      What are you trying to code?

    • @julianmcalister3247
      @julianmcalister3247 Před 5 lety

      Well, I coded my daytime running lights to OFF, my doors to lock at 12km, my flashers to light up at locking/unlocking w/ beep, and my windows to roll up with the key fob. Well, throughout the night things started working like my flashers at locking and my doors lock at 12km, but I still have my daytime running lights and no beep. I think my locking control module might be shot because sometimes my key fob will work and sometimes it won’t. I don’t see the daytime running lights being a part of the Central locking control module. Or am I wrong?

      @julianmcalister3247 Před 5 lety

      Hi Aron,
      In your 2003 E46 the connector is under the dash, on drivers side. It doesn’t uses the 20 pin connector (thats for the first e46). It uses a 16 pin connector, so you dont need any adapter.
      You can’t do that with this software, you'll need NCS Expert to do that. Check this video: czcams.com/video/tK4hjN4hWbc/video.html

    I have an 1999 E39 and whenever I hit the continue button, the IKE and LCM show up as not found, and it is unable to identify my car. I have read a bunch of different stuff online such as soldering pins 7 and 8 together in the scanner. My friend and I have the 20 pin adapter, and my computer definitely has the correct drivers and IS recognizing that the scanner is inserted into the USB. Have any idea what the issue could be? I've been searching forums to no avail :(

      It's just to test if you are connected to the car. Although if it says 'Writing completed' it theory it should be fine... Have you checked all the options in the alarm, acoustic and visual?

      +bryan reyes You mean angel eyes as DRLs? I think it can't be done just with software :( Maybe somebody can help on this, I'd like to know as well...

    • @MatthewMaok
      @MatthewMaok Před 8 lety

      I think for the halo lights to turn on when you unlock the car. You have to tap them into the footwell lights (inside the car) that way they turn on and off when you lock and unlock them though it'll be at the same time as the interior lights. Also to have them always running, maybe hook them up to the DRL wiring which is probably the high beams. Then I think the PA software might have DRL coding to enable on or off.

      +Hassan Khalil Hi Hassan. Do you have an alarm installed in you car? Does it have the red led light on the rear view mirror?

    • @hassankhalil401
      @hassankhalil401 Před 8 lety

      +Ryaniwk idont think that it has that red light ! ( that mean I don't have alarm system??)

    • @Ryaniwk
      @Ryaniwk  Před 8 lety

      +Hassan Khalil Unfortunately yes :( Although you can still code the hazards to blink when you open/close your car. A friend did that on my old 2004 E46 (without alarm) a few years ago with NCS expert. Not 100% if you can do it with PA Soft.

    • @yoyorally
      @yoyorally Před 7 lety

      I have a 1999 e46 without alarm and you cand set the hazard lights to blink when you open/close the car with PA Soft.

      Try install the drivers (they should be inside Drivers folder in the cd) with the scanner connected to the car, car on position 2. It should work :)

    Hi guys, thanks for the video. I followed the tutorial step by step but I can't get the siren or the warning lights to go off, I know the interior sensor works because I wave my hand in the cabin and the clown nose blinks fast but I can't get my siren or warning lights to work. I already had the corners programmed to flash when I lock/ unlock the car but that's it. I'm using P.A. Soft for the coding. If you have any idea of what can be wrong I'm more than thankful!

      Oi! O carro tem que estar na posição 2 na chave. Se da erro pode ser os drivers do pc. Ou então algo de errado com o adaptador:(
