From science to real life: Tackling relapsing malaria in the Amazon (short 2023 version)

A short film showcasing the implementation of the Tafenoquine Rollout STudy (TRuST) in Brazil. Study enrollment took place from September 2021 - August 2022. The study was sponsored by the Brazilian Ministry of Health and Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV).

On 5 June 2023, The Brazilian Ministry of Health announced that it would roll out tafenoquine and STANDARD G6PD testing nationwide, the first malaria-endemic country to do so.
