- Hey guys! Back with another Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel video and today I want to go over the Top 6 Guns and Weapons that Talk from both games. I'd really only say one of these is truly bad while the rest are quite useful and definitely recommended depending on the Playthrough.

What about in Borderlands 3 we get a talking gun that spouts exposition(game lore, maybe...) when you shoot it. And i think we all know Sir Hammerloch would be the best for the voice.

Maliwan Gentleman's Gentleman
Tally ho good chap!
Panelemental sniper rifle that always spawns with a Gentleman's prefix, and the only Maliwan to even have a chance to not do any elemental damage. Instead, on a critical hit, it does guaranteed random elemental damage, with a 50% chance to inflict that upon enemies. Sir Hammerlock voices his opinions every now and again on your shooting skills, and offers much praise if you crit-kill a badass or boss.
Wooden texturing, with rainbow colored lighting where applicable, since this is a Maliwan.
Torgue TORGUE
MOTHERF****** BADASS, MOTHERF*****
Torgue rocket launcher. No explosion noise when a rocket explodes. Only Mr. Torgue making explosion noises and saying explosion. Has a very large ammo clip for a Torgue rocket launcher, and Torgue does an air guitar solo while reloading. Also has three passives. It has a chance to not consume ammo, a chance to fire another E-tech projectile when firing, in addition to the standard rocket, and finally, a 100% chance to not do self damage, because IT'S MOTHERF****** BADASS LIKE THAT, NOT LIKE THAT PIECE OF SH*T NORFLEET. WHY ARE YOU EVEN USING A MALIWAN PIECE OF SH*T? YOU WANT REAL EXPLOSIONS! GET A MOTHERF****** TORGUE TORGUE ALREADY AND STOP PATRONIZING THOSE TECH-OBSESSED F**** OVER AT MALIWAN! SUBTLE PLUG FOR TORGUE WEAPONS!!!
Non-shiny steel with a crudely painted TORGUE on both sides of the launcher, spanning the length of the launcher. One E-tech attachment is on the top, and only ever moves when shooting an additional E-tech projectile.
Maliwan CL4P-GN
Why did you pick this damn thing up?
Maliwan SMG that has a Maliwan circular clip on the side. Comes in all elements, but has a small chance to deal a rainbow nova on a crit hit, and comes with the Hyperion reverse recoil as well. CL4P-TP offers snarky comments when you do various things with it. Has a higher than usual chance to spawn with an extended magazine.
Yellow, except for the Maliwan clip that looks like a CL4P-TP tire, and a small white line running down the length of the gun. The lighting on the gun is white.

When I first used the Bane I was confused. I was like "What the hell was that?" And then I realised that it was the gun 😂

I enjoy Shotgun 1340, especially when it says "SUCK IT!" Wish it were stronger or had better properties.
The Bane was pretty funny too
the bane review made me laugh so fucking hard, seeing vpg calmly explain his opinion over the screeching and screaming
I remember glitching out one of my save files accidentally so the 1340 never stopped talking. It would talk when I wasn't using it, when I didn't have it in one of my active weapon slots, and even when I stored it in a container inside the sanctuary.
The Bane might be worth it if you play as the Mecromancer with the 'Close Enough' perk maxxed out.
At least 50% of your ricochets will hit something.
I like The Bane as a reserve weapon due to its high damage and rate of fire.

The voice for number 2 is Cybil from one of the very earlygame missions. She tells you to rescue a race of bugs called the cuties, which are then revealed to be torks, not cuties. So she then tells you to kill all the torks because they are not cute at all, hence the name, Cu+ie Ki||er.

Shotgun 1340 is one I keep in my vault even though it’s just alright. I love the story and quotes of the gun. Probably one of my favs.

Its not an npc it's the voice of supermodel Elle Dawe as her tv character "Shazza"
The voice module for boganella is the voice of Australian actress, Elle Dawe who appeared in some Australian television series such as Swift & Swift Couriers as Elle Whick and best known (in Australia) for her role as Shazza Jones in the TV series, Housos as well as the feature films, Housos vs Authority and Fat Pizza vs Housos

the boganella is voiced by Ella dawe an Australian actress known for her work on the TV show housos as "shazza". in Australia a bogan is someone who is usually considered uneducated or lack of caring of clothing or manners, Australias version of someone who is "trashy".
I remember in my first playthrough of BL 2 I got a morning star and since it was better than all the other snipers around I had to hold on to it since I was playing Zero, I was so happy when I got the Lyuda after farming.
I swear to fucking God, the fact he's trying to explain about the Bane while it is yelling its annoying noise.

actually none of the volume sliders effect the banes voice, so you can turn all of your volume sliders all the way down and it will be the same.

The only down fall to this great Video is that Puma didn’t shut up for one second to let us actually hear the Voice of the Gun’s.
Sometimes (very rare) the morning star sniper wil keep talking eventhough you switch to another gun ( extremely rare) she'll say "You cant ignore me!"
So there was this one guy who played the Gunzerker, he used to Banes. My ears have never bled so much in their life.

Isn't The Bane just a Psycho Midget just not quite as high-pitched? Hilarious gun to introduce your friends into the Borderlands games though. I did it once to a pal, noting its great overall stats but staying quiet about the curse. His face when he heard it shoot was priceless!

Corrosive Bane is pretty solid against Bunk3r in my opinion.. solid base and elemental damage..I personally love the Bane voice XD makes me lul every time.

I only had to look up one of those...
to be fair, that's SORT of the point of The Bane.... you can have ALL the sounds in the in-game options menu OFF and you will STILL hear it, it's MEANT to be a sacrifice you pay, along with the movement speed loss, for a pretty damn good SMG

That said, exactly how many talking weapons are there in both games? Would listing all the talking weps be too long a list?

Did you know the bane screaming sound gets disabled if you play split screen all you would hear is the swapping weapons,ratatat and reloading sound.

in borderlands 3 the torgue shot gun talks its a side quest reward mr torgue gets kill and his voice modulator must be transfered to different things until made into a gun of your chioce with explosive damage talks just like him after every kill
Actually, the bane has the same voice actor as Tiny Tina. Refers to it as "annoying gun" in the credits. Also it should be #1.
I think the bane was coded to not have its noises affected by the in game volume sliders
