The Feedback Loop is what happens when you start hearing your guitar sound and responding to it in real time. It is being 100% present in the musical moment!
Sometimes my playing feels like a uni-directional experience…I’m kind of pushing music out through the guitar, by sheer force of will. Kind of like paddling a canoe up stream.
On the other hand, Falling into the Feedback Loop feels like paddling with the current…working in tandem with the water, navigating the current with harmony and flow.

Oh man I love doing stuff like that (tapping the body) with the harp pickup in the Mirari! Beautiful.

Thank you so much, Jack! That's my favorite thing: being inspired and (hopefully) passing the inspiration along.

this reminds me, in parts, of steve vai's whispering a prayer. you've even got some vai-like articulations and harmonic movements like he does in that tune. awesome stuff man. awesome stuff.

Thanks so much! Steve is...amazing. I've gone through phases of dialing into his music, and I know some *little* things have rubbed off on my playing. I also enjoy his philosophy on composition and playing.
