They are going all in...I think in part because they won't be returning to Pathfinder for a while. Apparently there is evidence they are planning on working on a science fiction action RPG next...
Sick! I would love to see them do that.
Action RPG? Sounds like a mistake. Owlcat should iterate on its CRPG formula. The main things that held back WotR from being a breakout success were bugs and the lack of voiceover. I really want to see them release a polished CRPG, because in a lot of ways I enjoy WotR more than BG3 (which I also love).
Also, nice to see you here. Big fan of your videos.
Starfinder would be AMAZING
@@steele5823 Thanks!
All "Black Blade" concepts invariably tie back to Michael Moorcock's "Elric" character.
The White Wolf!
😂
Michael Moorcock is not appreciated enough. For example Warhammer 40 was heavily inspired by his stories.
This comment makes me happy 😂
Definitely!
I have not read that in some time.
Thanks
Oh baby..
They really went above and beyond with the DLC archetypes. Good shit, Owlcat.
Can't wait for Magic Deciever. Going to have a hard time deciding between that and Living Grimoire for my Aeon.
Yeah this is really awesome.
So, imagine: blend magic missile and phantasmal killer, forcing the target to save 5 times against PK. With favorable magic from Azata, that's 10 saves. With zippy magic, that is 10 saves each for 2 targets. At some point someone WILL roll snake eyes. Or combine MM with any ray attack (polar, scorching, hellfire ray, disintegration) 5 rays with no attack rolls, just damage. Great for those bosses with stupid high AC. Protection from evil communal (or any low level communal spell) and mirror image to give the whole party MI with 1 cast. I have a feeling that this class has the potential for maximum cheese.
Hmmm that could be interesting. We'll see how it works in practice.
I would not underestimate the potential of fused spells. Basically it allows you to cast 2 spells in one action. Yes, you can not use metamagic. But there are multiple ways in the game to achieve similar effects. For example persistent spell can be emulated by stuff like azata favorable magic, and quicken is kind of not needed as we already perform 2 casts. As a demon, you can even cast as a move action. Thats 4 spells in one turn. Not to mention altering the saves required and so on. Depending on the exact implementation this could be pretty powerful.
I may be misinterpreting the rules, but I'm pretty giddy to try something like Azata casting Hellfire Cloudkill, or Chain Phantasmal Killer.
Quicken isn't needed if you are casting a spell that already has metamagic feats baked in. Most spells aren't good enough on their own without metamagic investment if you are playing on Core or above.
@@SlanderedGaming i mean we might be able to use the rods that do meta magic with the fused spells.
@@AncroKT So you basically can get Weird as a 6th level spell? That's crazy busted. And with Azata twin magic, you cast it twice. Holy crap.
definitely interested in the Black Blade and the new Ranger subclass. I'm already cooking up a character for them
Awesome glad you liked a couple of them.
One thing that all Pathfinder games have suffered from is that you always end up making huge decisions without any reasonable way of understanding what the outcomes of those decisions are going to be. One decent example of this is the dramatic impact of decisions made when you first start interacting with crusade mode and you instantly are expected to internalize a massive and complex system where any one major error can cripple you for a long time or even end your run in extreme cases. I'm not sure what would be the best way to accomplish this, but a video to help point out when big decisions are being made, ideally without spoiling story elements, would be what I would be looking for most of all for the expansion and any CRPG I play going forward.
Outside of that, in depth guides on the archetypes (the stuff I think you plan to do anyway) is what I am interested in.
Great call out I'll keep that in mind for this content.
that hypogriff seems like it could be pretty OP. i am happy to have a mount that wont constantly be getting stuck on the scenery though.
Yup hopefully it works out well.
@@SlanderedGamingyeah i loved cavalier so much but its just such a pain to play one because they are constantly getting stuck. mounted combat is one of the things i like most about pathfinder over DND, so i hope this works a little better.
That magus class sounds awesome definitely gonna give it a playthrough.
Nice hope you enjoy it!
2:41 Magus are effectively walking spellswords, I love em
I’ll never forget how you pronounced Cavalier!
Ark-Type-> Ark-Ke-Type (Archetype)
Payso-> Pie-Zoe (Paizo)
Warpriest does not suck btw, they are just one of the classes that you would call a more advanced mechanics heavy build which require a lot of meta knowledge to play but are quite rewarding. Plus being able to turn a +3 weapon into a +8 weapon with good BAB and self buffing with high will saves and in the case of Cult leader sneak attack stacks that scale up for insane amounts of damage is huge on a two weapons fighting character. Goes great with Trickster and Demon Mythic Paths. Excited to see what that Mantis Subclass plays like.
😂😂 We just had a conversation about this in the Dragon Age: Origins stream because Leiliana pronounces it the exact same way I do. Pretty sure that's where I got it from.
You people trying to defend Warpriest are BAFFLING. There are three dozen ways to play that class and only one of them actually works. CLEARLY it is trash. 😂
@@SlanderedGaming if it does amazing damage, always gives you something on every level up, has good RP potential and is a unique hybrid, then it cannot be trash! Currently doing another pre-DLC launch playthrough with it right now and having a blast! I’ll die on the hill that every class was programmed for someone out there and not everything is gonna be for everybody.
Lmao yeah Leiliana pronounces words weird all the time especially compared to other companions and npc’s… I think it has to do with her being Orlesian. What class did you end up going with for DA:O?
@@maximillianjayphoenix More than Cult Leader being trash I think that it simply get's outshined by other classes on Unfair. As you said it has insane damage potential but since it's BAB isn't that high compared to other strong martial classes you will definitely have a harder time hitting than others, negating it's strength partially. That being said you can still beat unfair with it and if you play on lower difficulties like core it's pretty much nuts due to it's high damage output. I definitely agree with you.
The ending of pathfinder WOTR looks amazing. Can’t wait to see how this goes.
Me too!
@@SlanderedGamingWe need that Warhammer love just like WOTR!!!😅😅
Wow.
Fused spells could be VERY interesting depending on the actual mechanics and what effects we can merge together.
I mean, would mixing Web with Phantasmal Killer (if it's even possible) create a spell that can tie down enemies and force them to save vs insta-kill over and over as they try to escape it?
Great question. It will be interesting to see it's applications.
I can't wait for this DLC. Will see what new mythic content we get, but just the classes alone sound amazing. The deceiver sounds like it has a lot of potential. Greece + Fireball, Greece + Glitterdust, Phantasmal Kill + Fireball = low level Weird. Will see how it ends up working, but my head is spinning with possibilities. Will probably be bugged to high heaven though lol
LOL Probably but it'll still be fun to play with!
Well after this DLC I think we're all in for a wild ride with all the new crazy subclasses. I want to try using the Chelaxian Diva bard on my next run. I can just imagine the crusade being run by a maniacal opera singer and her fans. Regill grudgingly being her number one fan. Make her an evil azata turned devil and I can just see Areelu and Galfrey going "WTF is this!?"
so glad i just bought the second season pass cause these sound awesome especially the alucard inspired one cause symphony of the night is one of my favorite castlevania games lol.
I really hope my Flesheater Barbarian and his girlfriend Camelia have a happy ending after everything is done. Maybe she opens an orphanage....
😂
Riding a griffon is so cool! Feeling my grey warden fantasy.
Hadn't thought about that but yup 100%
Man, I am gonna have to replay this game SO many times. Not that this is a hardship, but it is going to seriously eat my social life
Yeah mine too. LOL
Dang i was really hoping they would add summoners. I miss my summoner from call of the wild.
Yeah unfortunately I knew they wouldn't add a new base class. Maybe they'll bring it back in the next Pathfinder game. Or is there a Call of the Wild mod for Wrath?
On GitHub, Balkoth has the 'Making Friends' mod, which adds the Summoner class, if that helps. Would provide a link, but I suspect CZcams would eat it. Still, with that, I hope you'll be able to find it.
Third attempt at comment not being eaten: On [not Nexus site], Balkoth has the 'Making Friends' mod, which adds the Summoner class, if that helps. I hope you'll be able to find it, comment is getting vaguer and vaguer in hopes of actually getting posted.
Fused spells does sound interesting. Without the specifics, I have no idea how strong it is in practice, but casting 2 non metamagic spells as a standard action could be very strong, particularly if you get to cherry pick descriptors and properties of spells. Arcanists dont work very well with metamagic (with only 3 slots at higher levels, its hard to find the slots to use them). It will also depend on how many class levels are required. If fused spells involving 9th level spells require 18 class levels, for example, this is not going to be a class you can play as an arcane trickster or eldritch knight, which will be highly restrictive.
I suspect a lich sorcerer will continue to be much stronger, but we shall see.
From reading the description I believe fused 9th level spells will still be 9th level. Outside of buffs on party members what's an example of two spells you could combine together with no metamagics that could reliable create a powerful effect on a consistent basis? Any decent damage spell needs to be maximized and/or empowered. A crowd control spell needs that persistent parameter to punch through high saves. I just don't see the functionality as all that strong with this.
@@SlanderedGaming What I am referring to is the number of required class levels. To access the class feature, and whether its a level 1 pickup like elemental conversion for an elemental specialist wizard, or the patron spells for a witch that require that you level a nearly pure witch to get all of them.
I would be rather surprised if you only needed 1 class level per spell level that you wish to use the fuse magic feature for. I think its much more likely to be a 1 or at least low level pick up (maybe level 4 when you get 2nd level spells), or its going to require that you have as many class levels as would be required to access that spell level as a pure class.
If the latter, you will need 18 class levels to fuse a combination including a 9th level spell.
If the feature is a low level pickup, however, that opens up a lot more options, as you can progress caster level independent of class level through prestige classes and merged spell books.
As for which spells will be useful, it depends how it works. But lets say you can combine a stormbolts with a caustic eruption as an 8th level spell slot, that is going to hit significantly harder than a bolstered caustic eruption, or indeed a bolstered and empowered caustic eruption using 2 mythic ability picks and favoured metamagic.
The issue will be how many spell slots are used, whether the damage dice are simply added or averaged, and what properties of the spells you can choose. If you can convert caustic eruption into a fort save dealing lightening damage with combining it with stormbolts, for example, you make it evasion proof and will only need a single ascended element to use it effectively.
Personally, I think its unlikely you will be able to use it to get a single 8th level spell slot to do 20d8+20d6 upfront damage, allowing 1 fort save, stunning on failed save and another 20d6 damage over 2 rounds, all as electrical damage.
Even allowing for the lack of metamagic, that would be very powerful.
Even if it used both an 8th and 7th level spell slot, whilst not particularly impressive damage for the number of slots, it is efficient in terms of action economy.
The specifics do matter here and they arent currently known.
It also matters if it can interact with metamagic rods (probably not), as this would be a serious drawback if so.
@@notalefty999 Hmmmm interesting thanks. We will circle back to this convo once I can actually see the mechanics.
@@SlanderedGaming Just reading the post myself, it does provide some detail:
"At 1st level, a magic deceiver gains the ability to create fused spells, combining the effects of two regular spells from their spellbook. We have implemented a fused spells interface specifically for this archetype.
The Magic Deceiver doesn't receive bonus spells from ability scores and cannot add spells from other classes' spell lists to their spellbook. By combining the effects of different spells, the Magic Deceiver creates their own fused spells, names them, and writes them into their book. The magic deceiver can have up to 10 fused spells in their spellbook at a time.
A fused spell gains the effects of both initial spells. Those effects are applied in order, one after the other. A fused spell gains all the descriptors of the initial spells, has a spell level equal to the highest level of the initial spells, is always cast as a standard action, and cannot be modified using metamagic.
When creating a fused spell, the magic deceiver chooses between the corresponding properties of the initial spells. If the initial spells belong to different schools of magic, have different spell shapes, or require saves of different types to avoid their effects, the magic deceiver chooses which properties will apply to the fused spell.
The choice of the spell's shape also determines its range, targets, and whether or not it is affected by the target's spell resistance (if the initial spells have the same shape, the best options are chosen for these properties). If any effects of a fused spell require its target to make saving throws, the target always makes a single saving throw, excluding cases where it is required to make another save after a failed save (such as the phantasmal killer spell)."
Firstly, it does appear to be a level 1 feature. It doesn't explicitly rule out the possibility that you will need more class levels to fuse higher level spells, but I would guess not.
The drawback is that you do not get bonus spell slots from your stat bonus. You will still need a stat bonus for your spell DCs anyway, so this is a serious drawback. On a main character, getting a +15 modifier is quite possible, and that will be the difference of 2 to 4 bonus spell slots per level, depending on the spell level. Depending on mythic path choices, its quite possible to get even larger attribute modifiers than +15.
It also appears they cannot get other class spells from loremaster, though this may just mean you cannot fuse spells with spells from a separate spellbook if multclassed. I am not sure if this will also include lich spells if merged, but I am guessing you will still get lich spells, and if not, this very likely means you cannot merge spellbooks.
Gaining all the spell descriptors for both spells is generally a bad thing as it means your spells are more likely to be immuned, though there are some descriptor specific bonuses like a dirge bard's getting bonus DC to fear descriptors, for example.
Being able to pick which saving throw type you use is very likely to be beneficial.
Probably most interesting is "The choice of the spell's shape also determines its range, targets, and whether or not it is affected by the target's spell resistance". I have no idea how this will work for cloud effects when combined with non cloud effects to be honest. My best guess is this will make them hit only once rather than persist over time, which would be a huge nerf. On the other hand, if you could combine mass icy prison with sirocco and have both become party friendly effects which persist until a save is made, dealing damage and incapacitating each round, this will be great. Whether making using the cloud targeting for a fireball effect would allow fireball effects damage to be repeated each round, I do not know (its possible such spells just cannot be combined at all), but if so, this would be extremely powerful.
But more straightforwardly, it appears you will be able to get both spells to benefit from native SR bypass and native selective spell behaviour, like firesnake, chain lightening or stormbolts, which is actually very handy given you cannot metamagic.
It occurs to me also that this is actually a very good use case for elemental barrage. There is no indication you can make both spells function with the same element, but with a lot of mythic ability investments (no fewer than 3 and likely 4 as I would want fire, lightening and acid spells to be able to access). You will definitely want abundant casting also, so thats 7 out of 9 mythic picks tied up.
It will also work very well with surprise spells, as it doubles the effect and arcane trickster more generally will work very nicely with scorching ray or at higher levels, hellfire ray, combined with battering blast. The robe that adds +1 per elemental dice will also be really handy.
I'm so excited for the Chelish Diva archetype. I play one in Pathfinder Society, and they're super broken.
Having Regill with serious attack of opportunity damage, and (if the Diva is closer to the PF1e archetype) the Diva frightening things is going to be ridiculous.
Also, Warpriest isn't bad in the ttrpg. 😅
Never played it in the TTRPG but cannot stand it in Wrath. LOL
Sable company marine sounds like you can cosplay as a grey warden from dragon age origins.
Yup for sure. LOL
I wonder if the new Arcanist archetype could be extremely powerful, maybe if you could combine your spells with merged Mythic Lich spells. They're a lot more powerful than your normal spells anyway, so the Arcanist's low spell variety won't be a big problem.
Yup I am not sure but it'll definitely be interesting to test.
the one thing that pushes magic deceiver is if it merges with lich, that did not explicitly say that you couldn't fuse mythic spells with each other or with regular spells. lich just got another huge power boost.
Oh wow combing Lich spells could definitely be interesting.
You can't, they confirmed in the discord that you cannot merge
@@brucealmighty5881 going to have to show proof of that one. it's not believable otherwise.
@@awesome27677 it's been confirmed in the official discord if you feel like checking it. Shouldn't be too hard to find
Mounts are king. So the new ranger is the only one that I'll probably use.
The arcanist's archetype seems interesting... i wonder if it can fuse mythic spells too? If he can, a lich magic deceiver will be really powerful
That's a really good question.
In the tabletop having a combined Black Blade and Kensai (Sword Saint) is a powerful combination. It would be cool if they allowed it in the videogame, but I doubt it. (I wonder if it could be modded in as a separate subclass)
This is amazing! I'm on hype. 😍
Same!!
Cool. I love the Bladebound Magus but I would be even happier if Staff Magus was added although Staff Magus in case of TTRPG is occupying a kind of weird position. It can use magic staves as a weapon (normally they can't be used that way) from quite early on, but on the other hand he cannot create these staves for couple more levels.
Ah int4eresting never heard of Staff Magus.
Funny how I was playing exactly the Blade Bound magus with a mod and now it comes out officially. Sounds so good...I love magus, so this is such an amazing news for me.
Might have to go Mythic Necromancer with it😍
Awesome. Hopefully this version of Blade BOund gives you a nice twist.
@@SlanderedGaming I hope so too, because the mod butchers my dear and beloved Vivisectionist, no more bonus traits for the potions T_T
Fused spells sounds amazing depending on how creative we can get with it, right of the bat i can think of combining grease and one of the hole spells, if they work like i think/hope they will grease can make enemies fall prone and then have them fall into the hole spell which they hopefully would be less able to resist since they are prone. But we will have to see how it works and what potential combos there is to work with XD
Greasy Hole should def be a Trickster spell.
Yup should be interesting for sure.
the Zealot Mantis Warpriest sounds freaking awesome
I hope it can go into the Swarm that walks 😍
the Bladebound Magus archetype looks also very cool
and I can't wait to test it aswell !!! 🥵
honestly the last archetypes added with the last two DLC's have a lot more flavor to them than the archetypes we had already in the game
am so excited !!!
Yup you can tell they are going all out right now.
@@SlanderedGaming finishing with a BANG ^^
One of the reasons that I love the DLC3, you can jump into the rogelike mode and quickly level to check out classes. Some of these sound like a lot of fun.
Yup it's a great testing ground.
Magus already has sword saint. In terms of pure power, it'll be hard to beat that. But I did have a lot of fun playing Sword saint and can only recommend at least this magus subclass.
Yeah Sword Saint is pretty powerful.
to be honest im excited for all the builds of these there is so much potential.
Yup Owlcat did breat work.
Love it. It's absolutely fantastic
Yup it's looking really good!
Hmm, I wonder if one can fuse mythic spells, say bolt of justice and hellfire ray, if so that would be the most op blaster caster build ever. If not mythic spells, then chain lightning and hellfire ray on Azata would be something...
Technically it owuld but again you cannot use metamagic feats so the viability is limited.
The new archetypes are absolute crazy am spoil for choice!
Lots of great options!
4:27 *equips sniper rifle*
black blade magus!? Turin Turumbar play-through imminent
😂
Seems like they really going all in, It is really sad we will not get an modding tools for this game :/
Yeah that would've been nice. Maybe they'll add that for the next game.
I can't stand for this warpriest slander, a cult leader with a dip in knife master rogue is d8 sneak attacking with dual great swords. throwing axes are another wonderful use of the class. Or take multiple natural weapon focuses (ex wf bite, wf gore, claw...) you can boost all of these at once while grabbing some support spells. You should play with their damage dice boosting some, its really fun.
There are three dozen ways to play Warpriest and the only one that actually works is a dual wielding cult leader. It's not slander if what's being said is true. LOL
@SlanderedGaming I'll admit without their fervor from the tabletop they are a bit neutered. I know taking multiple weapon focus seems counterintuitive, but the amount of support natural attacks got you can do alot and it's a ton of fun. Particularly if you do a legend run. Also 5 levels of quaterstaff monk the rest in warpreist (cult leader is by far the best) almost makes the game too easy
Also love your videos, and this is the only time I've disagreed with a take.
How strong the black blade will be depend on if you can still apply your magus weapon enchants to it while it's fighting on it's own, if you can't apply Dimension slash to it - It's most likely going to be useless on anything whit decent AC.
Yup this will be a good question.
Very interested in the sharpshooter kineticist. I always turn Wenduag into a kineticist and that feels like a more interesting alternative(depending on how it scales)
Oh wow never considered Wenduag as a Kineticist.
My Wenduag is usually a Child of the Manticore. Just seems to fit better thematically to me.
@SlanderedGaming her first level in Fighter with the ranged perks makes her great fit. That with whatever the ranged weapon perks that the archetype hopefully gives sounds promising. I usually just give her a Con amulet and start pumping con because her other stats start so high
I do hope that there is more mythic path content. Particularly for Devil which I have heard has less content then the others, especially as the nature of this AP it feels far more fitting for a Devil to be my main evil playthrough then Demon in a way, since the whole AP is about fighting demons and Hell hates demons. this sort of disconnect is what makes it tricky to me to actually do a demon/swarm evil playthrough. I don't mind Lich but demon and swarm just feel like fighting the narrative to me. Just my personal opinion though.
I would be delighted if there was another way then aeon or azata to become a devil; ie let me go to a devil from Angel, since in the pathfinder lore there are fallen Angels who are in Hell, and highly ranked. I think the verbal commentary and fighting between Melies and the Hand would be fun as the literal angel and devil on your shoulder encouraging you on different paths.
I am also curious if there will be new romance options, ie I want to romance woljif. Woljif is just such a fun character. though speaking of romance, I do wonder what romance might be best/most fun for a devil playthough.
I don't think there will be new romance options but the ones that are there will get more content.
I'm all for this update, it really looks like Owlcat has been cooking after a short break while working on Rogue Trader
Yup really cool stuff.
i want them to make infernal bloodline actually usable by making spells that had charm tag in tabletop actually have it in the game, also, prodigeous two-weapon fighting feat
They might add more feats with the DLC>
Ya I'm def gonna be giving Blade Bound a go.
It looks SUPER cool.
The new Arcanist archetype might actually get me to play an Arcanist.
There are already two amazing ones. The Phantasmal Mage and the Brown Fur. The Phantasmal Mage combined with Azata can oneshot ANYTHING in the game, including Demon Lords. It is the only class in the game that can apply persistent metamagic to the spell Weird; meaning you force enemies to double roll twice!
It's definitely interesting.
I did notice that and considered playing one.
So Sable company marine makes me wonder if we might see an adapatation of Curse of the Crimson Throne. The Sable company comes from the city of Korvasa which is the main setting for Curse of the Crimson throne AP a fun Urban one about the intrigues of the death of a king and the rise of tyranny queen, and all the mayhem that spirals from there. Korvosa btw was founded by chelixans in the past though is no indapedent, albit with ties to the motherland. On the other hand Curse of the Crimson throne is an older AP written even before pathfinder 1st edition.
Still even if this isn't a hint, I do always love the more setting specific sort of class stuff; it just feels more fun to have something more grounded in the setting.
as for Ai with the animals, I stopped playing with real time with pause went with turnbased as it helps keep my healers from doing something stupid. Sure slower combat and more micromanagement but I personally don't mind it.
I find it funny that the Mantis Zealot doesn't have the iconic armor of the Red Mantis Assassins; though I do hope that you can find it. I can't remember if Achaekek is against killing demon lords or not but I don't think so, I think he only discourages killing 'true gods' but going after Deskari and Baphomet is quite the achievement for any assassin.
Oh nice I didn't know they have iconic armor.
@@SlanderedGaming The iconic armor of the Red Mantis Assassins looks well like a literal mantis, complete with antenna, the armor is IIRC light armor in red and black. There are pages of what it looks like on the pathfinder wiki.
And if you want a buff-bot, brown fur transmuter is still superior to every other option out there. :)
True it's hard to turn that one down.
You are the CRPG sage. It's time you grow out a long beard and wear glyph strewn hooded robes. Thanks for the great information.
😂😂
Still waiting on my collector's edition to show up and the final DLC already coming lol
😂
I'm grateful for the new content and additions, but after all the hours put into this game, we need the option to start a new game at the beginning of Chapter 3 or something, unless there are mods out there that let us do the same thing. I want to play these new classes, but don't want to be locked into saves where choices were already made or starting new every time.
That would be AMAZING.
I am really interested in the new magus class. Owlcat keeps spreading the love.
I love it!
The new subclasses look awesome
I think so too!
Riding a Griffon eh? Reminds me of Fire Emblem. I am going playing this game for a 6th time now.
"..ride a hippogriff/griffon..." was all I need to know
I know right? Sounds AMAZING.
Bladehound is in!!! Bladebound is in!!!
Very exciting!
The blackblade magus has been around for ages in tabletop Pathfinder, how can it be inspired from the Castlevania netflix series?
Couldn't tell you but that's what they said. LOL
The way I interpreted that (i.e. I could be completely wrong) was that they decided a whole bunch of tabletop mechanics wouldn't work super-well in their game (which makes a degree of sense - I have that archetype from a mod, and it kinda does my head in how it actually works - seems to be a whole lot of complexity for not much power), so they've implemented a good helping of OwlCatBrew to the archetype, and they got the inspiration of *that part* from Castlevania.
Mantis Zealot will make you regret your words and your deeds, sir.
Seriously though, I know Warpriest is lacking but you have to admit that class outfit is sharp as hell. So much better looking than the cleric's.
Is outfit is definitely fire I agree.
It's kinda sad I already know I'll still get a melee dual wielding fighter of some sort instead of one of those insanely sick archetypes they keep giving to us :D
Titan Fighter let's you dual wield two-handed weapons. No interest?
@@SlanderedGaming could be worth a try :) keep up the great vids man- always my kind of content!
More is more?
Enough!
Ah yes. New kineticist power we will never use.
😂
OMG Bound Blade... they just need to add the Katana (and the spell storing pearls) and it would be perfect :)
Ok... no the inspiration never was Alucard... that's dumb. The inspiration of the Bound Blade Magus is and will always been Stormbringer from Moorcock. A sentient soul-drinking blade confering his power to a dying wielder.
😂😂
I loved this game, but never get through act 2 even on multiple play throughs. :(
Gotta push through it man, Act 3 is when it gets REALLY good.
Unfortunately no. Red mantis have the same alignment requirement as Asmodeus and from what I looked up they are in good terms with Mephistopheles so if anything it's for devil
NE is a possibility for Swarm...and NE is possible for Asmodeus.
Thanks dude I got worried for a second there. LOL
Hopefully the kineticist sharpshooter is better than kinetic knight. We have to wait and see.
Yeah I honestly don't have high hopes.
The new magus archetype is sp edgy I have to play it
Yeah I am definitely interested.

@@bobyhappy2992 I love hard games, i want to play on hard, but the level up system in the pathfinder games are so broken that noobies cant do it on their own.

@@arkuspendragon yeah...that's why I don't play on hardezr difficulty

I'm all for new classes, but are they gonna just breeze over balancing existing classes that severely need the attention? It doesnt make any sense.
Most of the classes are actually a rather faithful adaptation of the source material, and the lack of balance is baked into said material. Also, just be dint of sheer volume of classes and archetypes, I dont think a balancing of these is likely at all.
I agree with lefty that the lack of balance is intended with some of the classes.
As someone who prefers pathfinder 1e over 2e this dlc is bitter sweet as I don’t expect anymore 1e video games.
Yeah they probably won't release those but maybe 2e's implementation in cRPG's will surprise you.
I am excited for more sub classes, but Im not a big fan of this kind of dlc.. I didnt like it in ME3 either.. It just not my kind of thing.. like romance in gaming, I could do without it entirely
It's not based around the romance, there's an entire plot line for the DLC.
@@SlanderedGaming No, I was saying that I could do without the fan service style dlc, like citadel, as well as romance in gaming..
Let me stop you right there..
Warpriest terrible?
They are not, they do take a bit to really shine though, but when they do? Oh lord do they shine.
dual wield kukri cult leader warpriest has THE highest melee damage output in the game, hands down.
Yeah you will be a bit feat starved but doesn't matter really. Go trickster path for the insane crits and you will crit on a roll of 10 or higher.
So in a class that can be played three dozen different ways, there's one that's decent? Yeah it's definitely terrible. 😂
First
Awesome!
second
Nice!
war priest isn't that bad. You're churching it up something crazy.
I cannot STAND it. 😂😂
But why? Game has plenty of archetypes, they should focus more on the story.
Hopefully they are doing both but we shall see.
Oh yes, that Castlevania Netflix series was fantastic! Isaac was my favourite character!
He was vastly complex. I liked him, and hated him...which made me like him even more lol.
@@safetythirdified He was by far the character with the greatest charcter arc and development. The others were very static.
Absolutely! So awesome watching his journey.
