Not too long ago, a young mom, fought for her life in a crowded Target parking lot, in a very “safe” area near me. A guy was trying to kidnap her. She was able to fight him off. A person should be aware of their surroundings no matter where they are.

Always mark your walk on the trail to help find your way back to your campground. It is easy to get lost because seeing rocks and mountains from the front differs from walking back.

A few things to take on your hike, a bullhorn, bear spray, flashlight, satellite phone, Apple tag tracker walking stick with hidden knife. IJS 🙏
Plus an emergency locator beacon.
