Oh my gosh, you two are hilarious!! Never a dull moment…I just love it!! However, I absolutely get zero stitching accomplished while watching your videos…don’t want to miss one single action or facial expression from you two! Your WIPS and finishes were beautiful! I enjoyed seeing all of your market purchases and especially your fabrics, Jane! You need to hold your head high and flaunt those fabric purchases…I enjoy seeing the different fabric colors and have been prompted to buy a certain color because you shared your haul. Believe me, we all have more stash than we probably should have but by golly, we’ve got what we need when we want it! I like how one CZcamsr referred to her stash…she stated I’m a collector and my stash is what I collect and I enjoy looking at it and touching it! Oh Jane kudos to you with 46 ct. you can do it! Magnifier in hand. It isn’t as hard as you may think. I have several pieces that I used 45 ct Florence and regular DMC full cross. Loved every minute. I can send you pictures if you like. Next step 56ct. I also have a piece done on that with DMC. Thanks again for another great video. Always look forward to them
Just discovered you , and loved every minute, so I’ve spent all weekend binge watching from episode 1! I have walked around with my iPad and ear buds and laughed and smiled all weekend. My husband said whatever I was watching was certainly putting me in a good mood! You can certainly tell your friendship is special. Julie you showed some patterns I hadn’t seen before - thanks for enabling me! I have the same problem with knots in some threads but I never thought to name them. So now instead of just getting annoyed I call them out by their proper names! I love seeing your progress on your WIPs and I know I’ve purchased a chart and supplies eager to start and then decided I didn’t like it. It’s all part of our hobby which I do not want to be without. Jane, I hope that you will find the joy in the things that you purchase when you share them with us. We love seeing them and you gave me some ideas of different fabrics to try that I might not have thought of if you hadn’t shared them. I may have gone to Seraphim and bought a couple of fabrics. 😊 there is only one sad thing today. I am now completely caught up on all of your videos up to the first one that I saw of yours. This is the first flosstube I have watched of yours! I don’t think I have laughed so much watching a flosstube before! Julie, your story of making the pillow roll was so funny and I could related to everything that happened! I have tried to iron interfacing & accidentally had the wrong bumpy side up before & had it stick to the iron. I don’t know about the Tylenol trick, I’ll have to go back & see that flosstube! Jane, all the fabric you bought is beautiful! I especially liked seeing the ones from seraphim! Such beautiful colors! I need to check them out! Thanks for an enjoyable hour! You two were making me laugh so much today. Jane, I didn’t notice that Peter 2.0 had the same color on his vest and head until you pointed it out. But maybe, the chick has collected the bunny hair and knitted him a vest, so that’s why it looks similar!! And Julie, I have ironed the interfacing to my iron before too. I use used dryer sheets to get the gunk off. Just iron on them and the iron is wonderfully clean. Thanks for a fun visit.

I love your videos. I started doing cross stitch last August and FlossTube videos have been so very helpful in learning about this hobby. I am amazed at the variety of fabric colors and kinds of floss that are currently available. The last time I took an interest in cross stitch was between 1995 and the early 2000's. During that time I bought several kits that all came with 14 count aida. But I never started them. Last August a FlossTube video made me remember that I had a box of cross stitch kits somewhere! So I started them. I don't really like the aida but thrifty me I am using it. I have broken up stitching the old aida kits with stitching new charts on new fabrics. Love the new fabrics! Thank you for sharing your journey.

Another fantastic video. Julie, your pillow is gorgeous. Jane, love your bunny piece. The fabrics you were kind enough to share with us are beautiful. You work very hard and deserve them. I recently bought a piece of Cedar River linen in 46 count! We can do it. If you want to start a project on it together let me know. I'm thinking a monochromatic piece as I work to adjust to it. I'm going to try 100 3 silks on mine. Thank you both for all your work in putting these videos together.

Hello ladies, I was watching the latest video and subscribed. But I had to come back to this one to see the linen. Give yourself some grace as you would someone else who bought some fabric! I’m turning 70 this year and I’m still optimistically kitting up projects. I’ll probably not get to them all but I’ve got options!
I bought four words of the year from Under the Woolen Willow, one for me and three for my daughter! She had a rough year health wise and she deserves to have 3 words this year!

Jane and Julie, you both absolutely make my day! Ya’ll crack me up and it’s wonderful. Thank you for doing FlossTube. Jane, I know it’s very difficult to share some of your fabric stash with the community and I understand. I am severely chronically ill at a young age and I never really got the chance to actually work so I depend on SSI and my Mom for income. So, I do save up to buy one piece of fabric and I don’t know if I will ever have the money to be able to stitch a piece with silks but that’s ok. I live vicariously through FlossTube and it makes me happy. But I have a legitimate panic attack when I go to buy fabric because I have saved up and what if what I think will look nice online turns out to not go at all and then I’m out all that money. So, when you share your fabrics, especially those where they don’t have them in my LNS then it really helps me to make a decision on what is worth taking a look at. So, don’t feel bad about your stash first of all you worked for that stash and second by sharing it with us, it helps us out. Just another perspective. Julie, thank you so much for supporting Jane and being so bright and bubbly. I would love to learn your recipes! I wish you both were my grandmothers. May The Lord Bless You Both and your families abundantly.
