@@RBTheMechanic it’s throwing at pedal code and throttle code . I remember the first time the pump went bad it threw the same codes so I replaced the accelerator and throttle body but the whole time it was the pump.
Is it possible something could clog the lines? Or carbon build up on the injectors? This 2017 300s is cranking but in the afternoons it's just turning over repeatedly until it finally starts but nothing is wrong with the starter I believe

Having same issue crank but no start. Thought it was the fuel pump but when I jumped the fuel pump with a Milwaukee battery 18v the pump runs like a champ and lets the engine start/run. Tested voltage at the connector and I’m getting less then 5v. What is the voltage the pump should be getting? From what I could find it should be around 12v. Btw I’m getting a good ground at the connector.

What’s the issue did u try the starter fluid and scan the car for codes by the way the connector dosent connect well on these after marker pump pull out the seal in the female and connect again see if it makes good conection
@@RBTheMechanic You also run the risk of fire. Just get the tool and you can find it on Ebay for cheap. "that's what I ended out doing". It made the job so much easier. I had to change the transfer pump also because that is where the filter is. The clogged filter is what caused the whole problem. It also made a number of relays go bad.

Changed my fuel pump on a 2011Chrysler 300c everything connected and it still won’t crank. It was making a humming noise from the back before it stop cranking
I changed out the pump and still nothing , it only cranks and I changed out the camshaft sensor as well but nothing, I used the starter fluid and it started up but died off again, the pump I installed is doing the same thing the last one was doing which is making a ticking noise instead of humming or pumping fuel
@@RBTheMechanic update 09/21/2020, i went outside this morning and swapped out the new fuel pump for the old one and the car turned on for about a minute and died off again. i checked the connector for the fuel pump and noticed that the prong which sits inside on the fuel pump + side is melted and underneath the fuel pump where the connector connects it is brown and burnt, could this be the reason? would i have to change out the connector with a pigtail or should i use the one that came w the new fuel pump?

Angelyk Jones Jones just diagnose it these Chrysler’s are well known for fuel pump I did so many can’t even keep a count and once u change it make sure the connector is clicked in 100% because one time we changed pump and car didn’t start and we went wild checking everything else but then discovered the connector didn’t lock in propperly

Ok before trying anything else let me tell u this once I changed my pump it didn’t start I was confused but then I check and check I found out that the connector wasn’tconnected all the way and I had another Chrysler 300 few months later same thing I changed the pump and it didn’t start what the issue was the plastic seal inside the connector didn’t let the pins make contact please check ur connector I took out the plastic seal and it connected solid and worked. Let me know if that worked for u

Louis Ghesley check ur fuel pump connector when we relplaced this pump car didn’t start up the connect went in but it didn’t click alll the way in I started checking other stuff voltage in wiring but then I figured out check yours also try starting fluid if it kicks on then ur on right track
Jaidy Darlen so ur starter dosent come on? Check fuse and if u can check to see and swap starter relay .. after that try starting it .. if it still don’t crank u need to check power to the small cane that controls the starter

Most shops will charge u like $700-$900 the pump it self is like $350
Mine came out to $370 for both pumps but I have a 06 srt8

If it dosent turn over try jump starting and if it makes clunk sound it’s bad starter

Check ur connector on the fuel pump mine didn’t start the connector didn’t connect the seal inside didn’t allow it to close properly

Did u scan for codes? Also clean out ur throttle that could be one reason.
I clean throttle and new EGR valve new air filter as well

No I can only remind u to keep u tank above quarter tank or no less than quarter tank so pump stays cool and might protect it

can you check the fuel pressure on this car without going into the tank? is there a fuel pressure valve to check from?

How many miles does this car have?? 2015 shouldn't have fuel pump issues unless miles are high.
90k these cars have issues with fuel pump I had Chrysler 300 failed at 55k miles same set up and same pump

Jaidy Darlen when u turn the key dose the engine crank? Dose the belt spin?
RB The Mechanic It doesn’t crank the engine and nether does the belt spin.
Jaidy Darlen so ur starter dosent come on? Check fuse and if u can check to see and swap starter relay .. after that try starting it .. if it still don’t crank u need to check power to the small cane that controls the starter
