I was a dj back in the 80s still doin a bit.relax still does a storm in my 80s club.frankie where 30 years infront of music just listen to this banging
So good to see the band back together and performing in Liverpool . We all have our own lives to lead but , Welcome back , you have been missed , If you young people of today were sitting down they could take FGTH from where they left off
This is Sweet!! Last I know, Holly turned it down with VH1. I am so glad you got to experience it. Thanks for filming in HD. Thanks for posting. I was dancing to this when it first came out. I mean, when Relax came out, it hit like a fucking brick upside the head. Fantastic.
I met FGTH at a record store signing in Washington, DC in 1984. I believe it was their first time in the States and the place was utter pandemonium. Frankiemania. People grabbed anything for them to sign. I grabbed the "Two Tribes" 12" single and Nash and Holly scribbled on it. I was ushered out the door without getting the chance to pay for it. It's wild that they are looking so old now when I feel like I haven't changed too much.
I walked around Liverpool with Nasher on Saturday as part of a tour of Liverpool music sites, including The Bridewell pub where the band formed in 1982 and wrote the songs of theirs on Welcome To The Pleasure Dome. He was personable, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and funny throughout with some interesting anecdotes and opinions about music and more. I am 53- I would not have believed in 1984 when they were at their sensational peak that 39 years later I would be walking around Liverpool with one of FGTH. No-one recognised him but most people will know the name of the band and/ or the music. He lived in London for over 30 years and has been back in Liverpool for the past four. He bought everyone drinks at two pubs and was generous with his time- it overran considerably.
@@karenyates5805 I liked them very very much in the past! I just dont think they have it anymore, thats all. That is to be expected, given the time gone by and their age. Wasnt trying to be mean or sth
About time these lads came back. Great British History 👏
Still one of my favourite songs
Wait.....am I actually seeing Holly Johnson performing with the rest of the gang?? Did hell freeze over? Awesome
Mark is still on top of his game!!!! Great show !!!!
Was fortunate to be there... 53 year old Liverpool lad who loved them in the golden era of the 80s.. Brilliant to see them back in my home city
Imagine this band touring absolutely awesome
Brilliant

Yeah, that would be cool
Like William Shakespeare wrote:
"Once more onto the breach, dear friends, once more!"
Great performance and what an amazing bass line. Frankie says WELL 'ARD! Amazing to see the lads not a long way from home anymore. 😛💫

Non ho ancora capito in quale filone musicale classificare i FGTH, ma li considero semplicemente fantastici e irripetibili.Lunga vita a FGTH.👏👏👏👏👏

thank you for landscape
Franky goes to EUROvision💀
Could you imagine if Holly and boy George sung together that could have been electric 2of the greatest voices ever
Wish they played a longer set. Btw, why is Paul dressed like a truck driver?
Stare Dziady dają radę 😊
How did 'Nasher' get away with wearing a CCCP shirt at this event ?
I can hear the vocals are live… but is the music on playback?
some synths and effects yes, but rhythm section is live
Just the vocals live
Bass, guitars & drums are clearly live - the keyboard player is off stage right next to the monitor mixer.
Quite obviously, I'm afraid. Hitting the same cymbal twice and getting different sounds is a dead giveaway.
@@darrenpataki7968 the bass and guitar are absolutely not being played live
So much better than todays crap ❤
Right on Peter
Couldn't even compare today's crap to these iconic legends
They played only one song? Sounds like a bit much effort for a reunion? It's like flying to Australia for just one day.
There weren’t allowed to play anymore!
those cell phone zombies suck ...
Music is not live
Why do you think that?
Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Drums are live along with a backing track…
Not one of them live in or support Liverpooĺ its about their bank balance
jeez christ, trust pirouette wrote the song..
One bloody song? Are they having a laugh
A good effort, but I’ll stick with the album version.
Habt ihr eure Handys eigentlich auch beim Scheissen dabei ? Immer schön das Brett vorm Kopf halten !
No passion
Not very good, auch
You need a hearing aid

Couldn’t sing live back then
Certainly can’t sing now
Of course he can sing live and sings very well with his own band too
You are weird
and that would be a problem how?
that doesnt chance a thing about their greatness...sorry
Brilliant
