Even going over the fundamentals again I pick up on something I didn't know... Always worth the time. Great video, thank you.
Very helpful! Bought the device hooked it up to my moderately old Onkyo receiver and a Feit smart switch and everything works as described. Thank you, we now have our excellent stereo system revived and updated. Much better than listening to music on a Alexa device. Thanks again for a great video.
I need to thank you for this jewel of a video. I have a KA-3500 also, so seeing your video was a big help. Its a fabulous looking Amp !
Thanks for that from the UK. Very handy to be able to stream tunes from your phone. Also if anyone is visiting, makes it easy to have their taste in music available say for a party. I have some power sockets with integrated USB outlets on them, so no need for an adapter.
Those KA-3500’s are sweet little integrated amplifiers.
This is my old receiver exactly. Thank you for this so I don't screw up.
This is a great idea! If it made sense to repair my KA 5500 I would do exactly what you have done.
Nice amp , I have the 3300 which I bought new. Still goes great.
Thank you for the video! Just what I need for a new to me Technics SA-500 with Dynaco A-25 speakers 🙌🏽
Nice system :) Cheers
Still have that same Kenwood Amp. A lot of heavy metal got played thru that thing!
Thank you just exactly what I wanted to know
Great explanation.
I was using a Bluetooth receiver similar to this for a while to turn my Klipsch ProMedia computer speakers to a Bluetooth system streamer - however I swapped that out to an Smart Device like an Amazon Echo (4th Gen or Older) with an auxiliary output. Instead of Bluetooth you can actually stream audio to it. Now I don’t think the streaming specs match that of say a dedicated audio streaming device but for the price of about 20 bucks it’s hard to beat. You can also Bluetooth to it from a Laptop or TV for a “wireless speaker” solution. You will still need a receiver for the passive speakers
Great tutorial✌️
Record is an output on an amp. you would want to use Play for input.
Thanks for this informative video. I myself have a Pioneer SX 727 receiver I purchased new in 1974. The tape loop terminals are labeled “rec(ord)” and “mon(itor)”. When hooking up a tape recorder the “rec” connectors take the signal of the source (turntable for example”) out to the tape deck and the signal from the tape deck is connected to the Pioneer “mon” inputs.
The “mon” connectors on the Pioneer are equivalent to your “play” connectors I believe. At 2:59 I think you meant to say the Bluetooth receiver should be connected to the “play” inputs. Anyway, great video and I look forward to more.
The price definitely BLEW ME AWAY 😂
Thank you very very much
Thanks for the advise, i order already a auris .
Enjoy it
Thanks for showing
Another great video. Hate to see asking you questions but I just got Auris BlueMe Pro. Moved my heavy stereo cabinet out from the wall and hooked up everything ( almost everything ) but I used the fibre optic input and outputs. Moved the cabinet back thinking was good to go. Nope. No sound. So moved the cabinet out again and hooked up the supplied RCA cables and worked great. So I'm wondering is the optical inputs just for sound on a TV? I have other stereos in the house hooked to the tv that way. Or am I missing something. Thanks again for all your help. You're the best. 👍
I have a vintage rca new vista solid state console from 1965 with tuner, phono and tape input. Can I connect the external speaker output from an echo dot to the tape in. Concerned about line level. I tried it once and after about 2 hours of listening suddenly the speakers started to fuzz. Doesn’t seem like any long term damage was done. Looking for any help. Would it be better to add BT and BT echo that way?
Hi, what i want to know, just like you play audio from your phone, can you play your tv audio through the bluetooth receiver aswell? I have a smart tv with bluetooth capability.
I'm looking to add a device like this to my vintage receiver, to pair with an Amazon Firestick connected to a TV. And hopefully be able to control the volume with the Firestick remote. Would this device be able to handle that?
Want to do this but driving me mad can't find a double pin power adaptor for my amplifier help please
How does this Auris now compare to the Bluedento, Audiengine and Ifi?
I’m running two vintage receivers and can’t decide. Help! :) Great reviews btw. Thanks
Thank you so much for your response. I will buy the device today
Let us know how you like the device. Thanks for watching.
Unfortunately I couldn't find the devise in the market
@@breakerbroke23 good morning
I got the Bluetooth adopter device and I would to take your advice whether it can be hooked to technics graphic equaliser instaed of amplifier directly. Thanks and Regards
It's working nice and really really thanks for that. I got a nice innovative idea from you and now I am enjoying my music with my vintage amplifier ❤️
That was my first stereo system.
seems like the best output resolution of BluMe Pro is ever 24bits 44.1kHz, right ? Can we have better resolutions ?
Hi Thanks a lot for a valuable demo. Can I use that for my technics vintage amplifier
Oh yes you can, and it will sound great.
Hi there Nice video's on your channel.
I have a uncommon question i think 🙂
There are units that can send audio and receive audio you reviewed them in an previous video i was wondering if there is a few options available:
1. BT device in Transmitting audio mode. Connected to an Cellphone, can it record the audio while filming with the cellphone camera.
2. 2 exact the same dual devices. Can they be paired to each-other (input) jack -> bt transmit bt receiver -> jack (output)
Those 2 options i can't find any information yet about.
By this device online srreaming is possible or not
Good day - can u pls inform what device should I use, in order to pair an old receiver to wireless bluetooth speakers?
I have an old Technics receiver & old Sony turntable which is hooked up to the receiver and a Denon CD player, which is also hooked up to the receiver...and i want to get rid of my old speakers and want to use wireless bluetooth speakers....sounds crazy but i don't want to buy another new turntable or CD player, but want to enjoy music from new wireless bluetooth speakers
Should i use a transmitter or receiver? If 'transmitter', which device you can advice?
I'll be very pleased to hear your detailed reply - - many thanks from İstanbul, Turkey
Hi
Great video. I'm in the UK and we use 230v . Whats the AC switch thing called that you've plugged into the back of your amp please.
I use a AC phone charger, like the one that comes with your phone. Cheers
So I'm trying to have a set up where I can play my records through bluetooth speakers around the house. If I get this device, would I be able to connect a bluetooth speaker to it so I can hear my records outside the record room?
No, to do that you will need a BT Transmitter. Check out this video... czcams.com/video/nEqR7fqFmkI/video.html
I show how to transmit just after the 2 min mark. Cheers
Hey. I have a question. Can you hook up a vintage record player to the phono input and then the Bluetooth receiver to the aux, so you can play the record player through a Bluetooth speaker ?
Yes hook up the TT to your PHONO input, then you can add a BT transmitter to your Tape out or Pre out or headphone jack out. I have a few videos on this in my playlist.
Make any home stereo a Bluetooth transmitter.
Nice trick, and what about the CD player, can it also be connected to a tape, tuner or aux input?
Yes most receivers have the same input sensitivity with the PHONO being the exception.
The Phono is way to sensitive and it has RIAA equalization so that input will not work... Cheers
This is a question about our old unsupported livio radio. Can you suggest a workaround that use a Bluetooth receiver to play audio content? It has aux in and stereo line out
I would suggest using the MYPIN Bluetooth receiver and plug it to the AUX input on your radio. I suggest this particular device because it has the extra output to drive the mismatch AUX level your radio has. Here is a video on the MYPIN. czcams.com/video/1RfTmxm3uXI/video.html
Sorry for late reply.
@@breakerbroke23 Thanks much for your reply. I just ordered two units. I hope you will be compensated. I couldn’t connect with your store.
Rob
@@robsand8037 Thank you sir, I may or may not be comped as that depends on Amazon. To be honest, it is all about the Music. Cheers my friend.
Do you have to use a preamp, or can you go directly into an amp that's not integrated.
If your amplifier has a volume control on it then yes, If it a straight amplifier, only one set of inputs and no vol control then you will need some way to adjust the volume.
Any guidance on adding bluetooth to a really vintage system? I have my Grandpa's 1946 console system with no RCA inputs. BTW I am in the SLC area too.
Does it have any inputs?
@@BLCKPRTY no, but the 78 turntable must connect to the tube amp somehow
Is the audio quality discernible between the Auris and the Mypin? Would you say this is worth the extra money? I don't need the screen or digital just RCA out. Thanks
Yes the audio quality of the AURIS is much better than the MyPin, And yes it is worth the extra$.....
Understand I'm not a self described "audiophile" just a person that wants good sound and doesn't buy into the notion more $ mean better sound. Some of the worst sounding systems I had heard were ( "audiophile" ) big $ systems, bland and not exciting to listen to. This is all subjective and IMHO.
Cheers
@@breakerbroke23 thank you. I watched many of your videos. After analyzing many factors, my system limitations, how I intend to use this and the features, I ordered the cheap mypin, the one that's $25. Let's see... thanks again
@@breakerbroke23 I agree. I know people that buy records just because of the marketed quality not because they like the music on the record. If the bluetooth will make me hear more music easily, from the backyard for example, at a decent quality, that will make my life happier. Thabks for your review. I bought the cheaper one and so far no complaints. I even stream HiRes audio from my PC to the living room and sounds great.
Hi. Is there a work around that I can use a transmitter to connect amplifier to bluetooth headphones to listen to my vinyl
Yes this is possible and I do it often, I also use this technique to listen to cassette tapes :) Hope this video helps..... czcams.com/video/nEqR7fqFmkI/video.html
@@breakerbroke23o
hi. is this a one way only solution as in i could play music from a phine to my amp. I assume so because its goint to the input on the amp. i was also hoping to have the amp play to blue tooth earphones, in thay case would I need an input and input similar to the tape set uo? thanka for the video. cheera
Oh heck yea! I have a couple videos on that. here is a newer one.... czcams.com/video/nEqR7fqFmkI/video.html
The first one I made many years ago was because I wanted to listen to cassettes outside. (yea, yea I know) I also used this technique to listen to my CB Radio outside. I call this "fun with Bluetooth" Cheers
@@breakerbroke23 many thanks and apologies for the appalling texting initially. 😊
No.. Your good my friend. Cheers
I have that amp!
Hello brother im searching a good dac
Hows the sound quality of this auris DAC ? I have Pioneer HPM 100 with kenwood ka 801 if a
I add this in my amp sound quality was improve ?
On your Amp and spks... the Auris will sound dang near CD quality IMHO
EDIT.... BluMe PRO that is
I take it it obviates the need for hard-wired speakers.
I don't think so. I just posted a question. I think this is a one way I to the amp. I was hoping to have that but also link to my blue tooth ear buds. that's may need an output setting from the amp like with a tape deck. I'm hoping for an answer. cheers
This addition is so you can stream music from your phone/tablet/computer into your stereo system. There are stereo speakers that have built in amplifiers and BT receivers.
Me again lol.I was reading that when you do what you just did even though the volume isn’t all the way up but your phone is that the amplifier is using full power and that’s not a good thing in audio karma. True or false?

You know, there is no sinewave coming out of that Bluetooth receiver. Its square wave trash with missing portions thrown out during A/D conversion. You should be using a class D amp., the Chinese favorite. It's called garbage played on garbage equipment. Nice Kenwood.
Copy that :)
It seemed to be working fine with his receiver.
