    Verkligt bra och inspirerande! Käpte för ca 14 år sedan en Behringer mixer + några pedaler med tanken att åstadkomma något. Tyvärr hände saker i livet och de blev nerpackade och nästan bortglämda. Grävde fram dem ca 1 år sedan och har sakta börjat öva mig. Jag upskattar de här videon du gjort väldigt högt!

    by not maxing out the mixer and pedals but instead tuning variably, the pedals and mixer will begin to talk together rather than giving you the same feedback loop over and over

    What are your thoughts on the Xenyx 802 for noise? I am stuck between the 802 and the 1002 but the 802 seems to be cheaper. Great video btw I love the sound.

    • @bryskt
      @bryskt  Před 4 měsíci

      Both models work just fine and are amazing taking into account the price point.
      I have both and switch around depending on which I happen to grab first, or if I have a need for more or less channels.
      The 802 has 6 channels + stereo AUX return
      1002 has 10 channels.
      So for the 1002 you have to use one of the stereo channels for FX return, but for me it isn't an issue as I often do that anyway.
      The 1002 has a master volume fader while the 802 has a pot.
      So not sure if the differences ammount to too much,
      mostly how many channels you need and how much you want to spend on the mixer.
      I've had mine for years and used both of them on numerous gigs and recordings.

    Lovely sounds. Whats the signal route?

    • @bryskt
      @bryskt  Před 8 měsíci +1

      The video pretty much shows the signal chain as I build the setup.
      It's FX out from mixer into delay pedal
      stereo out from delay to reverb
      stereo out from reverb into two different distortions
      and finally distortions into mixer on two individual channels.

    The only problem with behringer pedals is the knobs, hard to turn, cant do quick changes.

      So, I use graphic equalizer 31band

    • @bryskt
      @bryskt  Před rokem +1

      Indeed, they are far from perfect, but really bang for the money.
      for budget gear I have one of those cheap 7band mini-pedal equalizers from ebay / amazon etc.

      @@bryskt I've heard about no input feedback loops before but never knew how people did them. Of course I've done regular feedback loops before but it's very hard to get distinct sounds out of it without it just sounding like typical mixer noise. But after watching this I tried it with some distortion and delay. I liked it but then i plugged up all my fuzz pedals to it and holy shit! Amazing sounds. Fuzz is my favorite type of effect so maybe I'm a little biased haha.But i've found that nothing fucks with a signal better than heavily biased fuzz pedals. I used a JHS Series 3 Fuzz, a Teisco fuzz, a Behringer Super Fuzz, and then a Boss ODB3 bass overdrive. perfection. so thank you for basically teaching me how to do this! I like making noise in all types of mediums. currently i do anti-records/turntable noise, junk metal noise, field recordings, pedal noise with contact mics and homemade shaker box, pedal noise using radio static, vocal noise, and now these no input feedback loops.

    • @bryskt
      @bryskt  Před rokem

      @@elektr0bath Depending on the soundsource, but technically just normal 6,3mm mono audio cables. possibly a 3,5mm stereo plug into 2x 6,3mm mono plugs or a stereo 6,3mm plug into 2* 6,3mm mono plugs
      but as I said it mostly depends on your setup.

  • @ChadKing69
    @ChadKing69 Před rokem +1

    Do you need an amp to hear feedback?

    • @bryskt
      @bryskt  Před rokem +1

      not necessarily, you can create a feedback loop with roting the signal back to itself.
      In this case I send the fx return back to the fx send on the mixer.
