We dont mind negative response. In fact, we appreciate it! Whatever we can improve, we wanna know.
Negative or positive is anyone's right; as far as it's tolerable. Having said that, if it's slandering better watch out.
And we dont go for war for the negative comment 😅 just saying.. #bawangrangermaybe

Watching from Thailand but still very interesting video about Malaysia!!
Nice one 😁 thanks for watching also Malaysian content:) we’ll be back in Thailand in about a month 😊
@@Chai_Travel u can go back Thailand . And don't come back here.
I'm not surprised that some Koreans don't like Malaysian food because some Malaysians don't like Korean food.In my opinion, just a few days in Malaysia is not enough to enjoy Malaysian food. The food here is so diverse as each race or state may have a different version of the same food like laksa, rendang, etc.
Peggy will you go to the extreme to get a chef while on golf tours here? That is what happened in my hotel serving kpop folks. They brought their chef from Korea.
I don't like Korean food. Yuks
Most Koreans just not adventurous enough in trying new delicacies instead of their Korean food
@@zaidarazak2838 true. I watched other videos where Koreans travel to other countries. They’d still look for Korean food in other countries which I think defeats the purpose of travelling…
True! When my korean friend came to visit they usually choose for the safe one. And back to Korean food. I bet korean and arab are the people who can’t really adapt towards the local
Hi y’all 🏆 Thank you for watching. I’m slightly embarrassed that I started off this episode saying, we were filming in front of Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad. This beautiful brick mosque is located behind the building we were filming “Sultan Abdul Samad Building”. I hope it didn’t distract too much from the rest of the video. Have a beautiful day and night ❤️ stay champ 🏆

That’s the positive I like. I’m sure if she had some more time and someone who could tell her wat yo eat she would appreciate it more :) thanks for watching ❤️
@Chai Travel better go for food tour. But I was not surprised from the Korean. Before pandemic, my hotel has many Koreans on golf tours. They brought their own chef cooking Korean food and kimchi. In other words, they are not like Japanese willing to experiment with other food. All they eat is their food.
@@keangwooichoo6138 do you watch Chu Bro with Tag line ( Sedap) ? . He is Korean n really love Malaysian food...

Thanks Steven 😁 I hope you’re having a great Sunday 😃🏆 cheers
Malaysian foods tend to be on the “heavy” side on flavors. This may not be every one’s cup of tea.
I think you’re right :) I absolutely love it though 😉
Yeah I think that's a factor.
I've seen several youtubers especially from japan and korea, who had their first taste of different malaysian food, commenting (this food) is easy on the palate, and they continued, commenting the food would likely be liked by their countrymen. I think the most popular japanese youtuber among malaysians, ichang and husband jimmy, have also made such remarks before.
I didn't quite understand it hearing those comments, but now that you mentioned this point, I believe this is exactly what they were referring to
I would say they probably haven’t explore beyond the usual Malay, Chinese and Indian dishes…
It depends on how much they've discovered about Malaysia, if you're labeling it as heavy food then you probably had only eaten Malay or Indian cuisine, try Chinese food. I'm a Malaysian who dislike heavy food myself and Chinese food is always my first choice. I love wantan mee, Chinese fried rice, egg drop soup, steamed egg and more I can eat Indian and Malay cuisine as well but it's just not my jam, for example I hate nasi kandar
@@blackmarble7265 "Heavy" is to westerners and not you. To you wantan mee is not heavy but it is loaded with strong flavors from dark soy sauce to pork lard. Even the Japanese in Malaysia find the local food too much. Of course Japanese has food with strong umami but they are not heavy on oil and flavors like Malaysian foods
Those two Portuguese people were very fun. Now I want to go to Portugal and Malaysia.
haha nice!
Thats Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad in Dataran Merdeka and not Masjid Jamek, its two different Building. Its ok if the korean lady doesn't like our food, maybe it doesnt suit her palate yet, perhaps need more time.
Lol. He was confused.
Oops! 😅 that was the building behind 😅 my bad. Thank you for correcting me. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the video
@@Chai_Travel I enjoy watching the video ✌️
I had previously heard a lot of complaints about the hygiene, particularly in Batu Cave. To be completely honest, despite the fact that I used to encourage my international friends to travel there whenever they visited Malaysia, despite being a Malaysian myself, I had never been there before. I hope that whoever is in charge of the area would pay attention to all the complaints, particularly those about the hygiene of the Batu Cave area. It is rather embarrassing for our visitors who travel great distances merely to view the repulsive aspect of it.
I totally feel you. It’s a shame it’s so dirty most of the time as it’s super accessible from the city and we’ll visit by foreign tourists. They might get the wrong impression of Malaysia ❤️ I hope they do something about this as I love Malaysia 🇲🇾 thanks for watching 🏆
So agree.
Hiya I've been there and lived nearby for a short just to visit Batu cave regularly for step walk everyday. The local Indian are nice always always kept the place clean even the top bit. Is the foreign worker from Indian, Indonesia, and etc they come to Malaysia to work. Its always been like this since before 2000 as far as I know. The gov Malaysia need to implement like a leaflet or book to foreign worker that when they come here to Malaysia for work they need to keep the place clean. Someone must really act soon lol. I also lived in Kl Bukit Bintang area for a short time back in 2000, back of building where the rubbish bin are, they just chuck the rubbish from the top of building I've seen it myself. I was disappointed why Malaysia gov didn't set some kind of rule to foreign worker who lives and work in KL area. Gutted... 😔
@@ukchub6633 - It's true what you mentioned without a doubt. Most Malaysians are conscious of the importance of cleanliness. Regrettably, Malaysia employs a large number of foreign workers who are unable to keep our country clean. They continue to be enslaved by their old habits and lack environmental stewardship. In fact, some of them opt to be beggars because they are aware of Malaysians' charitable nature. When visitors cannot tell locals from foreign workers, they are to blame for damaging the reputation of our country. As long as they do not face harsh punishment from the authorities and as long as situations like these are challenging to handle effectively.
Ikr. How come religious place is dirty
This Portuguese interviewee nailed it when when he said its his turn to interview you back 😀 it was hilarious

You asked a Korean lady about food.... Korean people are very proud of their cuisine. To the Korean, no other food beats their Korean food. They are not open to other palate. You asked the wrong person.
Aaah I almost left it out but I thought she was nice enough to talk to us :) also I don’t want only Europeans in this particular video:)
You are correct. I work in hotel. I know their habits. Kamsahamida

Malaysia is underrated country & always labelled as third world country.
So, Malaysians are very curious to listen to any opinions from outsiders especially from big countries nation.
I’m personally very curious about travellers responses when it comes to “How your experience in this city compared other cities you’ve visited?”
More elaborated answers is more satisfying.
lebeled by the intertainment media.. but as far as UN concerned Malaysia is a Developing Nation.. no such things as 3rd world country... its a term being used during cold war days.. and it even does not meant poor country but it meant a neutral country..
Cool I can work with that 😃 thanks for your input
I’m curious too and their feedback is great and can help Malaysians give tourists memorable experiences.
Love this video so far. Thank for sharing 😊😊

D Jameq Mosque is behind this building, around d colonial walk area, at d river of life, where d two river meets at a confluence, giving name to KL, Kuala is estuary n Lumpur is mud.

@@Chai_Travel It was a beautiful, bright day, u were lucky to catch many foreign tourists for d interview. Many of d colonial buildings in that area incl d old train station n old KTM admin office not far away were inspired by d Islamic Moorish n Mughal architecture. Another top notch vlog, Chai. I always heard Malaysian food was delicious so a little surprised some weren't impressed. I love seeing the women who aren't afraid to travel alone and happy to see they feel safe there. Thanks for the shoutout, man. It's really appreciated!

They are but it doesn't mean everyone likes it. It is like asking Westerners if they love durians.
That's something to be expected different people have different likes and dislikes what more people of different cultures. But in general most foreign tourists are appreciative of what we have to offer.
Yeah, the lady who wasn't really keen on the food was from North Korea!... Wow.. Didn't expect a North Korean and a woman at that, to come to Malaysia alone. 😁 Interesting.
Most of my foreign colleagues (middle eastern) most of them said that Malaysian foods aren't good as their home country's food and it's understandable bcs usually they only stick around KL and haven't travelled much

It's great that you also asked them the not so good experiences, and to be more specific about it too, for eg to point out more specifically where was it dirty. Hopefully the people in those places as well as the relevant authorities would take note and act immediately to rectify the situations.
About not liking the food, that is a very subjective issue and we cannot be surprised too much by it. For example someone may not like chilli and hot food, which is everywhere in malaysia, just like many people do not like durians, which are also everywhere in malaysia hahah!
Again, good job! Stay safe, have fun, and keep it up 👍

Batu caves is dirty for sure especially during thaipusam. But nothing we can do as it is a private property.
It is probably, as one of the interviewees suggested , the monkeys raiding the garbage bins for food.
@Steven S even with no monkeys at least half is from humans. Anyway my point is not about throwing, but no one wants to clean up properly there.

Sultan Abdul Samad Building is not a mosque.
It is an administration building for former Federated Malay States, part of Malaysia during the British Colony.
Wow, I thought I was standing in front of; Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad. Which is right behind there blending with the beautiful bricks. I’m feel slightly embarrassed. Thanks for correcting me 😊
@@Chai_Travel... The mosque is behind that building.
It is famous known as Masjid Jamek KL or KL Jamek Mosque.
Jamek is actually Arab word for main or central.
In 19 century, it is the main mosque in KL, especially for government officers.
The is the actual place where Kuala Lumpur get the name, Muddy River-mouth. Its where Gombak River and Klang River meet and it is muddy...

Even we as local here sometimes having bad experience with bad food.. but i really think it is normal with any country especially for tourist
I never expect for any Korean or Japanese to be liking our food so much I mean look at their food and ours. Its like water and flame, but each are unique and worth trying at least for experience. Heck I even once read about an Indonesian not liking our food bcoz they are just too curry-ly (???) But in a way I can understand it. And yeah...go travel! Other countries' food in your country is rarely gonna be the same as in the original place where they come from.
They must be tried Chinese food. That's why.
Exactly like Water and flame; They might Not Appreciate the Heavy Spicy food; but I LOVE IT. I love those taste in my mouth remain after I chew and swallow my food and it's like a Kick inside my mouth. But Heavy Spices doesn't go well with everybody; and it burns their stomach; too strong for them.
betul juga
bagi lidah selain sumatra maka akan berkurang bumbu dasarnya
meskipun resto padang ada di semua propinsi rata2 akan disesuaikan dg kondisi setempat
krn jika terlalu kuat bumbunya pasti byk yg nyerah

Batu caves memang kotor pun.
bagaimana?
