- DV Lottery info. This video is to address a couple of recent instances where other youtube channels have given incorrect information which can damage people's chances. I feel I need to create this video to warn people to be careful who they listen to. Listening to bad information can cost you your Greencard.

That’s a critical subject concerning DV lottery really . Many people are out there pretending to be experts while in fact they know very little or nothing about the process and they cause a lot of damage to selectees .
*The Lady seems to be misguiding people willingly and refusing to admit is even worse.
*The African brother is a different level of misguiding 🤦🏾♂️.

If you reread back the comments the woman made to you about what she said was going on for the person who was listening to you and tried to correct her and the motives she ascribed to them and how she attempted to demean you by how she referred to your expertise it is all pretty clear. A classic case of projection. You did really well in your response by only getting drawn in to call her clueless. She was incredibly provocative to you. Best wishes. Btw got another shot at DV2023

Thank you for clarifying about the passport rule I was in an argument today about this topic. I tried to explain within a private group but my fellow members were convinced the applicants with passport issues would be ineligible and would have to wait for dv 2024

1- Why the embassies don't schedule interviews in ascending order? It is obvious one with greater Case no gets an interview than the one with low case no at the same embassy and country????
2-- How is the progress of interview at the embassy of nairobi 🇰🇪 kenya?
3-- I have seen many people with case no greater that 55K have already been interviewed and issued visas. Do you think those people whose case number less than 55K could be denied until September by the US embassies since the visas are being taken by those with high case no?

5- HOW CAN WE SPEED UP THE DV INTERVIEWS AT NAIROBI BEFORE THE EXPIRY DATE?

1. It would never be perfect case number order because different people submit and get processed at different times. BUT it is clear they still don't follow the order when they can. Why? I don't know.
2. You can see the same data I can see.

Hello mr Simon I am the winner 2023 from Afghanistan and I submitted my ds260 I select Pakistan for my interview but now I can see there is many cases and low chance for getting interview soon should I change the interview location now or wait for kcc process my case is around 25000

after i completed my application and got the confirmation number page. i reloaded the page to apply for another person but i got an error message with resume entry button and after clicking it i got this message 'The information submitted has not been accepted because it matches a previous entry in our records. Individuals may only submit one entry per DV period. Duplicate entries will not be accepted . does that mean I'm out of the lottery because the system thinks i entered my data twice

What on earth are you saying. He reposted it in April, retitled it to being DV2023. I don't care HOW he screwed up. I care that he is telling DV2023 cases that they should not proceed. Don't be so quick to make foolish comments before engaging your thinking parts.

my question is, I was born in the very small town and the town name is on my birth certificate as a place of birth , my city is 3 hours driver away from my small town and it’s not on my birth certificate , when I apply I choose city of birth as unknown due to I can’t put the town as a city of birth.
my worry is, should I be selected for 2024 and consular on the day of interview see that I have town name on my place of birth but on my application, I said my city of birth is unknown, is this dilemma can lead me to fail my visa? ,
or on the day of DS260 I must complete the city of birth and use my small town or continues with city of birth as unknown as per application.

Hi Simon, my sister and her husband went for their DV interview on May 25th, 2022. My sister husband who is the principal applicate, did not take his HS diploma with him to the interview because he was told they will only ask for his WAEC certificate. US Embassy in Liberia did ask for his high diploma. What do they do now? He has his high school diploma.

hello , ll try to explain my situation because I haven't slept the last two nights for this; the doubt is all about the part "work/education/training information". My present employ is in a restaurant in Italy, where i am the restaurant manager and there is a question on the Ds-260 :"Does this job require at least 2 years of training of experience?" I answered yes, with all the duties and i did the same with my previously jobs:
-Bar manager
-administrative officer.
only today i saw the list of jobs of the US Department of Labor, and none of my works are on that list that should qualify me for the DV visa.
calculating that I should be qualified to the dv visa with my level of education, in fact to the box: "Number of educational institutions attended" I answered "3"
-1 diploma at the vocational school (5 years)
- 1 diploma at another vocational school
-- a school of higher education attended with its final certificate.
my "incorrect" answers related to my work, could cause me problems? It would be better to correct the Ds260 by answering the question "Does this job require 2 years of training?" NO?
Thank you very much for your time, is that in my Ds260 I already state that I have received a refusal to an F1 visa in the past and I would not like to increase the motivations for not proceeding with the next phase and then schedule the interview at the embassy for obtaining the green card

I will assume you are a DV2023 case. In that case, yes you will be waiting a long time because of your case number, so you can submit now, unlocking later, or simply wait until you have had the baby.

U.S embassy Addis Abeba didn't send july 2nl still now. they are working dv cases in low priority . what shall we do?
There is not much to be done. Addis are not behaving correctly and have literally thousands of people waiting for interviews. Clearly, that will not end well for the vast majority of those people.
After submitting DS260 to KCC, how will KCC process? Does KCC process to USCIS then to NVC then to embassies? Appreciate if you can make a video explains how do processing go?

I really don't know what will happen. The arguments on "our side" are strong, but the government seem to be determined to not be told what to do. We just have to wait and see.

Nobody knows a % of a chance anyone has.Your number is high for Africa Region… just make sure you prepare all your documentation accordingly and correctly in-time before your interview.

I still have a question i hope u can help me with, since i have received my passport and the immigration packet it looks like there is no xray inside the envelope since its A4 sized, and i have red that i need to carry the xray with me to the port of entry. So is the xray CD alone satisfactory?

All your medical records are in the package envelope which you're strictly not supposed to open, carry your cds as per your records but nobody will bother look at them at the point of entry.
Yep the CD is all you need, but in fact they probably won't even take that. Relax.
