CPS FAILED. Judge, failed. Mother called CPS 100 times, along with the child’s first grade teacher. Mother filed for emergency temporary custody - AND IT WAS DENIED. CPS and family law - y’all need to step down. This child is DEAD.
Montgomery Case
This happens far too often. Maybe judges should be held accountable when a child dies due to abuse that's been reported.
@@lori....4816yes I totally agree!! Judges should be held accountable as well. 🤨
They all need to be held accountable and lawsuits filed with criminal charges
Hold everybody at fault accountable
Hurting a defenceless child is the most evil thing anyone can do.
Or animal. Anyone vulnerable.
I hope he gets prison justice! This is heartbreaking.
When parents feel they have no control over the situation with no power they take that anger out on the child bc they get some sick satisfaction out of it
😭😭😭
@@audrealambert9583What power didn’t he have?
This bastard MUST BE LOCKED UP NOW AND PUT IN PRISON FOR LIFE.
Give the trial a chance to play out. If you were on trial, you’d want the same 💐💐💐
I agree. These videos are very disturbing.
And throw away the key!
Absolutely!!
no, he should be free.
That treadmill incident could absolutely cause his death!
As a certified personal trainer I can tell you that overexercising can cause every single symptom that child experienced that night, including death. The vomitting, sore legs, lethargy, extreme sleepiness, dehydration, and seizures can all be caused by over-exercising; I know, I've seen it - I've never seen someone die, but I've seen all the other symptoms.
Regarding the sepsis: What happens when you exercise too hard is, the muscles break down, causing toxins to spill into the bloodstream. If the system is overloaded with those toxins the liver and kidneys are unable to clear them out of the bloodstream, and it can/will cause the person to become septic. It's called rhabdomyolysis, and it's a painful death.
This poor little guy didn't stand a chance. My heart is broken over this one.
Did they say this happened in Idaho??
Commentator made mistake. I noticed it 2. Actually happened in New Jersey.
What about the lacerated heart and liver though?
@@jackson9282that was abuse on top of the exercises he took it out on corey when mom dropped him off

The defendant killed this beautiful boy.
I bet carrying Cory into hospital was the ONLY time this so called father ever even HELD his son. This is so sad. I can’t take it.

I think you’re absolutely right
Oh my God you and me both. I want to see this man pay. Nancy Grace said it best that there are people around the world that would pay everything they have to have a sweet little boy like him and he destroyed his son. And I sure as heck don't believe that Mom did it or that this boy died because he was sick
100%
He probably did more to him in order for him to have to take him into emergency.
This man is so evil! Watching him abuse his child on that treadmill was so disturbing! I hope the jury makes the right choice and locks him up!
Can you imagine what he did at home with no cameras around?
@@lovelylyrics1687 Exactly it's disgusting and heartbreaking.
@@michelleadams474 it really is heartbreaking I have nerve damage and it burns so hard I can't imagine Corey's little legs and stomach how they must have hurt to run like he did on that treadmill..he was so little and his big #$_&-: dad biting him on the head. It's just so sad nothing can bring him back and I can't imagine the anger and sadness his poor mother is feeling.
@@lovelylyrics1687I’ve never heard of anyone biting a person’s head before - it was almost animalistic - he’s dangerous - and his facial expressions in the courtroom each day are scary and quite telling
It was clear that Corey was scared of his dad, by the fact he didn't complain being forced to run on the treadmill. I know if I tried to get my young grandson to do that at 6 years old, he'd say "no way" and walk off, because he'd have no fear and rightly so!
I believe the father is responsible for Cory’s death. Making him run on treadmill, Cory falling off hitting his head, stomach, liver, kidneys, heart, being put back on several times, being bit in head. Extreme abuse by the father.
God only knows what he did to Corey that day behind closed doors of his home! If he was okay to behave the way he did in the apartment gym, can you just imagine what he would do when there’s no possibility of anyone being around? The boy was fine when his mom dropped him at dad’s! I think he continued the abuse in his home that day!
If the dad was caught doing that in "public" then I am sure, he was physically abusive to his son at home given that the boy looked scared of his own dad.
The fact that the boy got up and back on that treadmill after falling so horribly each time shows true fear of his dad, he was so scared of what would happen if he stopped. This is so sad. RIP Corey he deserved so much better 💕
@@kristentrep5038 that’s a good point, I didn’t think of that
I think it's utterly insane the defense suggests he had pneumonia, while also implying the mother set him up for this
My opinion the hospital personnel were VERY slow in reacting at all, any nurse can see this. Yes, I’m a nurse.
@April-sp8un I’m a doctor. Unfortunately Corey should have been brought in hours prior.
@@Jade_902 oh a doctor ! Tell me what would you do to treat a child in this position arriving at the hospital ?
@Jade_902 I had sepsis the hospital released me 3x. I kept returning via ambulance finally I couldn't walk thry admitted me. People can walk and talk sometimes up to a very crucial hour then they collapse. I think the hospital erred. Both parents needed to be made aware of the 2 hospitals that suspected sepsis. The health care system is broken.
The hospital personnel probably had no idea what Corey had been going through. I can't believe if they knew that they would have done everything they could to help him. Most of the people in a hospital setting really are there to help and save lives.
@@shimmer8289Wth??? I was hours from death with a bloodclot, sepsis & pulmonary Embolism. I remember seeing a poster in the critical care ward saying "1 in 4 people die of sepsis." That's frightening that they missed it 3X with you! ❤
My gut tells me that the father punched him and lacerated the liver. That kid was the dad's punching bag.May the SOB get his justice in prison.
For life.
The child fell several times while on the treadmill, which was captured on cct.

The defendant cant even control his anger at trial! Full of rage!
Yes! If nothing else, his facial expressions are going to lose the case for him. (Not that I'd be upset. Azzhole needs to be in prison indefinitely!) I've been observing him all during the trial. The looks of utter detest from him for damn near everyone! It's quite telling. This man seems full of rage. I know I'm really going out on a limb here but I wouldn't be shocked to find out he's a 'roid head who abused steroids. It's been said that he's super into fitness and sports. Plus steroids would explain his anger and abuse. Note I said _explain_ NOT _excuse._ Frankly, there is no excuse for him or his behavior.
Yes you could see it all in his face how pissed off he was when that male nurse was testifying and him saying was on the videos he was fussing at his lawyer with a evil mean look on his face.

He is full of rage!!! He looks scary on video… in court … where his life in jail is on the line… he can’t fake caring about his son??? Let him receive in full what he gave this poor child.
This guy took custody just to avoid child support. A monster with 0 capacity for love. RIP precious little boy 💔🖤🥀

I get The sarcasm. In real life, a lot of abusers like this guy are totally loved, adored and supported by their parents. I think they are the definition of "spoiled". They raise the kids to behave poorly, don't effectively teach the child to behave , treat others in s socially acceptable (non violent) way. They become adults with behavior issues lacking basic social skills and abuse their own child, next generation. Chances are the Dad was a bully as a teen, and Noone ever disciplined him then, Noone gave him lessons on how to be a non-violent person. Happens all.the.time. in schools today. Bullys run rampant, never disciplined, never effectively taught to be non- aggressive. By adulthood, those behaviors are normalized to people like this dad.

Exactly. The nurse says I could not see his face. Ok, be a good nurse, and actually go look at the kids face. Ask more questions, and the ask to move his head to see face. Simple. As nurses are responsible to do a proper assessment, then tell the Dr their observation... " oh, Dr., no I did not bother to check his eyes or face for response. No his arms and legs did not move. He was totally limp, and passed out. He's fine. Dad brought him to the ER as non responsive and limp, but I did not fully assess".
Why isn't the hospital being investigated as well? As a healthcare professional for over 15 years - the response time critically failed. That little boy COULD still be alive if the personnel acted quickly enough and then mom would have even more evidence for full-custody. And pay attention - the ER personnel were defending their reasons for not acting quickly the entire time - abuse? absolutely but the proper healthcare could have prevented his death. Parents are often told they can be over dramatic, and nurses will tune out the parent who shows sny emotions or too much emotion in the ER. Nurses are taught to ignore emotions, including in parent. The calm parents get better response from health csre providers, usually. Being emotional, raised voice, immediately gets health care people turned off to you. I am a retired RN, BSN and CCRN. ..I worked for 45 years in most areas in upper New Jersey and NYC. I worked in Pediatrics and Pediatric ICU, CTICU (where open heart surgery and heart and lung transplants where done), in an ER, in Oncology and in a Burn ICU. I think the nurse in this hospital worked extraordinarily fast. The father was a Walk-in. He hadn't even checked in yet. He was just standing there, not trying to get anyone's attention. The Rn noticed the father, who hadn't even checked in, asked questions, and took his pulse at the same time, then immediately placed him in a room, placed EKG pads, iv and at the same time got the attention got doctors and the unit manager to take over while he attended to emergency calls. Great Job, testifying RN!!
The father can barely contain his rage sitting there, eww!
It's like he's sitting there still hating the child.
Exactly!!
The prosecutor asking the questions sucks. She's not listening. She's just reciting the questions on her list in this terrible deadpan voice. She's horrible.
💯 💯💯💯💯 is she trying to put the jury to sleep???!🛌 😴 💤 💤💤💤
What’s horrible is in video where he speeds up the treadmill after kids been on 10 minutes and the kid falls repeatedly and he grabs the child chest by the skin to pick him up and slams him back on the moving treadmill and then he proceeds to bite his head. He’s a monster. I can deal with her dull voice. The prosecutor has throughout made his client look worse.
@@candykane4271 Well I agree with you there… that video is beyond belief. It’s been on my mind since i saw it. That poor little boy. I can’t believe anyone can do that to any child. What a disgusting POS. I hope he rots in jail.
I mean they typically know the case. Facts are facts and have to be put on the record and many times that is all you have to do to prove a case. This isn't meant to be entertainment, at all.
@@jackson9282 I wasn't commenting on the entertainment value. My point is that she’s not listening to the answers. It happened several times that the witness said something, and she asked the same question he just answered, because she wasn;t listening. She’s just reading her list. Nothing thing to do with entertainment. Thanks.
He even shook the child in the waiting room of the hospital. he's pure evil
??? Timestamp! I missed this I think
Those of us who have children know that if our kids were on the treadmill, and fell off.., most wouldn’t keep trying to get back on after that fall! Corey had to have been terrified not to get back on! This guy was constantly abusing Corey! Chris is a villain!
And we wouldn't put the kid on the treadmill to begin with. I'm pretty sure there had to be a sign prohibiting kids from the workout room. It's too much of a liability. Too much risk.
@@lmiller1413 absolutely! If our children fell off anything when they were six, we’d give them a hug.., and go do something to make them feel better about their fall! It’s telling that the child knew to get back on over and over! He knew if he didn’t, he’d be punished more. So, this behavior wasn’t new for Chris that day!
Their reaction was sl9w because there was no urgency from the father!

The defendant was clearly abusing Corey. The treadmill incident was not the first time, evident by the child’s behavior. So sad. The ongoing abuse was a huge factor contributing to Corey’s death. 😭 💔
This man abused a little boy because why would he not pick on someone who is smaller than him, weaker than him. Maybe this man needs to treat a grown man this way and see how it goes. What a coward.
I couldn’t stop crying after seeing Corey wrapping his arms around his dad. How could that father be so cruel to his own child? Even in that treadmill video he was being so obedient. Makes me sick to my stomach what this poor child went through.
That man pisses me off!! His youngster was sleepy and disorientation after a few short hours with dad. Did the MF take him to a doc? No! He waits until Cory slept a few hours then took time to call mom and get his insurance card BEFORE taking his almost dead son to the ER!!! Then he's telling the staff why he's brought him but absolutely no concern or crying or begging for his sons life to be saved! That man is revolting!! The mom was barking up every tree that she could in the previous months and absolutely NO one intercepted on Cory' s behalf. Every single person to have contact with Cory during the months leading up to this are as disgusting as the dad. Mandatory reporters need to be held accountable in this!!!!
I agree. This is so sad and pathetic. As a Father, I just wanna inflict pain on this heartless man. Rest in Peace Corey. My heart hurts, so many failed you in your life, you precious Angel.
It breaks my heart that Cory was made to feel like such a bad child, not worthy. Even at these hospitals.
Indeed
We just need his sentence !!! He killed the little boy !
Everyone failed this poor sweet boy!
How did the mom fail him?
@@FrenchieGivesYabatheKia well for starters he didn't even live with mom!!!! And why not!?
He was given custody to dad bc mom was unsuitable! She failed him!!!
Have you read and heard the whole story,??????
@@FrenchieGivesYabatheKiashe failed him by putting herself, her needs, her life, her addictions before the little boy she gave birth to.
Not fair to batch the mom in on that one!
Christopher Gregory , father is a retired state trooper and he still did that to Corey. SAD.
look at the boys limp body. this actually makes me cry. how can a dad do this to his own??? i can’t
I know. I can’t get into this case anymore. Watched this vid. Saw the comments. It’s enough for me and I know that’s not a lot. But it’s too heavy.
When he picked his kid up right after he got in, and you see the kids arms swing around his dad to hold onto him… broke my heart. The last bit of life he had left was wrapping his arms around the person who should’ve done anything to protect him. Instead this child was an open target for someone that is sadistic and filled with rage.
Life sucks sometimes. This dude should be in prison for the rest of his life.
@@missyelliot6237 💔💔💔 i’m hugging my kids tight right now. RIP little man 🙏🏽
they took so long wish they had taken him straight away to emergency room
I don’t know if the death penalty is being sought, but he deserves no less. Monster. Evil.
He hit him so hard in the chest that split his heart. 😢😢😢that is so sad, a child is so fragile that it doesn't take a hard hit to hurt him... it's hurts to hear this
He looked so emotionless as he watched little Corey suffering on that treadmill. That sickened me as much as his actions did.
No one should ever treat a child like he did. It’s insane abuse.
Unbelievable they are going to flip this to the mom. The little boy endured blunt force trauma hitting his tiny little body against the treadmill. Every time he fell on it!
That was most likely the only abuse that was recorded. Corey was abused off camera by his dad to have died from that many injuries
@@faithelizabeth7304 it makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.
Because they know some people will look down on her because she is a former addict. Even in some comment sections there are people blaming the mother for the father's behavior and Corey's death.
At least his mother worked to get clean and now has a daughter. She was trying to save her son by contacting CPS and taking him to the hospital to prove the abuse. I just hope the jury can see through what the defense attorney is trying to do. Even if his mom made mistakes it doesn't change what this man did to his son.
Along with what he endured behind closed doors after the treadmill incident....remember, there were several hours that had gone by b4 the killer father carried Corey into the hospital.
The “Father” shows no ounce of sympathy he has no soul,
To inflick pain like this on a 6 year old is a whole different level of evil.
This monster treated his little boy as a piece of property. Instead of ER situation, he took a damaged piece of 'stuff' to a repair shop. Narcissist and a Monster!
I've seen more concern/distress from someone bringing their Mac to an Apple Genius Bar.
That ER doctor should have immediately taken the child for examination!
No because he would have been accused of overreacting

@@maryagregory6523 thank you for your insights. I was speaking about the first ER visit with the mother. The father was not present. They saw the bruises all over his body and yet no further action was taken. CPS should have been called immediately. They should not have let him go.
Look at him carrying his kid in ER like he cares! This whole case is sickening.
I feel that he cares only for himself, and when he realized he had caused life-threatening injury to his child was trying to help Corey only to minimize the trouble he himself would be in.
Mother tried getting full custody and the day before went to court. Was denied. The Court system needs to be held accountable. She should do something
Rest in peace little Cory. Your so called Father DID NOT DESERVE YOU! I am so sorry for your mom’s loss! 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Everyone is to blame! Nurse Social workers mom! Christopher is a menace to society and a sick man and must be treated as such! May Corey’s beautiful soul rest in peace ❤
They were really careful to go after everyone else and give the dad his rights. Very common these days
@michekids They favor dad's, especially if they have money. I've bee through this crap.
Mother is no doubt not perfect however she made over 100 reports of abuse trying to help her son and got no help
You actually didnt fully observe the child. You didnt see him move nor see him breathe or his face but you didnt see and urgency in treatment
My son is 7 and the pain this poor child experienced breaks my heart. Chris is a murderer and killed this poor child with his abuse and neglect. The suit hides nothing…he’s a monster!
There was no need for a trial. That man was so brutal to that poor boy that caused his death. Why a trial? He should’ve been in prison right away forever.
Why a trial? Because in this country you are innocent until proven guilty. Also, we saw what the father did on camera but there probably was more off camera, also.
I think he beat him up because the poor kid was highly dehydrated from working out so hard. The fear of this poor kid was in and you cannot think properly when you're lacking electrolytes. So dad beats him up! It's my guess that that is what happened. Poor Corey! This poor sweet innocent little boy. I don't know what has to happen to change these types of outcomes but when mom is begging for somebody to take a look at what is happening to this boy, the teacher also makes a complaint. And the presiding judge does not do anything! Wtf!
I think he did too. I also think that coupled with the treadmill torture the child may have been shoved hard which could have exacerbated his injuries. This man is sadistic!
I think so too....monster!!
@@kieshtinthaplacetobe yeah he's disgusting and a demented person. It's not human to want to harm your child. Sick
What an angry little man. His face says it all.
👏👏👏
Serious rage
Even though the mother did drugs she still tried to save her son
It was difficult to watch. Horrible, horrible!. Prison for life. Such a sweet little angel. He suffered brutal torture from his dad. So so sad and tragic.
I am sorry this hospital was horrible. They should’ve taking Cory right away.
Newsperson says Cory was released from the ER the night before with a clean bill of health. But how could they not have detected that the child had septis the night before?
He didn’t have sepsis the night before, sepsis develops quickly from any infection. In this case, his punctured lung or liver would have been the most likely sources. Once it becomes sepsis, it can progress to death within hours.
2 prior hospitals mom visited suspected sepsis but she went to 3rd that discharged him the dad is the cause imo. But the hospitals were negligent and I would be getting a lawyer to see if the child was mishandled in the system.
The hospital visit the night before was because DCP&P told the mother to bring him for an exam to document the abuse. Chris found this out and was supposed to bring him back to see a child abuse expert the next day and this enraged him so instead he beat his son so bad it ultimately killed him
Jersey Shore Medical is trash tbh but good question.
@@shimmer8289you are full of shite ! Stop spreading lies .
The boy's photos say everything. That is not a happy boy. This indicates that this was not the first time the boy may have been abused.
Agreed, Corey was abused, neglected…. Over a period of time.
In the ER surveilance video there are zero comforting gestures by Christopher. A parent would be gently swaying and occasional pats, rubs, kisses...even comforting words. He's doing none of those--zero engagement with his son.
Hard to watch this one. It's not comprehensible that any human, let alone the father, could be so evil.
This hurts my heart 💔
