As a resident of Gainesville, Ga myself, I’ve heard so many horror stories about Lake Lanier and have one of my own. So yes, I believe it’s haunted. Great video, btw! I might have to make a video on it myself.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s greatly unfortunate that African Americans were ran out of their home, were not paid or severely underpaid, and I’m sure some killed before leaving the area. African Americans can’t catch a break. Regular everyday people who were living in their homes rushed out by caucasians all to build a lake. Seems like a common trend and savage. I’m not an African American, but they are sure a highly sought after race of people where opposing races always seem to attack and target. When we all transition, these people are going to have to answer to God.

Forsyth county ga is very racist. It's a sundown county. Sundown means no blacks can't be out pass 10pm Cummings is a nice area but I would not move there Forsyth county period. They want to keep it white

Oscarville was a thrieving black community. Wealthy black community and was flooded to make a lake. There are stIll cemeterys and stuff in lake Lanier and alot of drownings.

Realters wont tell you about haunted places because it affects their job pay since its hard to sell haunted homes or land that is haunted with homes on it.

As someone who has lived 10 minutes away from Lanier their whole life, it it 100% haunted and dangerous. I will guaranteed never swim in it and do not trust the waters here.

You people should repent. Those souls are tortured. They and their land domain have not been respected.

I heard from locals that the area was actually never evacuated and they flooded the area with the people still in the area, killing many people. Also there has been 700 deaths at Lake Lanier since its construction in 1956.

American explorer Forsyth county is a sundown county they wanted to keep it completely white. I would never go to that lake. Oscarville was a wealthy black community that was flooded. It's haunted and I will never voca over there. Swimming in water with dead bodies underneath that's a no-go for me.

Y’all Lake Lanier is just a lake. Ghosts aren’t real and yes, it has a dark past. But it’s just a body of water.
