front left motor but thats done in a half hour. I like how they designed their quad's and i am a true fan! I also like to buy empty frames and then i put a different brand flight controller in it and fly with a Spektrum TX, like a sleeper quad :D Hubsan forever!

Had motor issues with both my 501s and this model well the e non fpv one cautious flights all 3 ran the brushed motors in on this also ran the 501s a handful of times before issues arose so back they go come on hubsan there so nearly right
what lipo battery ( dimensions and volts) would Hubsan suggest putting in the remote?

Dear Hubsan. My H502s are not stable at all (it moves around in circle) while it's on the air and recording a video. Will It needs a new calibration again except the standard 1,2 calibration?
I have now got me a Husban 502s. Had a couple of flights yesterday.. love it... But one issue I have I hope you can give me some advice on, I hit the video button and get "circle fly" weird but true, nowhere in manual does it say that, I have managed to get video working but a bit of a hit an miss, and havent been able to take a still shot..and ideas

The H501S and H502S share the same transmitter. The H501S series has an orbiting function- but the 502S does not- so while the transmitter is capable of transmitting the command, the 502S is not capable of carrying it out.

One motor died after 5 flights. It lasted 2 month to get a replacement from banggood. Actually it works fine.
If 8 want to turn off gps can I flick the switch or do I need to go into the menu?
I use new 2A zinc carbon battery but can hardly last 5 minutes. what battery should I use?
Hola, tengo este dron desde 1 mes aproximadamente y cada vez que conecto la bateria comienza un sonido como un pito que no para de sonar, ademas ya en la segunda vez que lo ocupo el dron no se eleva, dando pequeños saltos pero sin lograr elevarse... me pueden ayudar por favor. saludos desde Chile

I bought one husband h502s and when I connected the battery for first time smoke come out of the drone and now when I connect it the motors starts working, the less are off and this is without the control on.
I bought another hubsan for a friend and it came with a led light dead.
Can we do something with that?

Fly your unit first is our recommendation; if it ain't broke, don't fix or attempt to upgrade it.

Question: my hubsan h502s don't take more than 3 satellites. What happened here?
Hello. Please send us a short video of this phenomenon to service@hubsan.com. Most likely, you'll just need an additional frequency isolation layer protecting the GPS. At worst, the GPS will need to be replaced, but this we will need to troubleshoot with you.
Just got one and it won't start up with the GPS on. This is not all it's put out to be. How do you get the GPS to work right?
Could you be a little more specific as to what you mean by "work right"? What problems specifically do you have? What does the aircraft do? Best if you send us a short video of the issues you see.

We will need more information to understand what you mean by does not work. Please send us a short video of what the aircraft does and what the transmitter screen reads when you feel that the GPS doesn't work. Otherwise, it's going to be a long shot, diagnosing the problem.
HUBSAN OFFICIAL like I said if I try to start it up with GPS it will not start if you turn it off then you can start it up to fly but still no GPS. Not liking this from not close to what it was said to be
Please answer the below questions.
1) Are there two GPS coordinate lines at the bottom of the screen?
2) If the answer to number 1 is "yes", are you saying that the GPS line for the X4 (the aircraft) is not accruing any GPS satellites?
3) Are you inside or outside?

There's not works function follow me in my Hubsan, what to do?
There are some units with Follow Me, others without. It's a custom feature that was ordered by some retailers- hence why some have them, some don't. You might have one that doesn't.
To test, simply make sure you have 6 or more satellites on both drone and transmitter. The drone itself must be at least 7 meters up and out.

I wish this video showed your what to do when the fpv stops working after 10 flights!!! I had the thing for a week and now they want me to send it to the other side of the country for repairs. probably wont see it for a month. Frustrated!

Hello. Most likely you're running into 5.8 interference. Also make sure that on the Main Menu, the 5.8G setting is "on".
1. Try rebinding the drone to the transmitter first:
Make sure that both your drone and transmitter are handy, powered off.
Hold the Photo (FPV2) and switch on the transmitter. The screen should say "System Initialize" then "Bind to Drone". If it just goes to normal operating mode, go ahead and try again.
Connect the drone to its battery and get it VERY CLOSE to your transmitter. Preferably you'll want to try fitting the right corner of the transmitter into the angle formed by the left drone arms.
The binding process will only work while the front two leds are alternatively flashing. If all the LEDs have started flashing, but the drone and transmitter have not "beeped" and initiated together, you'll have to try again.
If you are successful, the transmitter will "beep"- and you will see the screen FPV begin to start up, along with an additional pink "X4" satellite line above the green TX satellite line.
If rebinding in several different locations (2-3 times each location) doesn't work, please an email detailing the situation with a short video of the drone's belly light attached/linked to service@hubsan.com.

In the menu (Menu on mode 2: throttle full down + push into right stick) you can authorize the flight without GPS, and in another menu you can even switch to a manual mode without barometer . Be careful with this manual mode because once motors are armed you have to keep the throttle down to prevent the quad to fly up. The remote controller is not really for manual mode but much more for altitude or GPS mode because the throttle stick is centered by springs.
I'm disappointed with my new h502s , after 6 flights with caution( didn't take off or landing on grass or sand ) one motor burn , and after 3 flights another motor dead , and after 5 flights another motor dead again ! It's simply useless with very bad motors quality

Drone Worship ,no it was working good but after 6 flights it died ,I care a lot .I didn't takeoff or landing on grass or sands , I check up props before flying if it moves smoothly .I didn't fly in winds at all.i didn't play more than one battery to avoid over heating .
how do you "break motors in". just ordered my 502 and will get it in about a week. thanks
Let them run Idled for the 1st battery cycle.
HUBSAN OFFICIAL How do I get the h502s camera model to work inside my h502e useing E remote as well , I can get a video only when I plug in the quad with h502e remote off , when I try to turn on remote to bind and calibrate the signal cuts off , do I need the h502s remote or do I need to update firmware?
