Good question, this is very common scenario. Separate your applications from your family. They have to take interview, I would recommend you to finish your stamping first and then attach your stamped visa in their scheduling to make their stamping easy

Am going to reply from my experience. I have never used the place of birth from my passport anywhere else. My first passport had my village where I was born. If you have a compelling reason to change it ? I would say, wait till you get your stamping done. Getting an appointment these days is like a Golden ticket. Specially during Summer. Good luck

hi , the petition document for dependents is just a piece of paper that is coming along with your petition for the extension of I-94. apart from that when it comes to stamping even if you don't have that document you can still go ahead and submit primary applicants i-797 and get it stamped. hope it helps

You had the understanding right. You don't have to reschedule. Your husband's i797 should do just fine.
