They are just showing off at this point, easily the best band on the planet right now, their talent is unparalleled.
They’re all incredibly talented but Cavs has seemed like a monster lately
Doing the work of two men ;)
He's better than ever on Changes!
@@cocuto864 he’s 100% the forefront of Changes
Cavs wins MVP for Changes! Although they are all stellar as always.
He even released a solo album called CAVS, it bangs
Those mustaches are fire!
Always nice to hear ANY of the stuff Amby's playing on his keyboard during live shows. It's not that quiet this time, thank you !
The most genre-fluid band.
for sure. they can do anything and still have it sound like their signature psychedelic sound
Yeah I like that even on something like Infest The Rats' Nest that signature sound is still there.
right there with ween and zappa i generally seem to write and like genre fluid stuff for some reason
with the most gender-fluid listeners (if we don't count 100 gecs)
@@cringeceo4626 so damn true i listen to both
Still waiting for a ska album
the best use of Amby's saxophone
If I was on death row and were allowed to listen to the entire discography of a band back to back prior to my execution, I'd 100% choose King Gizzard. No only are pretty much all their albums fucking bangers, with their output there would be 3 new albums out by the time I finished a single one. Jesus, this song goes so hard!
Damn that’s oddly specific lmao. Same tho
Why would you be on death row and be allowed to listen to the entire discography of a band back to back prior to your execution?
@tangosucka1142 why wouldn't you?
Drip drip from Ice V don't slip
Every time I listen to this song I catch myself dancing. This is my favorite song ever because it makes my problems all go away and I focus on dancing and the smooth instrumentals. Thank you kglw.
Question - Is this song inspired in any capacity by Kurt Vonnegut's "Cat's Cradle"?
Or just simply science?
@@wordytoed9887 idk nerd u tell me
Ice V has arrived!
The ability for these guys to consistently, successfully recreate their sound is unparalleled.
If this is your opinion, then it says to me you haven't listened to as much music as you think you have 🤣
@@6XGuitarXheroX6 what?
@@freethekingfisher6032 he doesn't know what he's talking about.
@@HAZARDOUS88 hypocrite
@@freethekingfisher6032 huh?
Just saw them in Minneapolis. It always amazes me how they never miss a beat.
Until they're Mr.Beat
@@williammichel952 aye
was tripping balls at that show they brought me into their little cult of sound lol i absolutely need to seem them again
The groove is real.
waiting for this adaptation since the manga's release
Hell yeah, been waiting for them to come back to this stage for years.
And the craziest thing about this
They have since released (2) more albums
And all three of them are 🔥
Love these guys
WAITED FOR EVER FOR THIS HOLY SHIT
ITS THE BEST. FUCKIN BAND IN THE WORLLLLLD
The Absolute madlads are back.
KGLW are 100% in the top 5 best live bands to see at this point in time. The way these guys feed off eachother is absolutely incredible.
En esta sesión se aprecian muchísimo mejor todos los instrumentos y las interacciones
Gracias Diosito por hacerme fan de King Gizzard
Best band ever
Best vibes i had until now with kglw , reminds me the good old times listen "the river" alot
what a band
Definitely one the King Gizzard of all time
Holy crap, out of nowhere!!!! So hyped!!!!
Powerful instrumentals, stunning perfection in interlacing the bunch of sounds, rhythms & technical skills 🎼🎵🎶🎹🎸🥁🎷🎤, still so suggestive ✨✨✨✨💫
Yeah! Waiting for the video of this for so long! (In Gizzy months)
My calculations say 1 Gizz month equals 3 human days, does that sound about right?
I love this song so much, makes me dance, sing. Goosebumps.
Always mixing it up! Great stuff!!
I feel like it's kinda rare these days to see a live performance outshine the record version, but holy shit did they nail this.
The mixing is incredible here great job
If only YT didnt kill the quality quite a bit with compression, Id rip this entire live session
I'm so fucking blasted I just took the greatest 10 minute shit of my life
Stoked!
The sound of love 💕
Love this song SO MUCH!!! It is just perfect! Happy Friday ya'll! 🙂
You, too! THANKS!
I’ve been seeing live music for 20 years this year.. KGLW have been some of the most exciting music shows I have ever seen in that time span.
I love this!!!!
Joey's little guitar fill at 4:15 is super heavy
It's totally fine Joey didn't break down dancing on this one. I did it myself, involuntarily 🕺🔥❤️🔥
I f' 'king swear if these lads are ever planning to visit Japan in another residency tour like the recently wrapped up US tour, they better be showing up at The First Take while also making the best scenes at every (possible) Zepp venues across Japan!😤
So damn good.

W00OoOOOO! 3:51 on out... oiyeah. The world's best band?
Lastly, I just want to shoutout Stu's vocal performance here and whoever exactly wrote that line (without ignorning the imperial magnitude of Ambrose's and Joey's talents). The ice queen hypnotically sways.
Not bad for a bunch of nice guys.
Return to Detroit! We love you!
Yesssss
Santana V... excellent!
Great drumming!
Best version ♥
que buena banda lpm
crispy
God damn, Ambrose is killing it in this one!
this song without half naked Joey just isn't the same :(
He should have shown some class and removed his shirt for the performance.
Goosebumps
Cool!
Lukey and Amb's saxophone come out so clean, I kinda like this more over the album version
My soul has ascended

Oooh, it’s good to be back
Holy cow Amby tore it up!
Groovy 😎
I'm a huge fan!
Esta canción es una total locura, me recordó a los primeros álbumes como Quarters! y un poco a Float Along.
king gizzard and the afro beats lizard wizard 🖤
dudes rock
Why do they sound much better live than on their records?
Fantastic! This is the best rock band of our time!
No words
wish i knew this band earlier 🤯🤯🤯🤯 besttttt ❤
❤️✨
Asheville 2019 and 2022 !!!
2019 is on vinyl and youtube (fan footage, Gizz production).. check it out !!!
I just got the Adelaide 2021 "official bootleg" on vinyl in the mail the other day from Needlejuice. 5 sides of pure bliss. One side is just an etching and doesn't play anything.
THIS BASSLINE FUCKIN ROCKS
WILL WE SURVIVE?
💥
We hope you guys explore the Funky way of music it would be very interesting ♥️
I wish joey walker was my dad 😭
The album Ice Death will go down in histoty IMO almost all the songs are 10s
6:29
I feel rattled
will we survive Ice V?
Lukeyyyyyy
Stu wearing a Jedi costume? Hehe
Amby plays the saxophone
they all could be one of my uncle
Does canyone see any Frank Zappa influence here or is it just me?
Frank Zappa, The Grateful Dead, and Trey Anastasio were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies, and the baby looked at me
@@CJS-Music who was the baby and what it look like
Wich genre is this masterpiece?
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
It’s psychedelic progressive rock and jazz fusion. There are plenty of great jam bands in the same vain. Like return to forever, king crimson, the mahavishnu orchestra and whatnot
Is it just me or do they look pretty tired or kinda moody? Apart from that it's a fantastic performance as always :) Wish them all the best :)
I'd say they're more in deep concentration. It's a one-take studio session, after all. And they're probably all completely sober.
Long tour
@@jamesguest4338 of course they have a long tour, I just noticed it for the first time in a video of them
This has Rodriguez vibes
like the song one
What is this song about???
Lyrically the song describes a war between a person from Ganymede with the ability to turn everything into ice and humans. However there are several literary references to Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, which is about nuclear waste. So it could al be a metaphor for nuclear waste
This is so great. Live playing, but not too loud to where the listener can't discern what each player is doing. Their loud shows are too loud and muddle everything.
edit: thanks for the likes guys, I'm going through a rough time
This version is way too short
more like Ice-spy with my little eye
more like ice Vbucks
from metallica
more like Ice spice
I don't mean to ruffle any feathers here but,.....I'm starting to think that King Gizz are better than Tool
this is a safe space
you are correct
you know? the taylor swift of Metal
idk maybe it's just me
Just another funkadelic-soft machine tribute band.
You just listened to 1 of the 237 tracks in their discography (so far). 21 albums in and they have only just explored this kind of sound. Get over yourself and stop ruining music for others by trying to dismiss it and put it in a box.
Stop being pretentious, thanks!
@@jpgaw7175 That was supposed the be a joke sir. But given the many, many funkadelic-soft machine tribute bands on the circuit, I see why it was a little too subtle.
@@jpgaw7175 He wasn't dissing them, he was praising!!! Soft Machine/Funkadelic fusion is fucking fantastic!!!
Too fast for my taste
