What a disgusting comment. The blatantly ignorant statements and the words used by so many people leaving comments here is shocking and disgusting. So many people who do not know < or do WANT to know > the true facts but are just willing to condemn the man anyway. So many people leaving comments who must never ever have made a single mistake in their lives. Everything that is wrong with British society encapsulated in the vitriolic words that stupid, ignorant, or just plain nasty people have been using against Philip Schofield.

We don't know what she knew. I tend to think that you aren't in a marriage that long without picking up on the fact that your husband is gay and unfaithful. They could both be going their separate ways in that respect. Most of my sympathy is for the show runner and, maybe, his daughters.
I had a friend who found herself in very much the same situation. She had no idea that he was picking up young men, until he finally told her. They had a young daughter. She was absoluteky broken, poor woman.

I havent seen anyone defend him. Only Alison Hammond saying she's conflicted. And though a lovely person, she seems quite naive to me. The face people present to the world is very often not the reality , even in everyday life. She wasnt a close friend of his, so she saw his work persona, nothing more.

That's grooming and abuse of your position of authority. Nobody would bat an eyelid if his coworker / partner was in his early thirties or late twenties even.

Because the vast majority of them are career politicians, they've gone from university to political workers or trade union activists then become MP's without ever having experienced working in an office, shop, business etc. They think that they are privileged and entitled and are superior people. MP's are meant to be servants of the public, to listen to the problems, requests and will of the people, they are not meant to impose their own beliefs and desires on the people.
Florida is poorly run. It's a nightmare. I have a Condo there that I can't sell because the Condo Association refuses to insure it for floods. The buyer who wanted the Condo had to step back from the deal because no mortgage lender would give him a mortgage because the Condo Association refuses to insure the building for floods. Totally against the law. Now I'm in a lawsuit, paying a lawyer $500 a month, and paying $1500 a month in a mortgage, electricity, and monthly Condo Association fees. It's not fun. That's one example of how poorly run Florida is. Beyond that, I live in another State where I'm paying $5000 to live. Florida is no Mecca. And when the Hurricanes hit again this year, you'll see just what living Hell it really is.
