    green suns zenith cant grab the drake because its not green
    Search your library for a green creature card with mana value X or less, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle. Shuffle Green Sun's Zenith into its owner's library.

    The Nadu player walked so the Kinnan player could run. The unfortunate truth of the lightning greaves turn is that it king made the Kinnan. Homeboy literally killed himself to ENSURE the bird couldn’t play. After the table chose to use its counter spells on a greaves, the Kinnan was able to play almost freely knowing that a large portion of the tables interaction was used up. But I more heavily agree with a previous comment made. The real winner here is rhystic study lol

    I think you should have made a copy of the volatile storm drake and stolen the mammoth

  • @dimitriid
    @dimitriid Před měsícem

    Wouldn't call it worst or better, just different.
    I do like Kinnan's pro's which are that he can rather effortlessly generate infinite mana with a single other card (Several but you only need one) And provided you also get yourself mana fixing you can 'draw' infinite also with Kinnan.
    Nadu however, has more of that old school storm/cascade feel because you don't really know for sure if you're going to chain through your entire deck so there's a certain level of excitement there to see if you reveal enough to keep the combo going. The only exception is the exponential growth of Scute Swarm and 6 lands in play: once you hit 8 or 16 Scutes you're all but certain to be able to just draw your entire deck at that point.
    But well, you don't *need* to build specifically with Scute Swarm in mind you can just whatever cheap Simic creatures you'd want: I went with Merfolk since I like using Hakbal to pump all the little guys up and then all the new 'Everybody controls and Island and all my guys have Islandwalk' tricks, Nadu just enables this deck to assemble the board state much, much faster but it works well enough with Tatyova or Thrassios

    • @DeadOnBoardMTG
      @DeadOnBoardMTG  Před měsícem

      Yeah they are definitely different, although my playgroup hates nadu as the storm turns can be awfully long lol

    • @PROM3TH3US1991
      @PROM3TH3US1991 Před měsícem +2

      Also, when the entire table stops you from doing anything with Nadu and just let the kinnan player go off.....of course kinnan is a better commander.

    • @DeadOnBoardMTG
      @DeadOnBoardMTG  Před měsícem

      Lol he was really worried hidden would just win the game from there, the deck is still new so he's not sure if that would just be game, he had the mana if not for the cyc rift and while he wasn't happy about discarding his hand he was hoping the esper and Tymna would let him refill

    • @PROM3TH3US1991
      @PROM3TH3US1991 Před měsícem

      @DeadOnBoardMTG didn't have the mana to pay for the negation.i think people are over valuing Nadu at the moment. Not that he's not strong, he's just the new thing atm.

  • @animeexpresscon
    @animeexpresscon Před 20 dny +1

    Flesh Duplicate should have copied mammoth and immediately killed the seedborn muse. That's the only way they had any hope of taking back control of the game. The mammoth would still be there to generate lots of value on the following few turns.
