I love to hear the progression of your daughter's singing, she has a great harmony! Keep her interested!!
Love the string squeeks...
Lovely playing and beautiful harmony too. That young lady is truly good.
Thank you, Walter! I feel similarly about that young lady :)
Wonderful! Memories of John Hartford make my eyes wet and your harmonies would make him smile
Thanks so much, Michael. He was one of a kind.
It always makes me smile when your daughter's in it!
Wow I love this! Thank you so much
+Erik Lechtenberg you bet, Erik!
Brilliant! The new "Song of the Week" is a wonderful idea. I have become too focused on fiddle tunes in my banjo practice. This is so refreshing. Thank you for all you do. Now if I can only get my daughter to sing with me....
Love it! Would be keen to see other John Hartford songs (his own, or traditional numbers) in future. Definitely a Hartford vibe to your performance.
+equazor thanks, really appreciate that.
I've been watching these videos just to learn banjo but I'm now watching them jsut for the musical enjoyment of it - this is really good. CLose harmony singing is hard enough, but to get it so right is really impressive. Lovely stuff. CD next please :)
+Natalieforpope Thanks so much - appreciate the CD encouragement! :)
Sounds so great! New song for me-I`m luving it!
Awesome job, both of you! Both of your vocals are strong you harmonize so well! Kudos!! Brian M
Thanks, Brian!
Thanks, Josh. Pretty tune I hadn't heard. I was trying to do the fingering with three fingers (no pinky), but watching the video, I'll bring-er in.
Superb! I just ❤️ it! God Bless You!
+John Borgen thank you John!
Very nice! can't wait to try it out.
Yes! thank you for this one!
Amazing! Kudos for keeping your old time music tradition alive and kicking. Greetz from Athens! (not the one in Georgia, the original one)
Your daughter sings very well with you. She looks a lot like her daddy. I am going to try to learn clawhammer banjo, love your sites.
I really enjoy your videos and i also subscribed for your tab-newsletter. It's quite hard to find good clawhammer tabs online so you helped me really out. Thank you!
My pleasure, Andreas - thanks so much for the kind words.
I was looking for those triplets all the way through,,, but never found them. They make the song to me
love this thanks! the tab is amazing
+Tbut155 thank you!
You and your (I guess) daughter make a perfect duo, if you don't perform on stage you should consider it, it would be awesome !
+Ramone Corentin thanks so much! We have performed from time to time, and trying to get her to do more!
Joli duo
