- Part 3 of 3 video travel logs from a two week trip looking for wildlife to photograph in Kootenay National park. This is when I photographed the black wolf. I mentioned I was using a 1.4x teleconverter but It was actually my 1.7x on the 300mm f2.8 lens on the D300s.

Thanks! It's fun to do the videos. It gives me something to do and someone to talk to when I'm alone in the scary woods;-) It was a great trip!
@chipewayan I took down all my summer video travel logs. There were just too many of them. I spent a good deal of the summer trying to get Lynx pictures but came up with nothing. I've seen them in the winter more, I guess that's because they can be spotted easier. It is too bad I didn't talk to you as it would have been great to photograph some lynx. They are my favorite animal. I'm sure I'll be heading up north again in the new year. Maybe you could send me an email with your technique. Thanks!

when you were in the territories camping by enterprise i wish i would have talked to you and knew what you were up to because i kept seeing lynx that week .i was moose hunting and i saw your truck there a few times.we have a few tricks we use for trapping that would have garranted you lynx photos
