      @elizabethlacky6068 'Hellooooo' No, they weren't. They were loving, caring, involved grandparents. This grandfather sounds like the epitome of a good, hardworking man. I feel so sorry for him. THEIR son is an absolute monster and a menace and never should have been given custody of this poor boy. It doesn't sound like he's 'negating' anything. That might perhaps be the murderer's attorney's intention by examining them, but he sounds incredibly disappointed, disturbed, and sad over this. And not for one second did he defend his son's actions. In fact, he outright called his son's actions 'mistreatment'.

    What does the Grandfather’s Resume have to do with his son, Christopher Gregor murdering his 6 year old child? Both David and Carolyn enabled Christopher, and did not hold him accountable for his other crimes, but rather, helped him skirt the system. Christopher has proven that he is a malignant narcissist, has anger issues and lacks impulse control, none of which add to the enrichment or mentoring of a young child. Christopher Gregor murdered is son. His parents know it, his defense attorney knows it, the dog knows it, the cat knows it…and the JURY knows it.

    I'm watching from the UK and am stunned that poor (6 year old) Corey would need to account to his grandfather each day at 4pm what he's achieved in school that day. All kids develop at different rates and often those who are slower at first will tend to catch up by the time they're 10 or 11. This is supported by plenty of studies. I'd suggest that all that's required of a parent/custodian of a 6 year old is to keep a general view of the child's development AND LET THEM ENJOY THEIR EARLY YEARS!!!!!

      YES! well said. And to have to answer to someone who was a complete stranger and in a new enviroment living with strangers. As an adult that would be awkward, they should have let this child ease into a relationship with them and gained his trust brfore going through his school papers and making such a big deal of his grades, that was not what that boy needed at that time.

    Ok so im in a fb page set up by the boys mother Bri. Now from all understanding from that page and all her mom and bri said. The father was taken to court for maintenance, this incurred the father visitation with the boy. Bri alsways made out that the child only went for visitation. But in court here they are saying the father got custody and the child, was living with grandparents and father. She never disclosed she list custody of her son. Im so confused. Did Cory die while in visitation with his Dad or was it actually the case that the father fot custody of the child. I still think he abused the kid abd caused his death, but the mom majes out she is holier than tho, when it may turn out she was also unfit and lost custody of her child too.

    • @honeybadger1847
      @honeybadger1847 Před 26 dny +3

      It was my understanding, based on court testimony alone, that mom had visitation only. Maternal grandmother had applied for food stamps (and I assume Medicaid) , which triggered paternal determination, financial responsibility, and much of what followed.

    I am rather sure he (David) did his best. With your own kids you usually can never imagine what "monsters" you have raised so he shouldn't not be judged for this. And the thing with "monsters" is that they are usually very traumatized people themselves and this psycholgical disorder usually is discovered when its way too late...so sad..But David cannot even believe what has happened and how his son has developed...Its so sad, this precious boy passed because noone discovered how severe and serious his father's psychological issues were

    Poor child entered into Hell when he met his new grandparents too. They don't sound like fun at all. Requiring the teachers to send a progress note daily!! That is ridiculous. Teachers have 20 other kids to manage and work with... they don't have time for that. It is not necessary either unless the child is struggling. I have heard that Corey was very bright! I worked in schools 30 plus years as a speech therapist. We always recommended kids have downtime after school. School is rigorous and consuming. Yet the baby had this "schedule" afterwards. Frankly, I think Chris' upbringing was less than ideal emotionally but of course, there was plenty of money and resources around apparently. Still Christopher is a monster. Daddy can gloss over it all he wants. I think daddy is equally as controlling and threatening. Homeland Security? OOO K. Why did the mother allow her baby to be taken? I blame her too.

If you’ve seen the video of Christopher and Corey in the gym than you know he deserves time in prison for what he did. His child didn’t get a broken leg. No, He died. That’s murder. Ok, all done.

    It seems that the prosecutor could've better related to the defendant's father.... Granted, she wasn't trying to be directly offensive, but starting the conversation off by saying "good morning" followed by steadfastly retrieving information out of a witness that he could be something of reluctant to hand over to her... could've seemed unpreferable from David's point of view.

If a fellow like Christopher Gregor makes a baby but does not want you or the baby, you take the baby and walk away. You dont push yourself nor your child on these people. They do not want you or your child and you got to get that thru your head! The mother of this little boy did wrong. Once again, these Gregors did not want her nor her child.
