McTigue97 that would have been LEGENDARY. Speaking of, besides the later issues with the arrows, Rosberg was consistently fighting for podiums. I’m seeing more and more Lewis’s move to Merc really wasn’t that crazy. I think Schumi’s underperformance diluted the car. Idk, I mean look at Nico in 2012, the car was there a lot. And now that I’m basically done with 2010, it was even better then. Do you think Hamilton’s move was a surprise?

@@CYMotorsport Schumacher's underperformance? I don't think you saw the season, Schumacher qualified 4th in Australia and ran 3rd until the gearbox failed, qualified 3rd in Malaysia, pole in Monaco, podium in Valencia, qualified 2 tenths off pole at Silverstone for 3rd, qualified 4th in Germany, qualified 4th at Monza, ran up the front fighting for the podium majority of the race in Spa with Raikkonen and Vettel, qualified 6th in Austin when the car was absolutely dreadful. The only time Rosberg had the edge was China, and when he got promoted by Schumacher's penalty in Monaco, Rosberg never ran near the front in 2012, where as if you look back at the majority of races, Schumacher was generally always fighting the front guys who were in superior cars. Schumacher just didn't finish much races because of the poor reliability of his car, and the crash that cost him pole in Monaco. Where on earth have you seen Rosberg fighting for consistent podiums in 2012? Are you sure you actually saw the season?

If Hamilton hadn't been screwed by the team's failings he would have won in Spain, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, and he would have won in Brazil if Hulkenberg hadn't hit him. He lost further points by being rammed by Maldonado and Grosjean in Valencia and Spa. Button's only major loss of points from circumstances outside his control was in Italy (where he was behind Hamilton anyway). Hamilton should have been fighting Vettel and Alonso for the title and about 100 points clear of Button.

The season where ALL the champions from the millenium, were present:
    Schumacher: 00-04

    Hamilton: 08 - 14-15 - 17-19
    Button: 09
    Vettel: 10-13
    Rosberg: 16
7 different winners in the first 7 races. 8 different drivers and 6 different teams won races. Midfield teams were fighting for wins and got podiums. A Battle down to the last race between Alonso and Vettel with even more drama to add to it in Brazil. A lot of exciting races. Michael's last pole and podium. A grid of 24 cars and drivers and probably the best grid in terms of talented drivers in the history of F1.
This is definitely the best season I've seen in F1. With 2010-2003-2008-2007 up there.
The V8 era, from 2006 until 2013 provided amongst the best seasons in F1. It would've been perfection in my book if we had those thunderous V10s in those cars instead. Although those V8s were still insane. The V6T(H) provides the worst seasons for sure. 2017 and 2018 could've been up there but... A competitive mid-field doesn't compare with competion at the top.
EDIT: Also that 2012 McLaren is probably the most beautiful F1 car I've laid eyes on. I'm not a particular fan of old F1s from 90s and below, the 02 to the 2013 cars are more my appeal.

you mean the colors for the teams that year or the color grading after effects? i think you know why for the effects I sometimes change the image (copyright so I can keep the video up for fair use laws) but the teams colors throw me off every time haha especially McLaren

2012 was the first full season I watched. I'd seen bits since about 2009, and I started watching full time about midway through 2011. For 2012 I watched every race. What a time to start watching!

@@Sn1zzle Schumacher had mediocre teammates. Really bad for a world champion. And losing to Nico after you beat him 3 seasons in a row isn't the embarrassment you think it is. The same Nico beat Schumacher for 3 years in a row from 2010-2012. And Schumacher was the same age Alonso was now. So the age excuse doesn't hold. Hamilton was considered one of the fastest drivers and best natural talent on the grid. That is why Niki Lauda and Ross Brawn begged him to come to Mercedes and take Schumacher's seat. But I guess you know talent and greatness better than them.
