- Hogwarts Legacy will be getting new content, game features and updates this year in 2024, so in this video I will take you through what I would love to see added to the Hogwarts Legacy DLC in terms of new content, as well as discuss predictions and what Avalanche Software are likely to include in Hogwarts Legacy 2, which is presumed to be announced for a 2025/2026 release date (predicted).

Something simple as sitting, sleep and eating in the main hall more minigames. Give me a reason to continue playing after im finished with all storyquests
More spells so you don’t have to resort to unforgivable curses, but also more fun spells like Slugulus Erecto for example, could be fun to use against dark wizards/enemies or duels against other students. More wand choices and customization, I want all color options for all wands and make them a bit more stylish like the actual wands in Harry Potter. More customization for character and body shape to actually make it look like yourself. House points!! Actually have a bully storyline and to be honest, 1st game could have just been Sebastian’s storyline but bigger and then have Poppy’s and Natty’s as side ones, I felt it got too much different stories throughout one school year and they didn’t mix too well together, I also would have skipped the ancient magic bit, I don’t need special powers, I want to be a normal student who becomes great because you actually study and put down time and effort into spellcasting etc… which brings me to next point, to upgrade and specialize spells, make them stronger and witches/wizards always are better and worse at different spells so let us specialize in those fitting our gamestyle.
More replay ability like constant dueling club etc. Patronus and Animagus and let us get all the forms that exist on Wizarding World! More interaction with NPCs and other students, also morality system. Could write an essay but I guess these are the more important ones for me.
Even the old PlayStation Harry Potter games had point systems… I was so surprised we didn’t have a point system for houses in Hogwarts Legacy
Yeh mate, I get why they didn't due to time, but I'd really love to see this integrated in someway going forward, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
@@AndyReloads wizarding tournaments would be a great DLC with the option for multiplayer PVP along with the Wizarding tournament story mode so we could complete the DLC story n then enter some type of arena or different battling areas where we fight multiple or individual players in different environments with different objectives like other multiplayer PVP games just done in a appropriate way for Hogwarts Legacy
Kingdom come deliverance made several things great that the next HL could take inspiration from. Curfew, potionsmaking, penalty regarding decisions, social ramifications etc etc. One of several things i want to see is that each locations has a meaning. For example if you visit the owlery you send after something. If you visit zonkos you buy stuff to either distract, stun or random fun. Visiting the sweetshop buying sweets that buffs you etc etc.
2 things I'd like to see in a potential sequel:
• have are friends actually take part in the story. In Hogwarts Legacy are friends are introduced and have a hand full of story missions, then it's side quest and their hardly seen again.
Like i would've LOVED to have are companions take part in the final fight against Ranrock. We can choose to go with fig or as he warns the professors, we get are friends and go into the Final Repository. They could voice their opinions on opening the respiratory. We have a battle against Ranrock(before he turns into a dragon) and after certain percentage of health is gone one of are friends has a special attack like Natty charging Ranrock in her Animagus form but they get taken out until it's just us. Dragon fight ensues and ending like normal(either good or bad ending). In the aftermath are friends could console us after fig dies. It would reflect Harry Potter well because Harry couldn't have gotten far without his friends.
• having spells upgrades being tied to classes. The assignment teaches us the spell and classes are used for getting upgrades. Have 5 classes throughout the year for each subject and after each class your spell gets a major upgrade, like Incindo gets the ring of fire when cast. Have the classes become after specific story missions so you can't just spam them to get upgrades. I think it would help us fell like a student learning because it's easy to become overpowered in Hogwarts Legacy.
I want everything when it comes to dark magic. A summon inferi spell, our appearance going more evil as we continue to use dark magic, maybe even a dark magic "Stance". The possibilities of allowing us to be Evil or Dark are limitless. Essentially when it comes to the world and NPCs reacting to our choices or behaviour.

That would honestly be fantastic mate, I would definitely love to try and see all the different outcomes through multiple playthroughs if it was implemented! Great comparison to IF2 btw!
I agree with suggestions. One thing I would like to see is a fatigue meter. It was strange to roam about 24-7. What was the point of your room? If not a fatigue meter then have a time where your character has to stop and rest. This wouldn't mean you stop playing. You can click a button and you teleport (or walk back) to your room, and time will elapse. This ties in with the idea of the rule you mentioned, e.g. being caught wandering around the castle after curfew. The fatigue concept will prevent you from leaving the castle and then returning after the curfew has lifted. Of course, you could do a bed check, but then you would need to implement it anyway. LOL.
Funny that I found this because I was thinking of playing the game again since I completed my playthrough. I was checking to see if anything new had been added.
Take from Kingdom Come Deliverance. Potions class, it's been awhile, but if I remember you had to actually pick from the table and use the mortar and pestel, then hold them over the fire until it's boiling and so on. Just making a potion took some work. As you level up your potions proficiency you can auto craft lower level potions as a time saver, but higher difficulties maybe not. Also, as I've mentioned on other videos a class system like Bully. Truancy, curfew, detention. Once you've completed all your classes, it truancy won't be an issue, but curfew absolutely. More mini games. There is so much lore such a well made world, there's so many possibilities.

Azkaban I think we should be able to go there
As if let's say Sébastian u lock his ass up in story then u find about Victor rookwood cursing Anne so u break him out of Azkaban and go on the run. Great dark wizard storyline
If only Sirius wasn't established as the first person who ever broke out of Azkaban, I'd love this quest. Maybe we rescue him on the way to Azkaban by flying the dragon we rescued the egg for? Kill 2 birds with one stone

More scope - and consequence - for being a bad student. That you can spam Avada Kedavra in front of Hogwarts teachers and they make no comment is ludicrously immersion breaking. One consequence might be you get a stern talking-to from the staff, where you'd have the opportunity to make an ends-justify-the-means argument - is using the Dark Arts in service of protecting self and others truly unforgiveable?
Branching story lines based on decisions, rather than the safe and easy illusion of choice, where decisions don't matter. I see no reason why they can't go as far as expelling a student - and causing a Game Over screen - if one really crosses the line.
More classes. It's a shame that of, say, a 80-100 hour playthrough only what, an hour or less is spent in class. Obviously they'd want to avoid the stereotypical snooze fest that is History of Magic, but surely there's creative scope for interesting gameplay or plot/character development in classes.
Love your ideas here mate, perhaps the expelled screen is something similar to the "Wasted" screen in GTA or the "Desyncronised" screen in Assassins Creed when you kill civilians. Keep your thoughts coming & I hope you enjoyed the video btw!

Might be small but I’d like to have my player walk when I use the analog and run when I press for them to. Like Batman Arkham Knights. I’ve ran off fell off many edges. Plus just to take in the designs without having to softly holding the analog stick.
I think a siege on Hogwarts would be awesome. Every section of the map having different enemies and a boss type

I distinctly remember the devs saying NPCs would react to your dialogue choices and your use of the 3 curses. I almost think they mentioned your character’s voice and demeanor would change after frequent use.
Nobody seems to care I’m mercin goblins and dark wizards left and right.

I'm more of a gray area as far as the wizard spells goes I believe in using dark spells if the situation proves it necessary for it to be used but to always remember that it is for extreme combat only against more than 3 or 4 wizards or witches at any time and the persons have proven that the nice guy treatment won't work on them and for general fight or flight survival situations as well that the regular spells won't work
I think level 50 shoud be introduced along with Mythic gear tied to leveling up. Or maybe theres a chance you get it my combining 3 legendary gear, they could have 2 slots for gear traits.

I would love to see new customization ie facial hair, custom brooms, more hair styles and custom wand handles. As well as a karma system kinda like the infamous series where you get different endings based on your behavior
The one thing I need in Hogwarts Legacy is a morality system and to be able to sit and talk to the npc’s and to play wizards chess.
I hope the Devs see your vid and take action to implement at least some of the suggestions..
Right now I am skeptical that there even will be some DLC.
Not that there is no potential for it, but I have yet to see compelling arguments that it is actually coming.

For me what I want in this game is a bit more to do with character creation, if you want to look normal or evil it should be up to you as the story develops. Second thing I would like is the animagus power and I would love to transform in to an animal that I want, like a lion, bear, wolf or what ever. I would also love to play Quidditch, would love there to be new spells and so much more in the DLC's. Just hope they are all good when released.
as long as their idea of microtransactions is just cosmetics im fine with it, perhaps a way to optain em for free like in Assassins Creed Valhalla
Got my HLDE Nintendo Switch game just this past Christmas. I absolutely 💯 ♥️ it. It would be nice to grow our character past the 5th year and make it to the graduation of our 7th year. Then add in the life span of Harry and his friends. I'm more of a PC gammer but no longer owning my own PC due to finances. I've learned how to play a console style setup. I enjoy HLDE. (Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition) on the Nintendo Switch.
I’d like to continue on my journey in the second game. With some romance and fighting Dragons and other characters.
Campion systems were great in the dragon age games especially dragon age inquisition so they could do it because the technology is there

I think what they should have done is make a prequel to hogwarts legacy and make the main character be a foreign exchange character from where the players are from then they could have taken their time with hogwarts legacy and added dlc from the main characters previous school like spells the school uniforms and amp up the levels and have the challenges longer and more scars and if the players want to be a witch then they automatically get a feminine outfit and if the player wants to be a wizard then they get a masculine outfit no matter what the gender they choose and they could choose more voices then just male and female and they should definitely have more holiday items then just a Christmas tree and jack o lantern and I think they should have the name of your character be said
WHAT ABOUT A RAVENCLAW NPC. I would have loved to have a story line/relationship with a ravenclaw student. And this game definitely would have been perfect for it. Just my tidbit

The playercount dropped by 90% 1x month after launch mate, so definitely dead in regard to that for sure. They officially mentioned that there's new updates/features coming this summer though hence the DLC chat, we should officially know more in the next couple months (what they said), cheers!
