      First off they should not have used this stat on a new combination boiler instal as it does meet current building regulations . . From memory but lease read instructions to confirm . Turn off power to the Stat Recever boiler end . Then press the pairing button on the thermostat programmer unit . Then quickly turn on thermostat receiver at the boiler end when you have a solid red light it’s paired

    Hi thanks for the vid! I have a question - for some reason my time schedule is not working. I've set it up exactly as you've said and have the receiver on and set to automatic (if set to manual the green light comes on and the floor heats up fine). But on automatic, when it reaches the on time e.g. 7am, the green light does not come on at the receiver and nothing heats up. Should the receiver have the green light on when the time is triggered?

But the boiler does get louder when hot water is in use or heating is on. So don’t understand why the humming noise is there. I’ve checked the pressure. Wanted some advice before I call anyone out. If you reset you goimgntonhsve to set the time and pair again. Simply changing the setting to better ones is by far the best option

    Arrrggghhh what a crap thermostat make.ive got the rt310i and the receiver only has the solid red light. No green light. The gateway is on a green light but no matter what i do from my mobile no instructions seem to be hitting my receiver......painful. im freezing. Boiler is a new Valliant. Wish i had known how unintuituve salus is. Good video and well spoken. 👍

    • @timeintheuk
      @timeintheuk  Před 4 lety +3

      The thermostat shows the curren room temp . When u hit the up arrow that's the target temp for your room and should be set to above the current room temp to bring it up you should have a red and green light on the receiver next to the boiler to indicate your heatings on . Message back with your findings

      On the receiver until next to the boiler slide the bottom slider to the right . That's manual move and your heating will be on constant . So I will need to turn off to stop overheating . Likes and subscription would be greatly appreciated as it really helps the channel

      Double check your tines and settings.. Does a. Neigh four have the same unit. Does your boiler have a aqua comfort setting turned on. Check for a green light on the recever whe it Comes on at unwanted times

    Salus have the rudest customer service helpline I have ever spoken to. I am reporting Salus to our boiler supplier, Imragas. I expect Salus to have an interest in keeping their customers with fully working products, not just to turn over a profit, as there customer advisor told me. I asked him straight out "So you're not interested in keeping your customers happy with a product that works to its specifications?" And all I got from Salus was "We're not interested in upgrading customers to a product that works better, because of a faulty unit, we will only replace your control unit with the same model" I replied "Even if that control unit has a warranty failure, and a terrible manual, and a horrible interface making up 90% of your service complaints?" Answer "Yes, we're not interested in keeping our customers happy like that, you'll just get the same model back, we'll never upgrade you." My control units capacitors don't take 10 minutes to discharge, the advisor said wait 24 hours. Who would be happy with this in the middle of winter? What a disgusting attitude Salus have.

    YES!!! it certainly IS A BIT FRONT HEAVY!!! 5:55
    Personally I would say it's F*****G IRRITATING and BADLY DESIGNED!!
    It literally NEVER stands up for more than a couple of minutes before it goes crashing to the ground like yours just did!
    Talk about POOR DESIGN!! Seriously!! Did nobody notice this during the production trials????
    I honestly despair how this could be designed so badly, a 10 year old school kid could of done better!
