#blender3d #3danimation #cinema4d #maxon #c4d - Krátké a kreslené filmy
been working as a motion designer for almost 8 years now and i cannot see myself using anything but cinema4d
I don’t blame you! It’s the motion design king
i tried blender before, but cinema 4d is so much better for motion graphics
Started with Max, then went to Maya, then went to Houdini and now I’m on the Blender train
Niceee!! I’m keen on learning Houdini
Starting with c4d 4 years ago, still using ❤
Awesome!! I love C4D 😃
Do you have experience on both? if so, how smooth is it switching or transitioning between the two if you were to use both in the same workflow? Like do they have the same shortcuts and buttons for navigations? is the UI placement similar? I want to use C4D as an overall software, but use blender for modelling due to its superior tools
@@kraney195 I use both yes! I wouldn’t say it’s a rough transition, the UI is different and the shortcuts aren’t exactly the same so how smooth it feels is dependant on you as the user. I will say C4D knowledge will overall help you in your transition as it’s all essentially the same fundamentals just different ways to do it.
You can use Blender for modelling and Cinema4D for the rest, that’s similar to how I approach some projects
@@BrockCreative Thanks fo the response man, Maybe my biggest fear when moving to other software like blender is just how much i need to De-program my Muscle memory to Fit two different software, do you encounter similar problem perhaps? Maybe give a hint to help me out if you can😁
Yes, both are great and yeah blender is growing, I'm currently moving with blender i see its improving slowly hoping someday blender will also be a good industry rated software. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO BY THE WAY ❤
Perhaps in a few years time it might be considered industry standard! Thanks for checking out the video :)
Loved C4D for product renders and animations, but modeling and UVing in C4D is just pure pain for me.
@@didododo5782 Yeah I do find that some features are just easier in blender! modelling especially
straight to the point...love videos with such a strong focus.
@@tobiaswiedemann7071 Hope you enjoyed! What other content would you like to see?
I'm used to blender
Generally you should pick what you’re most comfortable in, unless the software becomes no longer able to do what you want it to… then it’s time to consider a change! Blender is always evolving, you’re making a good choice!
I started out with C4D when I was younger and switched to Blender later on. This was because the cost of C4D Blender is just not even a competition. Blender is amazing and has it quirks ofcourse, but so does C4D. I tried C4D again last year and was actually kind of lost haha. I am so used to Blender now and just finding great plugins, that I have zero reasons to even try C4D anymore.
That’s totally fair! I also started with Cinema4D and tried blender in the last few years, I find different reasons to use both but the price on Cinema4D would make it tough for some not to switch entirely
I choose Blender over Cinema any time for multiple reasons.
What reasons are they? 😀
Modeling tools for once. Sculpting, Geometry nodes, speed Boolean addons such as Hard OPs, ability to make your own modifiers etc..
I can’t afford c4d
Would highly suggest blender then!
I can (Weird flex, but ok).
Blender always
It’s a great software!
cool, that's Blender
Is blender your favourite? 😄
@@BrockCreative yepp
blender x addons
@@SilkoozdLinks love blender addons!
Blender with no addons is actually a pacifier, an empty shell
Interesting take! I do agree it has some limitations but with a free software, you can’t really complain.
@@BrockCreative 👍
Please don't make me pick! This is like mom and dads divorce all over again
😂😂😂
Cinema 4d is not an industry standard. A lot of artist use it, but no industry has set it as the standard.
Blender, however, is a standard in animation, video games and visualizations.
Maya is often considered the technical industry standard, however out of the two I’d say Blender seems to gain popularity over most softwares these days!
It’s the standard on the motion design industry besides AE
@@jbdh6510On what planet?
@@XmontyVFXx please elaborate, what in your opinion the industry standard for motion graphics is
@@jbdh6510It’s definitely not Cinema 4D😂
The so-called expert who made this joke of a video, doesn't even know that Cinema 4D comes with Redshift as its main render engine. Unfortunately, CZcams gives the option for any nobody to make videos on serious topics with 0 information or expertize. Pathetic!
I hear ya! And I'm a C4D fanboy for sure! But at the moment, there is still an "extra" cost for RS GPU. You only get access to the CPU version without the extra sub I believe!
Cinema4D comes with Redshift as a CPU renderer only, if you’ve worked in 3D before you’d be well aware that nobody wants to render without a GPU.
Whilst I appreciate you engaging with my video, I’m informed enough on both softwares to be making a comparison video - I use and love both softwares, I’m really unsure where your attitude is coming from 😂
@@BrockCreative redshift is GPU based
It doesn’t ship out with GPU use, only CPU. You need to pay for GPU.
@@BrockCreative internal and physical are the one that only supports CPU
