Overall, I am very happy with these Timberland Mt Maddsen boots. They have the style of casual Timberland boots, that good everyday boots look, but at the same time qualities of a very good hiking boot.
The build quality is great and the price is very fair! In my opinion these boots are a great candidate for the best hiking boots under 100 list.

I just bought these today. I compared these with the white ledge, keele ridge and the Columbia Newton Ridge. These were the best out of the three for me. Thanks for the review.

@Pedro Adrian You really have to try them on and see what feels best for you. Believe it or not even though those 3 models of tims all look pretty much the same they all fit me differently. I didn't like the Columbia at all. As far as durability all I can tell ya is I've only had them for a year. I wear them pretty consistently. Not for any heavy work and not for hikes. Pretty casual wear but they're holding up fine. I did remove the insoles that came with them and got some memory foam insoles from amazon for $10. Makes a world of difference.

@@STDELTA21 good boots the soles wear out within 6 -8 months but I was wearing them daily the leather stayed nice I waterproofed them with silicone
