I appreciate this tutorial so much! This is the same aircraft my grandfather had (except it wasn't the g1000 he just had a small garmin gps in it). He had me up and flying it when I was 6 and he got me a little logbook for myself and I had 500 or so hours of flight time in it. He was forced to sell it cause he was getting older and the insurance was getting too high. He had plans of getting an Adams A500 but then the market crashed in 2008 and he never got the chance before he passed. I wasn't gonna get this game until they ironed out the bugs but when I found out they had a bonanza in it I bought it on release day. Thank you for this tutorial it's super helped my flying in it! Also, something I find interesting is that my grandfathers version didn't have 2 yokes. It had one that you could flip a latch on and actually roll the yoke over to the copilot side. Only plane I have ever seen with that system.
GREAT video. I like the way your "talk your thoughts", that keeps in in line with what your are seeing/thinking. Please keep the videos coming! !! !!!
P Gatcomb, you are such a champion. I am finding these guides _so so so helpful_
Great tutorial. I'm a rookie and appreciated the star to finish walk through with demonstration and commentary. Nicely done by a knowledgeable and skilled pilot. Thanks!
I have watched this video a few times and have learned a lot. You explain the operation and flight very well. I am not a pilot,( yet) , but you really inspire those to get interested. You would be a good instructor because of your very friendly way of explaining well and joking at times to not always sound serious. Great video.
I think after the TBM this is my favorite aircraft. I wish there were more steam gauge planes though
I'd recommend switching Anisotropic Filtering to 8x or 16x without real performance loss in the graphics options. Makes those markings on airfield tarmac just a teeny tiny bit clearer.
This video was incredibly helpful! Just moved to this from the 172 and I’m a little overwhelmed with all the differences.
Great demonstration. Looks like a really fun plane to fly!!
This was too too good. I enjoyed it more than a teeny tiny bit. At least tree out of five stars. (Only kidding, love your tutorials, keep them coming!)
Thanks for all the great FS videos you are producing; keep up the excellent job!, can't get enough of them.
Outstanding!!! Very informative tutorial. Thank you for doing these great videos for us to acclimate ourselves to the various planes available in FS2020.
Been waiting for this specific video a LOOOONG time.
Thanks, P.
I watched this again after watching the mixture, propeller, and King Air videos, and I don't feel as intimidated now. Thanks again.
Your videos are excellent! I am so appreciative of your efforts :)
The mountain at 19:29 is the Aconcagua. It is the highest mountain in the Americas, the highest outside Asia and the highest in both the Southern and the Western Hemispheres with a summit elevation of 22,838 ft (6,961 metres). * Source: Wikipedia
One of the "Seven Summits"!
@@mcdol13 That is correct!.
"The Seven Summits" are the highest mountains of each of the seven continents. Climbing to the summit of all of them is regarded as a mountaineering challenge, first achieved on 30 April 1985 by Richard Bass. Completing the Seven Summits and additionally reaching the north and south poles has been dubbed the Explorers Grand Slam. * Source: Wikipedia
Very nice. I liked it a lot. Lovely Bonanza well piloted.
Always Glad to have a real pilot flying sim planes So Your doing a Good Demo
Thanks these are great videos for knowing how to fly each plane
Excellent video. Thanks. This is the next aircraft on my list to try.
Great video, very informative as always!
Great video Captain.
I neeeeeeeeeeded this. I always screw up the flight with this aircraft in game, now I suddenly understand WHY. Cowl flaps + Best Mixture Set button... Thanks mate!
I learned a lot; thank you. Subscribed.
Great tutorial as always
Nice video. I learned a lot!
Learned a lot, thanks!
what a fantastic tutorial, thank you for that 👍
Awesome! instructional Video! thank you!
Great video!
One thing I noticed coming into land with this plane is it slows down quick
Thank you, I just found this aircraft. Very nice. TOMSWFL
Very nice. If you like a plane like this but with the steam gauges try the Mooney M20R. It’s awesome
I will second this! Fantastic plane worth the money.
@@CanadaSims The only issue with it at the moment is that if it's the first plane you fly when you launch flight sim after about 10 min your avionics will just shut off and you can't turn them back on.
@@Hockeyguy8541 I believe that was fixed in the latest patch. I hope so at least thanks for the warning!
Ty great video 😎
Anyone have good chart or somethign showing ideal landing profile? Looking for altitude, speed, flaps settings for each leg. Just started flying this thing on MFS and have been looking around the web but need a quick reference. I have been less than stabilized on each of my landings thus far. Biggest problem seems to be throttle management and prop RPM settings are a bit all over the place, having to adjust constantly. Thanks!
top video :)
Sorry for the newbie question but what is the auto set mixture key by default? Or do you have to set it yourself?
IRL the weather radar would show terrain tough. You'll need to set it up correctly. The vertical scale in FS2020 is stuck +/- 60k feet. Makes judging clouds altitudes quite difficult. Edit: Almost forgot: Thanks! Nice video!
Awesome vid. I wish you weren’t on so much adderal tho and spoke a little slower. 😄
I hope you can turn off the little desscriptions when for example pointing at the Throttle
I notice would you just a mixture the cylinder head temperature gauge does not move but the fuel flow does. I usually adjust it until the fuel flow starts to get too low and then increase it till it peaks out One other thing is the heading bug will not center under the heading when you push the heading knob in the center like it does when you first start out. It usually lines up in a couple of degrees off. If you save the game and leave it and come back it will line up as much as 45° off. I would like to see you do a video to show how to obtain the patch, how to install it and where to install it so that we can get the better version of this aircraft.
I want the RealAir Duke for FS2020! Unfortunately, I will not be heard...
Great tutorial, can I ask you how can you set the instruments description style like that when passing over them with the mouse? I got those big descriptions not showing any values, just the big name of that control, I would like to have those FsX style ones, showing percentages etc. Thanks!
I just saw this video explaining it :) . czcams.com/video/EMv2B7EVdYw/video.html
how you casually put in the autopilot data.. i can do that but the moment i switch on the AP main, it resets it either to "0" or to the current. seem like a nasty bug?
Love your videos! But how did you get the flightplan to show on map? It has not been working for me since the first update. Is is a mod?
I was getting cowl doors completely the wrong way round! opening them on the ground and closing them in flight!

NEVER forget it.
If you have the latest version of the G36 mod and combine it with the latest G1000 mod then you get the engine lean page on the MFD as well as some other nice features like track up and ability to turn off the synthetic vision on the PFD.
Links for the mods please? 😬😬
2nd that, links would be appreciated as its difficult to find the right version of the right mod xD
@@guiluismelo think this is the link: forums.flightsimulator.com/t/g36-fixes-and-improvements-update-30-09/216094
@@Just_lift_anyone You want that as well as the one I linked. The G36 mod overhauls the flight dynamics while the G1000 mod puts features that Asobo left out back into the avionics.
@@DilainMedia Did you post a link ? I can't find it??
What joystick do I fly with?
Your videos are a tiny teeny bit good
No, the landing gear is not retracted immediately.
How/where do down load it ?
Man, turn the Anisotropic filter on, on even 16x, it is not heavy as all, IIRC is something that your GTX 1080 can totally handle.
Does he really have a 1080? I use one and my graphics are all on ultra while his are close to shit

I need help adjusting the fuel mixture on my Bonanza. I was flying earlier at 6000 ft and I couldn't get my manifold pressure to go over 21. Fuel mixture set anywhere from 10% to 100% didn't seem to make a difference in the way the aircraft flew
Did you try adjusting your prop trim?
@@connorammerman470 yes prop was set right. After learning more about flying with altitude and temperatures that lower pressures are normal at higher altitudes. I've also learned that my climb will be slower the higher I go and the difference between air speed and ground speed. I'm doing a world trip and so far in 19k miles in my tour
I just tried flying a Bonanza two different times in a row and two different locations as I'm approaching the airport the plane just goes out of control it must be broken on my end
Try the G1000 and Bonanza G36 Mod :)
What is the FS key for auto mixture? I was not aware of that little trick, though it might not work with a throttle quadrant. I’ve always dreamed of owning a Bonanza in real life, I love this plane, although I’m still more comfortable with the old 6-pack of steam gauges - I have a hard time remembering which button does what, and find it difficult to grab the right knob and not push it in the sim. One of these days I’ll make a little knob box to help with that.
Have you tried the Mooney yet? Its payware but really good fun if a little bit too fast.
You need to assign a key for that function yourself as it's not bound by default.
@@Just_lift_anyone haven’t bought it yet, but it’s on the list. Probably soon, my first ride in a GA plane was a Mooney so they have a special place for me.
@@DilainMedia thanks for the heads up. I haven’t really had a chance to explore all the available functions in the game, I just mapped the ones I need to buttons and started flying. I really need to build a button box or something as I just can’t remember what key does what. MS Flight Simulator 1.0 came with a cardboard print that fit on the keyboard to list all the functions, would be nice to have that again 😀
@@pipedreamin If I remember correctly the boxed version does come with something like that along with an actual manual and 10 DVD's.
What are the arrival and departure airports for this flight?
I think it’s SCEL to SCER
Maybe someone can confirm the departure. I‘m a teeny tiny bit unsure about that
Corrected that one. Has to be SCEL instead of SAME
Yepp, SCEL -> TENUT -> SCER
Thank you.
Great video tank you. I will only PRAY YOU TO SPEAK more and more slowly, consider that not all people on youtube can follow a speedy english spoken as your, to understand all concepts we need time!
You can set playback speed as slow as you’d like in the settings menu. Just tap the gear icon.
Nada vê, que Nutella . Kkk Os Carenados Bonanza fsx bem mais Loko . Isso aí ta parecendo GTA kk
Shocking to see, how f*cked up this game currently is. Ground textures looking like FSX, when taxiing you see those yellow lines only 10 meters ahead... framerates are worse than the initial release version, still looking worse. Shadows in the cockpit are also broken and flickering. Such a mess...
So are you happy now you got your bitching out of the way? Question - is there a better alternative flight simulator that you can recommend? You imply that FSX is no better or even worse, and FSX apparently gets expensive. As someone new to the flight sim world I think the sim is amazing.
Talk slowly and don't move the camera so fast. Are you in a hurry?
I agree with what you said, but you could have asked this politely instead of just giving orders. Remember that he share that amazing content for FREE and you can still pause, or re-watch it multiple time if you don't understand something, since it's not live content. Fly safe.
