    We know the grab rails on the new GoldWing are a bit tight for passengers to hold onto, how does that nice rear bag fasten down on the back seats of either bike? You left out demonstrating this most important element. Would have been very easy to do this too.

      . Two straps straight down would be the best bet. We will have to record a quick video for you... In the mean time, this image shows it well: www.kuryakyn.com/products/5164/momentum-wanderer-touring-seat-bag - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

    Had those hand grips on my last bike, a bit too pimped out looking for me. I went with Grip Puppies on my 18 GoldWing. More comfortable, much cheaper, and the grip heater goes through them well.
    The mini boards don’t look strong enough to stand on like the stock pegs. Looks like you would strip the splines right out the first time you tried it - maybe even crash. I like the cooling effect of standing on the pegs occasionally and it takes the cramping out of my back.
    That silly cup holder blocks the controls - UNSAFE!
    Just stop and have a drink - stretch your legs - the cup holder is for a 70 year old man riding a CanAm Spyder!

      Thanks for your comments Lance. If you like grip puppies, you will LOVE the original Grip Buddies even more! I personally own a set for each of my bikes. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

    When do you think Kuryakin will get highway pegs. Will probably get the miniboards when highway pegs are available.

    • @chaparralmotorsports
      @chaparralmotorsports  Před 6 lety

      We asked Kuryakyn about the highway pegs this morning and this was the response: Hi Kyle,
      Highway pegs are a high priority for us. We have had a lot of requests for those. We have 40-50 new items in works for that bike. We are hoping to have them here for the end of the year or beginning of 2019. People have been trying some of our other products to fit but we are not recommending the highway pegs even though they may actually bolt up. Too much leverage is put on them and I am sure other reasons. Thanks!

    • @chaparralmotorsports
      @chaparralmotorsports  Před 4 lety +1

      The heat still comes through, just slower to get up to temperature and High is about 10% cooler than with out the grips. -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

    I got 3 of the items that you talk about from my Honda dealer. I am not impressed. In my opinion parts for the older Goldwing that are being passed off as fitting the 2018 bike. Case in point...the grips are just a hair too small in the sleeve diameter....just no way to lock them in all the way across with the tabs......the 4 screws the end of the bar, and the 2 at the front are pretty much holding them on...yes I got the rubber pads through the metal, and seated right. And I do have concerns if the heat will go through these grips to my hands. The drink holder....is too low and not a good fit on the DCT. I ended up taking it off. The highway mini boards, taking to my dealer to install to see if he has better luck. They stated at the dealership they had doubts if these 3 parts would work with good fitment.
    I will wait for accessories that are engineered specifically for the 2018 and up bike, and for that bike only, Not a range of Goldwing production years.

      Thank you for your comments william pollitt. Kuryakyn confirmed fitment of these parts, and sent them over. We have since installed all of them on bikes which have since been sold. We did not experience what you are reporting. The excess material over the grips will for sure "minimize" the heat which is passed through. The grips are available in a Heated version and a non-heated version. Please verity you have the correct fitment. As for the mini boards, I am curious as to why they did not work great for you. Thank you for your comment and for your feedback. - Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

    Küryakyn, Can you please acknowledge that many 2018+ Goldwing owners are in a younger age group and think that Chrome Everything is UGLY AS SHIT! Makes the bike look cheap and dated! Gun metal grey please.

    Kuryakyn are over rated and over priced for what they are. Quality maybe better than some other accessories manufacturer but, it's still an accessories, NOT a need.
